We have had problems with the HunterDouglas blinds from the start. The measurement of the blinds is so close to actual size of openings that the blinds hit on the brackets holding the coards every time blinds are opened or closed. The pull cords were very hard to pull up and down on 5 of the 6 installed blinds and after many calls and complaints the company had them worked on and they are better. Now one of the cords has broken and the blind is stuck half open, we called and reported the problem and have been waiting weeks for repair. When you have a problem you call the number for Budget Blinds and a person answers they take your information and say someone will get back with you. What we are finding is that the person answering is an answering service and Caroline is never around after the sale, a repair person named Norm is who you deal with when he has time. We purchased the HunterDouglas blinds because they seemed to have a good reputation and had the colors we wanted, I will never purchase them again or suggest any one should.

Everything went well. They were on time for appointments – even did some install early so we could more in. blinds look great. Always returned calls when I had questions.

Took a long time for response to initial email. Once they called a time and date for the estimate that went well. Gretchen was very professional and they had a good selection to chose from. I did get estimates from other Angie List companies and found that this company was much more expensive even with the 25% member discount. Also another company brought up installation issues not addressed by Budget Blinds.

Everything went fine. The installation was excellent - which means the measurements were spot on. Am very happy with the final results. I would hire Budget Blinds again.

It went great. The sales person actually called and arranged to come earlier than scheduled. She had all information with her, there were plenty of good choices, and she gave good advice. Items came within promised delivery time, and they arranged to have both installers come at the same time which was really convenient. Blinds and drapes fit perfectly and we have no complaints at all.

I purchased the shutters in three installment over a period of a year and a half. The shutters were well priced, the quality is excellent, as was the installation.

Our first estimate had an error that resulted in a very low price for what we wanted to order. The owner got involved and honored the price. The blinds were done when we were told they would be, and done well. Additionally, we had a small problem with the operation of one blind. This was rectified immediately. Since then we have ordered another blind. The installation was done early, quickly and professionally. I have already recommended this company to a family member who had their entire house done and is very satisfied. I recommend Budget Blinds Sarasota without hesitation.

Shutters were installed the first time & the dimensions were way off. They also didn't close properly. I don't know if the errors were due to improper measurements by Budget, or manufacturer's error. They installed them without checking the measurements first, & they were way off. We had to wait a couple more months for the shutters to be remanufactured & installed. Finally, they were installed again ( installer was a nice guy ). They now fit right, but the quality is not good. The joints were caulked to make them look better, but still not satisfactory. Way overpriced for this quality. It took almost 5 1/2 months from when we ordered until the installation was finally completed. Not a good experience. Update - 3 months later, the shutters are falling apart. Installer is supposed to be here ( he's late & no call ) to fix this. I don't know how anyone gives these people good grades. They are the worst I've ever encountered.

The service was excellent from the initial proposal through the installation. They called to confirm the date and time for the walk through and proposal, set the installation date, called to confirm that date 1 day prior to the install, and even sent an email with the installer's picture. Katherine in the office was very friendly and responsive. Jason who installed the blinds was on time, made a couple of suggestions for the door, and installed the blinds quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with the product, installation, and the total service provided.
