My Cousin Vinny's Handyman Service

I was pleased with the majority of the work. Unfortunately, they did not do a second coat of paint on the television unit so it looks unfinished. They were very polite and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I thought they were very expensive.

Vinny and his men came in and quickly did the job to my satisfaction. Completely professional and knowledgeable. He did quality work and that's saying a lot since I am a very meticulous person. I will use him in the future and recommend him to anyone looking to fix home repairs.

The comment by the painter to me , yelling in my driveway ...she is trying to make a 30 year old house look new. My house is nice , and now we have paint all over our garage floor and tile floors in our house. Including my bedroom NEW nightstand when vinny knocked over a gallon of paint. They came with no painting supplies and went into my garage and used ours without asking. We were told they had a truck full of tools and supplies. Everytime they left we had to clean up paint drops and mess, Our molding was only painted on front and not sides......really??????

He obviously did not know how to properly place tiles and smeared grout where the tiles did not meet - leaving 1/2" to 1" grout in several areas, lumps of grout on the windowsill, and silicone (which he spread on with his fingers) in wide sweeps outside the shower doors. Since he decided to make the shower stall larger than the bathtub had been, my toilet now sits too close to the shower. He suggested that I sit sideways to compensate. He drilled a crooked hole in the tiled wall to install the handle to turn the shower on, therefore, the handle does not stand straight. After one very stressful month, I had to fire him. He still had not installed the plumbing under my new sink. I had to hire a glass specialist to try, in vain, to fix the shower doors. I had a painter put a better coat of paint on the walls that were not well covered.hired a plumber to finish what he had not done. I did not pay him the final $500 which got him very angry. His parting words were "I'll take care of you." There was nothing done properly and his attitude and constant arguments were very unprofessional. The pictures Vinny displays as his own are false are definitely not of his work. Do not hire this incompetent handyman! I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

He came on time, did a meticulous job and did all the work in four days. I have no complaints. He may underestimate the time he may need to complete a job, but given what he did for me I cannot complain. I still have many small projects that need to be completed and I will not hesitate to hire him.

I really thought Vinny was a great guy and well as George the man he had working for him. He showed up on time and made sure to call me the night before to confirm. I needed quite a few things done and he seemed to know how to do it all. It was easy to have one person be skillful at all different things. I felt he was fair with the pricing and he explained why certain things were priced the way they were. He seemed to really care and wanted to be accurate. I left the house while he was working and he was trustworthy. Felt fine to leave him in the house. I would use him again for sure and I would recommend him to friends.

Everything is great absolutely awesome! !!!!

Vinny said all the facia board need was to be patched, he did so. after 1 month patches bubbled off and still not resolved after 4 months of excuses.

They were exactly on time and very professional and pleasant. They were extremely neat and clean. They finished the job in a timely fashion. I would recommend them to everyone I know. I would definitely use them again.

Vinny was very flexible as my tenant changed his install appointment last minute.

Vinny was super responsive! He did work on my home a few weeks earlier (a lot of "honey-do" stuff), but I needed him quickly when our water heater began leaking. He came right away, gave me a reasonable estimate - including replacement cost for the WH - then showed up when he said he would and fixed everything! Based on this job and the work he completed several weeks earlier (which included re-screening my patio, installing several fans, fixing a few light switches, installing a new garbage disposal, etc) - I highly recommend Vinny. He's da best.

Vinny was a pleasure to work with. He was on time, provided a detailed estimate and made important recommendations that we had not considered. His crew was equally polite and considerate and this made a significant difference. Oftentimes the owner can be competent but his workers much less so. Vinny was here doing the work along WITH his crew. He spoke kindly to them and there was simply a good overall "vibe." Vinny called a few days later to make sure we were happy with his work and reminded me that he would be happy to return if there was something that had been overlooked or not done to my satisfaction. We did not need him to come back but we will certainly have him back in the future when other repairs are necessary. He is honorable and honest and a real delight to work with.

This was my first time using Vinnie's Handyman Service so I needed to get to know him. He agreed to come to my home, inspect the project and give me an estimate. In the course of our interview he explained what he thought would be the best approach to completing the work. His proposal seemed the most suitable so we agreed to a contract which he wrote up. Vinnie had to purchase some of the material for the project so I gave him a check for that amount. The contract also specified when he would begin and finish the project. He adhered to the times specified on the contract and was very punctual, completing the work within the times specified.
