+ -1 moreComputer Chip is a very jovial guy. He was very professional and tried many things to do the fix. When that didn't work, he offered to get all the stuff he could off my old drive and put it on my new computer. He went over and above on this job. I would recommend him for computer repairs and information. I'm estimating on the price and date as it was awhile ago and I thought I did a review at that time. He is very reasonable in cost and punctual.
Description of Work: Tried to recover crashed hard drive--didn't work but saved most info and put on new computer.

Description of Work: Had Chip come over because the monitor on the pc went black--didn't know if I needed a new monitor or video card. Once he was here and told me I needed a new monitor, I had him go through my laptop because it wasn't running right. He spent probably an hour or so doing diagnostics and upgrades, told me what he was doing every step of the way, and now it is running great.

He worked efficiently yet he did not rush the job. He even came back to answer some of my questions after his initial visit! He is competent, professional and very accessible. He provides follow-up service and ongoing communications and tips. Great job!! I'm very happy with the connection I made through Angie's List!!
Description of Work: Chip reviewed the operation of my laptop and made recommendations on how to improve its overall performance. He was very punctual and professional. He worked nonstop for approximately 2.5 - 3.0 hours. He recommended several different options which greatly improved my laptop's operations.

+ -1 moreHe came in and powered up my computer and he hooked up something of his to clean out my computer of uneeded files and registries. It took him a hour and a half ( that is how bad my computer was). My computer is now running alot faster and I can play my games now without turning off the firewall.He has many years of experience and is very knowledgable. He works in Manatee and Sarasota Counties. I also wanted to hook my computer to my TV and he sent me a link and the cable I was to buy for a fraction of what Best Buys would charge you.
Description of Work: My computer was messed up, a friend of mine told me about Computer Chip he comes to your home to fix your computer. He knew his stuff basically cleaned up my computer did a yearly check up. I can now do things that I wasnt able to do before, had I not already bought a renewal subscription for virus protection he said there are alot of free virus protection that do a better job than the ones that people pay for. He got rid of something that I downloaded but wanted it gone and I tried to remove the program but it kept on coming back.
