This company is wholly unprofessional in their interactions with customers. Their estimator came out in December 2021 to evaluate an issue with the flooring they installed in February 2021. He explained the fix needed – taking up part of the flooring, leveling, reinstalling. After waiting months for them to order materials (which they finally realized I already had on hand), they scheduled the fix for March 2022. They no-showed on the first date, promising to come the next day. They no-showed on the second date. Kristen, the daughter who does the scheduling, is impossible to reach by phone. I finally was rescheduled a third time for three days later. This time a single person showed up, marched into my home like he owned the place, looked briefly at the issue and announced that he would put some finishing nails into the trim. I tried to explain that that was not the service originally promised, but he constantly spoke over me. When I finally asked if I could at least finish my sentence, he proclaimed himself a professional that didn’t need to deal with this type of situation and proceeded to storm out. So, after three months of waiting, two no-shows, one entirely unprofessional interaction and multiple phone calls, I’m still waiting 24 hours later for someone from Coastal or my builder to even acknowledge the situation, and I have zero hope that they’ll actually fix it.
