very high pressure sales technique
Description of Work: I am wanting a hurricane proof sliding door and two hurricane proof windows. They came out and measured. I told them EXACTLY what I wanted and they refused to give me a quote via email, phone or fax. They would only give the quote in person to BOTH me and my husband. For whatever reason they would not give it to just one of us. It seems like a very high pressure sales technique. It is a shame because I would have probably used them. I was only starting out with one slider and two windows; the rest of my house will be done also, in time.

Paradise regrets that our procedure for presenting to and educating our customers was misunderstood by this homeowner. It has everything to do with efficiency and absolutely nothing to do with one person of either gender having legal rights to enter into an agreement. As in most significant investments which couples typically make together it is much more efficient to schedule one visit, showcase all products and answer all questions for when they do decide to move forward. To guard against inappropriate behavior and/or dialogue our call center is under constant supervision. We apologize that our quality control efforts in determining why a homeowner would rather us not visit them was perceived as harassment.

Customers Review: I contacted Paradise Exteriors LLC for a quote. The appointment was changed by them three (3) times before it actually occurred. The salesman was personable, informative and the product superb, but the sales tactics were disappointing. The salesman never wanted to discuss the numbers until I guessed what the quote would be. I told him just to give me the price, but he insisted I told him what my best guess would be. In the end, the quote was super high and didn't want to leave anything in writing. I then contacted another company for a quote, and the gentleman T.C. showed up and measured the windows, but after two (2) weeks, no quote. When I goggled his name, I found that surprisingly that he represented two (2) other companies and one of them, Stomtightwindows, as well as Paradise Exteriors LLC have the same address. Not sure what to make of that, but "Caveat Emptor". Also, I get calls every week from someone representing Paradise Exteriors, LLC giving me a follow up call about my experience. It is the same guy every week and the most unprofessional person I have ever spoken to on the phone. What's is worse, he asks me about details about my quote fishing for information about it. The last time I spoke to him, he hung up on me when I refused to give him any details and told him I didn't have any more information. Obviously is a company hired to follow up not connected to Paradise Exteriors, LLC. Terrible business model. This experience has made me not judge used cars salesmen so harshly. Company's Response: Our company does not and has never employed anyone in any department named T.C. nor do we have any “Follow Up Company”. Paradise Exteriors recently moved into larger office space that was previously occupied by another window company and that may be what was referenced. We are somewhat shocked at the evaluation that the gentlemen gave the caller as he consistently scores at the top of our team on Quality Control Surveys. We understand our customers have busy lives and apologize that the appointment was moved. Our representatives are giving their previous appointment as much time as they request, just as we would for this homeowner, which occasionally leads to longer appointment times than scheduled for. We appreciate that this homeowner was impressed with our products and rated them superb. Our mission is always that all aspects of the experience are superb as well.
