Description of Work: I had 2 older trees removed & there was a big mound of built up mulch/dirt left where the stumps were. Big Dog was recommended by Stillman (the tree guy) to come remove them & dig out the stump remaining under the surface. It took them a while to get around to it (apparently they had equip problems but they didn't let me know that until they finally called to set up a date. They also broke an irrigation pipe & never mentioned it to me. They did warn me that that might happen but since we didn't see any heads in the area (it was buried in the mound) i thought no more about it until the condo board came down on me for the leak it created. I was fine with paying for repairs but felt they should have let me know the pipe had been damaged. One bush I asked to have removed is still there, and a pile of dirt they left against the house & told me would disappear is now a flourishing weed mound that I suppose I will have to go out & remove myself. I would still recommend them&/or use them again but detail oriented they're not.

 + -1 moreHis name was giving to me by Stillmans Tree sevice, but I hadn'tcalled him yet. Stillmans told him about us and he was in the area, so he stopped to see if we wanted to use his sevice. Since I was going to call him anyways. I told, yes. He had his grinder with him and did 3 stumps. Would use him again. Yes, he was very good.

Description of Work: Used stumpgrinder to demolish some large tree roots that were approaching house foundation and also 2 small stumps in backyard.

Description of Work: We've been using Big Dog for over 5 years. Never a problem, great service AND CLEANUP, little "extras" like light tree and buch trimming at no charge. I pay $30/visit -- maybe every three week in the summer, once every eight weeks in the winter. Works out to less than the typical monthly-fee landscape maintenance around here -- and Tim (owner) always does a great job.
