+ -1 moreWe met with Steve for a consultation regarding our home addition. The first thing that impressed us about him was his knowledge of architecture and design. He was able to do some raw sketches for us with geometric calculations in that initial meeting. As we sat with him, his charisma and personality made it feel like we were discussing our home addition with an old friend. We were concerned about setbacks and how much space we actually had to build, and upon leaving us he immediately called the county to address this concern. He was always prompt and timely when we had concerns or questions. He would take the time to write detailed e-mails or call us when we could both speak to him, even if it was 6:30pm (dinner time!). We ended up not being able to work with him because we decided to take an alternate route, but we loved working with Steve so much that we only felt it right to acknowledge his hard work and effort on our project.

+ -1 moreSteve provided this phase of construction in his usual excellent and user comfortable manner. I mention "usual" because Steve previously drew updates to our condo in 2009. When we decided to rehab another portion of our unit, my first thought was "Call Steve". Steve has an excellent knowledge of building code and is very detail conscious. In fact he always takes his own measurements to verify validity of previous documents. Detailed plans are very important to eliminate disputes between homeowners and contractors. Most people find that detailed blueprints are a great money saver. Change orders are eliminated, relationships between homeowner and contractors are smoothed. Overall , the building or renovation experience is made stress-free. I recommend Steve often to people who approach a contractor and say "I think I want to change etc."
Description of Work: Provided architectural drawings of an update to my condo. Drawings were detailed and scaled to provide exacting information for the contractors.
