Quantum Floors

These guys were great to deal with. From the estimate and measurements that they squeezed in before Thanksgiving and allowing us to take home several samples to compare against our tile flooring that would be sitting against the 3 rooms. Once me made a decision, they took a deposit for materials and were able to install the flooring within 2 weeks. During the installation, they hit a delay when they discovered the existing flooring in the master bedroom was glued directly to the concrete. They informed me immediately and told me that they needed to bring in a piece of equipment and there would be a slight delay. It turned out the delay was only a few hours into the next day to finish installing the master bedroom flooring. Communication was great, the crew was professional and they did a solid job. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Quantum floors is everything you could ask for from a wood flooring sales/installation company. They are the most professional sales and install team I've ever worked with. I could not have made a better choice. The first thing that impressed me as their showroom. It's pristine, well-lit, and surrounds some of the nicest wood flooring I've seen in our area. You won't have to search through stacks of flooring samples here, Nick and his team have a large selection nicely presented hanging on the walls. Selecting a floor was easy for us since we were able to see the floor in a natural light there. Nick and his team kept the communication going all the way through our install was completed. Their installers are organized, clean and do a total job. Our project was about a 2 day process. The installers got started prepping the slab promptly as promised first thing in the morning on the date scheduled. In all, They were complete with the install of the materials in much less time than I anticipated, and (since this was a new home) proceeded to finish the base molding install. If you are looking, or are not sure about where to start looking for engineered floors, Nick and his team will take care of you, fit you into your desired price point, and deliver quality materials installed by experts on the date promised. I am incredibly impressed how they operate their business and will come back to them to do my upstairs hopefully soon!

Quantum Floors is a business run by two young men who are amiable, professional, and knowledgeable. This is a top quality enterprise focused on customer service and excellence. Quantum Floor?s in-house installation crew was top notch and did a great job. Equally important is that you will be given a very fair and competitive price. In addition, you can expect a detailed, itemized, comprehensive proposal listing the work to be done along with the cost for each component of the job. Nick was very patient in answering all my questions. A particular concern I had was whether my dishwasher would be able to be removed after the floor was installed. Nick got down on the floor with me and removed the foot panel so we could check clearance for the legs. Others simply ?assured? me that it would be okay. I cannot recommend Quantum Floors more highly. I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the last few months concerning a number of home improvement projects and none even comes close to Nick and Junior at Quantum Floors regarding customer rapport and service. I live about 40 minutes from the store and it was well worth the ride.

Quantum did an amazing job installing wood floors upstairs in my house. The entire process went smooth from their installers delivering and installing the floors. I had to call them to thank them as they definitely exceeded my expectations. I didn't have to worry or follow up on any part of the project. They removed and reinstalled my baseboards perfectly. Quantum Floors scored an easy A+ for their extraordinary work in my home. They removed old carpet, moved furniture around, and installed a beautiful new laminate floor in my bedroom-to-artroom/office conversion. They delivered first rate, high quality results at a reasonable cost and the highest level of customer service only rarely encountered anymore. The professionals at Quantum Floors got the job done within a couple of days from selection/purchase to installation. Installation amazingly took only two hours when I?d anticipated a full day, and the fast, skilled, and personable workers were neat as a pin. Quantum Floors also demonstrated a respect for my time: I was contacted regarding an unexpected half-hour delay in arriving to measure my room (Nick arrived at my home precisely half hour after he called!); I was contacted the morning of installation to be advised that workers? truck had been loaded and they were on their way with estimated arrival time. As mentioned previously, the entire job took them only two hours! Quantum Floors is an extraordinary business. Other businesses should take note!

From the start, Nicholas Duprey, the owner of Quantum Floors was knowledgable and upfront when answering questions. I explained to him that I was going to be absent during the entire process and he assured me that there was no need for concern. I also decided on flooring which was unavailable locally, but, Nicholas rose to the challenge and found the flooring in Portland of all places and worked with the manufacturer to assure timely delivery. Initially, I thought I might use the prefabricated flooring on all the stairs in my house, but the bottom step, which is shaped differently, posed a challenge and would require customization and very likely look different than the engineered wood I chose. After making a site visit, Nicholas phoned and discussed the geometry of my house and room and assured me that the integrity of the bottom step would be maintained in a way that enables him to utilize the prefabricated wood so there wouldn't be a visual variance when looking at the steps. He and his Master Craftman Louis did just that. The step turned out better than I could have imagined. Throughout the process I was receiving updates from family members who reported Nicholas' entire team (Jose, Louis and himself) were clean, courteous, professional, and obviously skilled. The flooring we chose required a great deal of time to install, plank by plank. All considerations were taken by the team when laying the floor including the directions of the planks in order to optimize the flow of the space. There were several customizations requiring solutions atypical to a standard installation. They managed the issues and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you, Quantum. I highly recommend Quantum Flooring. You will not be disappointed.

Job went great quick neat clean great finished job

We recently bought an older home that had a mix of tile and carpeting. We wanted to have hardwoods throughout the house. We decided to go with Quantum after reading good reviews. Junior was helpful in helping me zeroing in on the best species of wood for our project. He came out and measure the house and gave me some quotes showing the costs depending on which wood I chose. We eventually settled on our choice of wood and they came out to remove the tiling (which is probably the hardest part of the install). We stayed out of the house one night just because a lot of dust gets kicked up with tile removal and there's nothing to be done about it. The actual hardwood installation went smoothly and only took a couple days to complete. We are very satisfied with the result. Our neighbors have already complimented us on how great the floors look. I would definitely recommend talk to them if you were interested in installing engineered hardwoods.

I can't recommend this place enough. These guys get it. I found them through Angie's list after looking at their reviews. I decided to go to their store where I could see samples. From the moment I entered their story on Gateway Blvd I knew I was going to buy my floors from them. My experience was quite different than from all the big box stores. I first met with Jr and later with Nick. They're both super friendly, honest and knowledgeable. They don't use high pressure sales tactics. Period. Instead they establish a friendship and work with you to educate you and show you all the options and let you decide. When I inquired about the less expensive floors they were just as enthusiastic about them as the expensive floors which told me they stood behind ALL the products they sell. After my visit to their store they came to my house within a day or two to measure and provide me with a FREE quote. (Not something you'll find from a certain major competitor who shall remain nameless.) After measuring I received a quote the same day. The quote was surprisingly reasonable and made my decision that much easier. After agreeing to the price and scope. The communication continued. They quickly scheduled an install date convenient to me and my timeline. Their installers showed up on time every day and cleaned up after themselves as they worked and after they left. Even the installers were friendly and courteous! And something has to be said for Nick personally coming to my home to follow up on the progress each day. These are the subtle differences between quality work and high production churn and burn work. Finally, the end result. What can I say. The floors are stunning and the compliments are non stop, If you have any doubts about my review. Just look at the pictures of my home. You just can't argue with Nice floors, done by nice guys and nice price. Hope this review helps you decide on who to chose.

We had what appeared to be a relatively small job in a low traffic side room. After finding Quantum on Angies List, I called and spoke with Nick over the phone, and he was extremely helpful. We visited the showroom about a week later and Nick remembered our earlier phone call. He showed us several products in various price ranges and even recommended one of the less expensive laminate flooring options based on our application (no pressure or attempts to up-sell, very friendly). The in-home estimate went quickly and smoothly and the installation started right on time. The job turned out to be bigger than anticipated - the installer needed to return to the warehouse for additional tools to remove the old ceramic tile and he also discovered old linoleum flooring (and adhesive) under the tile that also needed to be removed. Even though the job probably took a few hours longer than the installer expected (by no fault of his own) he still finished in one day and Quantum honored the original estimate. The floors look great and the installer even came up with a creative solution to cover an unsightly aluminum threshold with wood laminate to match the new floors.

The entire process was professional. From the moment I entered the store each person I encountered was friendly, knowledgeable and informative, Because it took us several trips to decide which wood floor was right for us, we met Nick, Junior and Fernando on various visits to Quantum. Their perspective and experience helped us feel comfortable that we were making the right choice of flooring for our home; Equally important is we felt comfortable that we were choosing the right company for a significant investment in our home. We shopped several flooring stores and these guys made Quantum floors our hands down choice. Then came the installation process...and WOW. The installers were great! Punctual, polite, helpful, detail oriented,and VERY highly skilled. Fernando, Julio and another team did an outstanding job- from moving the large furniture, meticulously laying the floor and completing the trim work, to the clean up. As Fernando and Julio were finishing the installation, Nick came back to make sure everything was satisfactory. So refreshing to deal with a top notch business!

I utilized Quantum Flooring for the purchase and installation of my hard wood floors. Their showroom is impressive, laid out nicely where all flooring is on display with large samples. Nick, owner, personally helped talk me through things to think about when picking out my flooring. After deciding on a floor, there was quite a delay of arrival due to the manufacturing company, but Nick did a nice job of keeping me in the loop with any updates. Great customer service! Removal of old flooring was done in 1 day. Looking back, I would have proactively covered the areas where tile was removed with plastic as there was a thick layer of dust on everything in those areas. Installation went really nicely! It ran a few days later than previously estimated, but I prefer install meticulously versus quickly. Fernando and his crew were clean, cordial, and handled my furniture with care. In the end, the flooring Quantum provided and installed has completely updated my home and I am very happy with the look. I would highly recommend Quantum if you are looking for great customer service and high quality material/installation.

This excellent company just finished installing our third wood floor and they could not have been more professional, punctual, and diligent in their work. The men arrived on time and their intellect and industry was exceptional. I can not find praise high enough for this company and its employees. We had to reschedule the installation several times owing to the incompetence of our general contractor and they accepted those changes with celerity and equanimity. Don't even bother searching Angie's List for your flooring needs for it is impossible that another company could come witin a galactic distance of their abilities

They said they don't do tile, that they only do wood flooring. They said they would have to install 350 square feet minimum which is entirely too much for what we needed. They told me that vinyl flooring was more commercial than residential.

Thank you to Nick and his team for a wonderful experience. Nick worked with me for almost a year as I reasearched my options (5+bids) and finalized my decision on replacing my hardwood floors throughout my home. I found Quantum Floors via Angie's List. Nick was professional from the first time visiting my home to provide the initial estimate. He was always attentive and provided an immediate response to my endless phone calls, visits to his store and middle of the night emails with crazy questions, clarifications and changes. This was a very large investment for me as a single homeowner so I really wanted to make sure I was making the right decision on the floor type and installation process. Nick is an expert in flooring and I appreciated his on-going feedback and expertise. I learned so much about the process and what the best solution was for my particular 1947 old florida home. I chose a wood floor that Nick did not carry at the time but I really wanted to work with him and his team so he was able to special order my amazing key west style floor and I love it! I truly can't thank Nick and his team enough for their outstanding professionalism and customer service from beginning to end. The installation team was excellent. They were friendly, on time, ensured my questions were answered along the way and their attention to detail was amazing. Nick was there every day to make sure everything was to my expectation. I was unable to work with the initial cost estimate and Nick and Jr got together to review and found ways to meet my budget without sacrificing quality! A great job was done by their installer, who took the time to explain his work and what to look out for when doing the baseboards.

Recently had engineered wood flooring installed in my home by a crew from Quantum Floors. I can give nothing but rave reviews on this company's efficiency and professionalism. Junior and Nick made the process very simple and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The installers arrived on time every day and completed the job in a shorter time then I expected. Job was completed with great attention to detail. The floors are beautiful and the Quantum exceeded my expectations on every level. I definately plan to hire these guys again for future flooring installs and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality flooring installation at a very competitive rate.

If you are looking for new wood/laminate floors, look no further. My experience with Quantum Floors could not have been any better. On my initial visit to their new showroom (which is awesome) I met Nick and Fernando. Nick showed us options for laminate flooring and answered all our questions. The large samples on the walls helped make the decision easy for us. The crew showed up on time on the scheduled date and the job was completed within the estimated time frame. The installers were professional, courteous, and skilled. Fernando stopped by everyday of the install to make sure everything was going smoothly. They worked hard all day and made sure to clean up before they went home for the day. We could not be happier with our new floors.

Quantum were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. The product was excellent quality, they were professional, on time, pleasant and hardworking.

The floors are beautiful, and were expertly installed. Installation took more time than was originally estimated. The company did its best to deal with the delay in a way that accomodated our needs. All-in-all, a top-notch job.
