Crown Bath

In June of 2014 we obtained an estimate from a very professional person who assured us that the tub would not blister or chip after his company painted it. We decided to have the work done. Since that time workman have been to our house for repairs, repainting and touch-ups numerous times because the tub paint has chipped or blistered: 06/26/2014, 06/27/2014, 08/05/2104, 09/25/2104, 12/02/2104, 01/14/2015. This last repair seemed to work, but then in August of 2015 we noticed new blisters and contacted Crown Bath via email on 08/26/2015 and 09/12/2105 asking for a refund because we felt that they are unable to provide us with a useable tub. We agree that they have tried to stand by their work, but it has not fixed the problem. And each time the workmen came to our home, they were courteous and helpful, but their fixes never seem to last. First they painted the tub ivory which was the color it was supposed to be and then they painted it white. Additionally, they have gotten paint on areas that should not have been painted. We were willing to put up with the wrong color and the paint on the controls, etc. but the cracked bubbles have now worn away; eventually this will make the tub unusable. On 09/14/2015 they emailed us to say that they would refund our payment. We have not heard from them since.

I called as they are certified to work on Jacuzzi brand tubs. The house we bought had a jetted tub that did not work. The tub was still under warranty. I called Crown Bath to set up an appointment and the young lady who helped me was very nice. I asked specifically if the tub would have to be lifted out of the encasement and was told no. When the gentleman arrived, I was told that I would have to get a plumber to lift the tub out so he could look at it! Basically, I got a little bad information and it was a wasted appointment.

I was told they would be coming on the 25th 2 weeks ago and when i asked what time, i was told i would recieve a call. I didnt get a call until Don was at the gatehouse of our neighborhood and no one was home. He refused to wait the 20 min for me to get there to let him in and after asking him to stay again, he went silent. I shared it was very unprofessional and he Hung up on me and wouldnt pick up my return calls. When i called his office, the response was i could/should have called them to get a time. Might be great, might be horrible but one of the worst service experiences i have ever had. I hope Hydro systems finds another vendor as they shouldnt let him represent their company but its there decision.

The replacement motor Don Potocki installed made bubbles but the air bubble noise was deafening. We had to shout over the racket when he turned it on. He stated he had supplied what we required and demanded $375. No paperwork was provided, then nor after a follow-up phone request. We hired someone else to put a baffle in the air line to lower the roar to a bearable level.

I can no longer see where the holes were in the bath. The repair is completely invisible and it was all done in about 1 hour. Great job!
