Why Gator Air Conditioning Co. is the first air conditioning company that I will always consider, for service and equipment, from now on. When my air conditioning system failed to function, I called the company that I had contracted with, for service. When the service man arrived, he said that my system was low on gas and that I must have a leak somewhere and my contract with his company did not include finding the leak. He informed me that in order for him to find the leak, would require a $95 dollar, minimum service call and repair of the leak, would be an additional $95 dollars per hour charge. He also informed me that the air handler, which is inside the house, was several years old and it, most likely, was where the leak was. He also let me knows, after checking with his office, that it would be much more cost efficient to replace the inside half of my system, rather than having it repaired and that would cost, about $2000. I thanked him and told him that before I did that, I would like to call around for other companies prices for this piece of equipment. I called several other companies and they all gave me a price, somewhere similar to the original one of $2000. Gator Air Conditioning Company was the only company that sent a technician out, to determine if the $2000 piece of equipment, that every company was bidding on, was truly in need of replacement. The Gator Air service technician found that the leak was nothing more than a missing cap on a filter stem, located on the outside half of my system. He replaced the cap, filled my system with gas and saved me $2000. The Gator Air Conditioning Company treated me in an honest and respectful manor and that's the most that any consumer expects from any sales and service company.
