The best service I have ever had. Daniel was amazing.

Our tankless water heater stopped working. We called to have It repaired. After examining the heater we learned that the control board and a few other things were in need of replacement. The original unit was twelve years old. The cost of repairs were such that it made sense to replace the heater. A new tank was ordered and installed the following day.

Ted was the nicest gentleman, very professional, and solved my stopper problem with no charge. I did not decide yet on garbage disposal since he advised I needed electrical work to put one in. Also, the company installs the Moen brand, which appears to be higher than some.

They were fabulous and I was very impressed. They did an excellent job providing an inexpensive alternative until I replace the commode. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

I have a plumbing services plan I pay monthly for and the hot water heater they installed is still under warranty. I called early on Christmas Eve and was told by their call center no one was answering (so much for 24/7 availability as advertised) so she put the appointment down for 6 days later as she said that was the earliest they had. I explained that is ridiculous as it means no hot showers, no clean dishes, etc. and she suggested calling another plumber. The thing is under warranty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called back on the 26th and was given the same bs. Never use these rip off artists. Terrible service.

They charged my mother over $300. They could have told her to go buy a new toilet and just have them install it, but they didn't, and they had to come back 3 times. The last time the guy came he actually turned her shoulder and told her to go sit down. Very unprofessional.

I would not recommend them to anyone.

They were good. I think they were a little high. There was nothing wrong with the quality of the work or the people. They were very nice young men and all like that, but I think their price was a bit high.

Plumber could not fix our water heater, yet charged us $129 for the "service call." In addition, he broke the latch on the unit. Supervisors have not returned our multiple calls for 3 months. We were told the $129 would be refunded, but it has not been, and it has been 3 months. Beware: the estimates are not free, and customer satisfaction is definitely not a priority.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Having heard of Ben Franklin plumbing via advertising, decided to check the Angie's list reviews. Due to the company receiving basically good reviews in the past, decided to call them for an estimate. The reason for the original inquiry was due to a severe leak in the main water feed line directly down stream of the water meter at the street level. The technician (Erick) arrived on time, and presented himself in a professional manner, informing the consumer of a $61 dollar service charge. After we agreed to pay that charge, Erick proceeded to "diagnose" the problem. After about 20 minutes, during which he did gather a small sample of wet soil from within the meter box, Erick informed us that he would work up a cost for repair. His price estimate was $1700 dollars. this included NO WARRANTY, due to using existing lines for the repair. To completely repair and replace the line the quote was $3600 dollars! Prior to calling this company we were able to see water shooting out of the meter box into the air, indicating the leak was close to the meter itself, When Erick arrived, the ground in the meter box was wet, but the box was not flooded, so that he could have easily seen the same thing. We subsequently called The Clean Plumber Phillip Maurici plumbing, who also came out to the residence. Within10 minutes technician Kenny located the source of the leak (less than one foot from the meter, as well as a second leak right at the meter) and informed us that the price would be $269 dollars- WITH A ONE YEAR WARRANTY!!! On top of that, they have a current coupon for $200 dollars of plumbing for $119 dollars! He completed the repair within about one and 1/2 hours, and was on his way. I don't know what Ben Franklin thinks with this kind of pricing structure, but I can tell you that I will NEVER consider doing business with that company due to this attempt at OUTRIGHT PRICE GOUGING! If the Ben Franklin tech had spent a little more time to remove a few small shovels full of dirt, the leak would have been obvious with the naked eye and therefore a more accurate diagnosis/estimate would have been done. I have used several service providers from Angie's List, and very rarely need to post a negative review.

All they want to do is sell you something. After about 5 minutes of this guy working in the house, I could tell he just wanted to sell me something. They ended up selling me an air tap and I was disappointed. They extremely overcharge and I later found out the air tap they sold me was just an expensive add-on that used more energy than they promised.

I reached out to this company after receiving positive feedback from a co-worker. The two guys that came out were very professional and I was vary confident that they where well trained and qualified to do this work. They did a good job at cleaning up the mess and tracks they made. I was very happy with how thorough they explained the issues and the options they gave me to choose from. At no point did I feel pressure to go with a more expensive option. The only drawback, is that I felt they were a bit pricey. That said, the guys actually pulled out a booklet listing all sorts of parts and repair jobs - so at least I knew the prices were fixed even if a bit high.

Came home one day after work to find a stream of water coming from under the garage door. Called, Ben Franklin out and ultimately, a hot water line was leaking and was located under the slab. Instead of spending a material amount of money on a likely, temporary fix we opted to have the house re-piped. The plumber acknowledged that they were not the cheapest option but the process would be hassle free and included fixing the dry-wall and cleaning. The crew showed up and completed the re-piping process in 2 days; as you can imagine we were happy to have hot water returned to the house by Sunday. To their credit, the plumbers were friendly, diligent and explained things as they went. Unfortunately this is where the accolades end. After the county inspected the work, a dry-wall company called to schedule an appointment to repair the walls. The day came, the dry-wall contractor arrived and after five minutes declared that there was more work to be done than he had anticipated, fair enough. Another day was scheduled, after waiting an hour past the agreed upon time, my wife had to leave for work. He did call me, however I could not be reached as I was in a meeting, again fair enough but we're starting to get annoyed at this point. Again, another appointment is set. The day arrives, the contractor appears on time, but stays for a few hours then left, at this point my Dad is in town from PA so it spared us from needing to take even more time off work. Finally, they showed up and and quot;completedand quot; the repairs after another appointment. The work was par at best and it was abundantly clear they were in a hurry. Furthermore, there was drywall mud all over the walls and they didn't cover ANYTHING. Cleaning up was really fun..... As mentioned before, my Dad was in town and I'm lucky he's a general contractor by trade so he fixed things up; however I doubt everyone out there has this luxury. Bottom Line: While the re-piping went just fine, we were hassled way more than I had anticipated considering we paid a premium not to be. Like most people out there, we didn't have countless days to take off work to deal with this. We have used Ben Franklin Plumbing and its affiliated companies on a few occasions prior, however after this experience we'll be calling another company for any future needs.

I tried for three days to get an appointment but couldn't even get on the list. This was after I had an appointment that was canceled by them. I had used them several times in the past without any issues and was very pleased with them before, but am not happy with their service this time.

They failed to locate water leak! Wanted to dig down to pipes. |water leak was in water softener which they checked and missed. |they wanted to charge over 1300.00 for fixing leak in ground that |wasn't there.

The personnel are neat and clean. They are very professional. They got the job done pretty quick, and were in and out. Ben Franklin typically doesn't do rentals unless you're there yourself. I have a service contract with them so I have rapid response. The service contract is about $20 per month. This also gives me a 10% discount off of all services. The contract covers plumbing, electrical, and heating and A/C.

A spigot broke off at the pipe, and water started flooding my yard. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to shut the water off, I called Ben Franklin plumbing. The person I spoke with was very sympathetic to my problem, and stated he would do what he could to get someone out to me as soon as possible. He stated he needed to contact their 'on-call' guy, and put me on hold. After about 4-5 minutes of waiting, he came back on the line and advised me that my situation was not considered an emergency (um, my yard was flooding, and the water was slowly making it's way to my front door). He said he could see if someone could come out in a 'non-emergency' capacity. After about another 4-5 minutes on hold, he came back on the line and told me they could have someone at my house in approximately 2 hours. Needless to say, I refused their offer, and called another plumbing service who was at the house, and had the work done all within about 45 minutes.

, The City replaced my water meter it was done wrong and it flooded my yard sending dirt and sand thru my lines. Called Ben Franklin over the phone they advised me that I would be charged $49 for a service call which would be refunded if they did the work. The service man came within the hour and started to work he was polite, efficient and did good work. Foolishly I did not ask what it would cost I was dumbfounded when he handed me a bill for $700. In the past replacing innards to a toilet cost no more then $50 he charged $200 and over for each task he did. Mentally blaming myself for not asking I advised him of the sales pitch that said no $49 charge if I used their service also inquired about advertised Senior Citizen discount. He claimed he didn't know anything about it and would have the company contact me. Of course no one did. I called several times and each time was advised that the accountant/bookkeeper was busy ,out to lunch ect. Bottom line they did the work but charged a fortune and did not keep their word about discount's. If you consider using this company get the price up front

They were very good and it was my first time using them. They were here for about 4 hours. They were so long because, 3 years ago, my husband and I took advantage of having a solar water heater system put in. The timer was no longer working and I called Ben Franklin. The device in the garage and the solar panels on the roof were not connected. The panels on the roof were there for show and the water heater was being heated by the electric company. So we were scammed. Ben Franklin came out and assessed the problem and came out and did that for me. It was costly and they did a wonderful job. Now everything is working as planned. This was three years ago and we had no way of knowing that the pipes were not installed correctly. I would use them again. The head guy was consulting back and forth with an expert to make sure that he got everything right. He was professional and very courteous.

The plumber (Steven) showed up early in the morning as scheduled. He was thorough and explained what the options were and what each option would cost. He was very professional, friendly, and thorough in his explanations. There was a $49 service fee; however I thought that was fair considering it was a Sunday morning and the avoided hassle of trying to get out of work.
