Various communication problems with staff; took four months from order to installation.

I was on a very short turn around time and they were very understanding and were able to do the job in the amount of time I needed. My daughter used this company for her whole house replacement of windows and front door. They did an outstanding job.

We first met with Paradise Exteriors thru a Delray ArtShow exhibit. We then called them to discuss replacing a bedroom window in home. We subsequently made two additional purchases including this final contract for three additional windows. The product is quite nice and the owners, Dan and Tina, have been responsive to each install on different levels. The challenge on this last install was the long delay in install itself. Due to a personal issue with manufacturer and Paradise we waited 19 weeks from deposit until install. HOA and City Permits all flowed thru without issue. We finally received the windows and happy with install (they did crack window marble however). I really believe they are going thru some changes currently, hope they come out a better company, and back to their original values and commitment. Admitting error formally and trying to make some resolve would have moved our overall rating even higher. We felt like we were too small a job overall and a nuisance when long delay needed demand for final resolution.

The person I spoke to on the phone was courteous and promptly set an appointment for me. He insisted that both my husband and I be present and prices would be presented during the proposal. Bill the sales person arrive at my house on time and was (so I thought) courteous. Upon finding out that my husband was not home he seemed to be eager to end the appointment and come back at a later time. I told him that I have a construction background and that I have hired and managed many contractors in the past, including the window company that replaced all the windows in my previous home. My husband knows nothing about construction, windows, contractors, etc and is admittedly not a handy guy. That did not seem to matter to him and he hurried to end the appointment without showing me samples, reviewing prices, measuring, etc. I had another quote that I had received that had measurements for all of the windows that I offered to send to him in order to assist with the measurements to possibly move the process along. He gave me his card and left. Hours later I received a response that he MEANT to send to one of his co-workers but accidentally sent TO me ABOUT me, stating the following: Mark this is from the 6pm. Her husband went to heat game he was no show. Enclosed is a price she had from a contractor that did her last home. I told her we do business face to face with husband and wife. She had a cranky baby and offered to send me the sizes so I would not have to measure. All she is looking for is a good price. Is it worth our time to even go back? So essentially, to this company, I am useless unless the MAN of the house is home to help his poor helpless, brainless wife make a decision. And God forbid someone was "looking for a good price", what savvy shopper wouldn't want a good price? I responded to his insulting email and let him know that no, it would not be worth his time to come back because I would NEVER give my money to a company such as this. Incredibly unprofessional and insulting. At least it helped me with my decision- I will be giving my $15,000 cash to the other company.

It didn't. I was given a quote of just under$21k. Paradise called to mention they were told by their salesman that I was "disappointed" in the price and they offered to come out to "re-measure." I wanted to know why they need to remeasure, and they mentioned they want to make sure everything was "up to snuff." I agreed to let them come out again under the condition that I did not want another presentation and I did not intend to sign a contract that day. I was assured by their "quality assurance department" that I did not have to sit through another presentation. When I reiterated that I did not intend to sign a contract that day, I was immediately put on hold and transferred to someone else. Although, I do not remember her name, she kept pressuring me to find out if the revised price fit into my budget, would I be willing to move forward? I reiterated again that I did not intend to sign a contract that day as I'm getting other estimates. I pretty much told her that I was being honest and upfront and I expected the same treatment from them, and if they intended to come out and have me sign a contract, that wasn't going to happen. Obviously that was the intention of the "re-measure" which was to get their sale. They told me if I would like them to come out after I get other estimates, to give them a call. Well, that is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. As it turns out, I know of a few other people that were getting estimates from Paradise at the same time as I was. They complained of the same sales tactics. Very poor.

I called for a quote and was told it wasn't enough work to be worth their time. I've been getting quotes all over town and to be told that several thousands of dollars was not worth it to them... Poor business acumen.

very professional service from the estimate to the installation. They were punctual, professional, and courteous throughout the whole process. We had high impact, energy efficient windows installed for the whole house, and are extremely happy with the result. The windows are high quality which were made after measurements were taken. They obtained a permit effortlessly without our help, and then preceded with the installation which only took a few hours. Amazing!! We had several estimates before choosing Paradise, and are so happy we choose Paradise. They simply care about the customer. Our windows are beautiful, high impact and, energy efficient. There is no question on who to choose for window replacement in our mind. Paradise Exteriors is the answer. Thank you so much, Paradise Exteriors!!!

Salesman was in time to a Saturday appt, which I appreciate. He was nice a cordial at first making small talk, but quickly went into a sale script pitch. When we got to a point of seeing the product he insisted that I have my wife before he showed me. I told him my wife was with my kids and not feeling well, but he insisted I get here or he would have to leave. He then called his sales manager and told him that my wife couldn't see the presentation. The sales manager said he had to reset the appt when she was available. In respect to my time I had my wife come and hear the pitch. He showed the product to us and then asked us if we were ready today to purchase. When I told him I was getting multiple quotes he started packing up. He then told us that he wasn't going to give us a quote because he didn't have time, as he had other clients ready to make a decision today. I said fine. He packed up and left after using up 1.5 hours of my time. My friend who used them said they gave a great price and the install was great. He said he didn't experience this situation at all, but I see other reviews who experienced this hard sell approach. Company says this is family owned, but approach seems more big store approach. Also it looks like many responses to negative reviews here are canned. I'd appreciate a call from the owner. If they want to come measure and provide a quote with no other sales bs I'd be willing to let them quote as their product seems very good. I won't talk to that sales guy again though.

Salesman produced on the spot an incredibly high estimate with a "car salesman" extremely pushy and rude approach making multiple attempts to get the deal executed on the spot.... No capability whatsoever to respond to any technical question and no capability to produce references of work done in other location or even the exact type of product that he intended to sell me.

We contacted 4 companies to get estimates on new impact windows for our home.? I contacted Paradise Exteriors via the message option on Angie's List; I gave my name and number for recontact.? After a few days and no response through the message option or by phone, I called the company.? We set an appointment for a representative to come to our house.? The day of the appointment, someone from the company called me back in response to my request on Angie's List; I told them I had already called and set an appointment.? During the initial?phone call with Paradise Exteriors, they asked?if anyone else?who would be part of decision making would be home, and I told them that yes my boyfriend,?who is co-owner of the home would be there.? They asked his name and phone number, and after that, they put all the information under his name and only called his number.? I have no problem with him being listed first as a contact, but it seems that they lost my name in the process, and I am the one who manages the money, makes the calls, and organizes our schedules.??This did not really work for us.? The?appointment was set for?6pm.? We planned to have our dinner?after the appointment,?so at?6:45 pm, when no one had shown up, I called the company.? They told me that the representative?ran over?time at a previous appointment, but he was on the way.? The representative showed up about 8pm,?after we finally sat?down for dinner.? He acted like we were wasting his time by having dinner when he was trying to talk to us.? We knew exactly what we wanted in windows, but the representative kept telling us that they could not get what we wanted; he stated that only vinyl windows, the more expensive option, were available.? We asked him to estimate the job based on what they could get that was as?close to what we wanted as possible.? He wanted to show us samples,?and we again told him what we wanted and asked for an estimate.? He finally left, saying he would come back.? We were very unhappy with his "hard sale" techniques. A few days later,?my boyfriend got a message that the representative would be back in the evening for our appointment, which we did not schedule.? We called the company back, but no one answered, so we left a message that we did not need the representative to come back; we said he had already taken measurements and was supposed to?give us an estimate.? Later that evening, the representative showed up,?saying he was there to show us window samples.? We again told him what we wanted and asked if he could get an estimate. He seemed to not hear us at all and went into a very long explanation of why vinyl windows were the only thing possible.? I interrupted him after several minutes, and politely explained that if he could provide an estimate on the work we wanted and not what he wanted to sell,?we would appreciate it, but if not, we already had three other estimates.? Since that day, my boyfriend has received several calls from Paradise Exteriors.? Some have?gone to voicemail, but he answered the phone and?spoke to someone twice.? Both times he explained that we just needed an estimate and not for?a sales person to come back to our house.? He told them that if they could not provide an estimate to please stop calling us.? Both times, the person he spoke to said she would make a note of that.? We also had a person in an orange safety vest come ring our doorbell one afternoon.? They identified themselves as working with Paradise Exteriors, and they said they were?there to?talk about replacing our windows.? We told the person that someone had already come out to our house, and we were just waiting for the estimate.? They?seemed to not know this, and they went on down the street ringing doorbells.? We still do not have an estimate from this company, and thankfully we have not had any calls in the past day from them.? We will NOT be doing business with this company, and I urge anyone who is thinking of calling them to beware.???

They were completely professional and prompt; from the salesman, Tony, who came to the house to the office personnel and the installers. This was such an easy experience we've ever had with any company. They took care of everything; from the permit to the HOA approval. We were called to confirm appointments with Tony, then the measurement appointment and then the installation. The installers called the morning of installation to let us know they were on their way. And the windows and the slider are beautiful. We will be recommending Paradise Exteriors to everyone we know.

Got a call, salesman arrived on time, showed us what they had to offer, warranty, etc. ?Decided right at that time as we had other estimates to go with Paradise. Signed the contact...1/2 down per contract. ?Got phone call as the salesman said we would for someone to come and measure, which they did....again on time. Another call that our windows were ready and given an install date. ?2 of the funniest, friendliest ?guys shows up on time, cover my hardwood floors and the demolition began. ?3 huge living rooms and 3 half moons windows out....3 huge beautiful solid glass ( no more 6 over 6) as well as the 3 half moon go in...no mess...no fuss.... If anyone on the Treasure Coast or further down south need replacement windows, you need to call them. ?We are so happy, we called them back and now we're waiting for our master bath window to be made. ?These people are professionals, family owned business so you know they are not going anywhere. ?I have recommended them to several friends, one of which should be getting her new bedroom windows shorty. The sales people, the installers, billing people could not be more helpful. ?We are extremely happy with our new beautiful windows.

Everything went smoothly and without any problems. They guys that came are very friendly, professional and respectful. They did the work in a few short hours when I had my day just for them to do the work. Now i have to find something to occupy the rest of my day. It was done at a great price. I will not disclose the price.

Installers called when on their way. Were courteous, quiet,efficient. They covered furniture with sheet and floor with plastic, swept and vacuumed once the job was done. Showed me how to operate the new windows. re-installed the blinds and left everything clean. Very, very happy. Will recommend the company to anyone.

I had a 2pm appt and they didn't show up. Manager said he would check appt and call me back. No return call. I called again and they asked to reschedule. Lady asked if I was flipping the house?! She said Home Depot would be cheaper and I should try them. Great customer service. Approximate cost of service 20000.00

After the contractor came and took measurements we were scheduled for install over 2-3 day period. The property is a duplex so they started by removing the windows on one side of the property and installed the windows, 2nd day for the other side, they cleaned up after themselves, we have dogs so the grounds had to be thoroughly checked. 3rd day a guy came out and did the concrete patch work around the sliders and the final day before inspector came out another guy came out to double check that ALL the windows were in good working order and easy to open, showed us how to clean the rails and the windows. LHP code inspector checked the Impact windows/sliders, all went very well. I would highly recommend this company.

In the beginning we were told that no job was to be started until all windows were in stock. They requested half the money up front. After payment we did not have any communication with Paradise Exteriors for months. I actually had to call them and ask what was going on because we had not been told anything. We were told that the months of delay on starting our job was due to three of our windows are unique shapes (one bread box and 2 semi-circles ). The day before install I was called and asked if they could come install the windows they had in stock and then the final 3 windows would be installed later. I said yes because I had already taken the day off work. Promptly at 0830 four men arrived and began removing my existing windows. They removed ALL of the windows in my house (except the missing three) at the SAME time. Then a new guy drives up with a trailer containing the windows. This guy tells me that I need to pay him the commencement fee of 25% of the job and keep reminding me that commencement ?means before we start?, to which I replied that I would like to look at my contract to confirm this. Apparently this panicked the man and he called Paradise Exteriors to remind me that commencement means before they start and to assure me that is what is in the contract. The next time I see this man he, once again, he tells me that the commencement money needs to be paid prior to starting the job. I finally tell him that HE was NOT here when they started so I could NOT have paid him prior to the commencement / starting of the job. He left soon thereafter and had one of the other men request the money from me at the end of the day. SO the house is open and the install begins. Each window had to have deep holes drilled into the concrete block and this produces A LOT of concrete dust. Since my house now has NO windows the breeze carries and coats EVERYTHING in my house with concrete dust (except the furniture closest to the windows which was covered with plastic). By this time I am REALLY wishing I had waited to do the entire install at once because it dawns on me that this will all happen again. The works were very nice and did their best to clean up their mess (including broken glass from window removal). Upon the workers departure my wife and I cleaned and mopped the entire house, twice. So the second install happens like a month later and I ask the two (different) guys to please do one window at a time. They are kind and do as I asked. These gentlemen are only able to install 2 of the 3 windows. They tell me that they were given bad intel and did not bring a ladder tall enough or scaffolding short enough to do the install safely. The request if they can leave the final window and all of the molding in my garage. I do not like it (because I have 3 children and accidents happen) but I finally allow it. A few more weeks go by, but the delay this time is ME going on a family vacation. Upon my return I called and asked if we could move the finial install forward by one day. After a little phone tag I am told that the installers will arrive Thursday 01/21/2016 after noon around 2pm but that they will call when they are on their way. The day of install I have company in town. I finally call Paradise at 13:40 as ask when I can expect them? I am told that they have been trying to contact me for 2 hours. I get a bit upset and ask where are they calling? (later my wife tells me that while in the store my phone was ringing and she forgot to tell me) . I call Paradise Exteriors on 01/25/2016 and I am told that the schedule person is not available. I request that they remove my home phone number from my file so that ALL calls will come directly to me on my cell phone. I call Paradise Exteriors on 01/26/2016 at 10:24AM the scheduler answers the phone and tells me to hold on for a minute. A minute later a man comes on the line and tells me that she has been pulled away and tells me that she will call me back in 1 hours. I have received no call and today is 02/01/2016. I am still waiting for this install to be finished and Paradise Exteriors to call me back.

The presentation itself was thorough and informative, but it was followed by a hard pitch to close the deal that day. The price, handwritten on a booklet and shown to us, started at 28,000 but after a series of special deals and 'cooperative agreements' the number was closer to 17,000 if we took the deal that day, which we declined. We received numerous calls after that trying to get us to meet with the sales manager to work out a deal. I repeatedly asked for a written proposal so we could compare all of the proposals we were obtaining, but I was told by one representative that they don't provide written proposals so that the proposal can't be used by another company to undersell Paradise. I should note that another representative disputed that and assured me that we would get a written proposal, which we never did. We got calls from several different numbers at all times of day, each of them using a hard sell script. When it became clear that we weren't going to get a written proposal and we had gotten several proposals from other companies, I asked them to stop calling.

We did have some bumps but all was taken addressed to our satisfaction. The doors are beautiful and all the workmen were great. The workers seem to be higher than average with regards to professionalism and respect of customer. All work completed and very happy with the end result.

The presentation was 3 hours long. All I wanted was an estimate. They tried to solicit us for good reviews by offering discounts. This didn't seem like a good practice. I will not be using them.

The installers Jeff and Tim were very professional and did excellent work. I will definitely ask for them by name when we replace more windows. The job took about 6 hours and I was amazed that it wasn't noisy or disruptive at all.

Best price and did a great job. Highly recommend them!!

Great price and good product. Only complaint was it took several months longer than what was quoted. However it was a very large job so it was somewhat understandable.

The service was great and my verticals are pretty however I thought the quality of the blinds was going to be better. So far nothing is broken or vent. I will recommend.

The installation went very well, faster and more efficiently than I thought it would. Their installers were wonderful! They were polite, happy doing their job and continually tried to keep their area clean. I am very happy with my new window and doors. They're beautiful! Now, on the other hand, I'm not happy with how long it took to GET the doors and window. I was told 6-8 weeks, but every time I checked it seemed to keep getting pushed back Delivery ended up being 13 weeks! I finally realized that one of the "new" styles of door that I had ordered was delaying the delivery. I wish that I had known that to begin with, I may have selected something else. What I ordered is great, but wow, 13 weeks is a long time! I know the fine print says that it might take longer than anticipated, but I wish the salesman had told me that up front. On another note, once the sale was made, I never received any more calls from the salesman, including a follow up to the installation. No one from the company has contacted me to see how it went. The installers did note one punch list item which I am sure will be taken care of, but a follow up call would have been nice to make sure I was happy! Overall I would highly recommend this company, just a few glitches that I'm not used to in this line of work. In all fairness, I'm in the construction industry and expect a lot from my sub-contractors.....
