They came in and gave me a quote. They were less than other companies that I had interviewed. They seemed very trustworthy. They cleaned the tile and then they stained the grout and sealed the grout. They were very clean in their work and left my home spotless.

We had an excellent overall experience. The crew arrived on time each day. I was told what would be done each day. They cleaned up everyday after they finished their work. They were supposed to take 2 1/2 weeks and they were finished in one week time. They did an excellent job breaking up the old tile with a minminum amount of dust. I was expecting the worst with the dust and I was impressed how they kept it contained. The new tile was laid professionally and correctly. I even changed my mind about what design I wanted for my entry way. This was no problem. They worked with me until I was happy with the resiult. THe designer Lisa was excellent to work with. She has a wonderful eye for color and design. She return my many calls promptly and was always available. Ken, the owner, came out many times during the installation and to see the final result. I would recommend KC Tile to anyone who is thinking about tile replacement.

Our experience with them was fine. The price was fair. Their service was good. They were quick. They moved the furniture and put everything back where it belonged. Three guys came in and they were all very professional. We were happy with them.

They were fairly priced. They're fabulous. They got it down so quickly and it's really high quality. I've been pleased ever since. It's great and they're fantastic.

Gave and estimate which we excepted and did the work as promised with machines. Did not do hand brushing of the grout which would have cost much more. We were very satisfied with the results.

I was able to make an appointment for an estimator to come to my home very quickly. After the estimate was giving to me same day, a KC tile manager followed up with me to answer any questions and schedule an appointment. I was able to schedule an appointment that was convenient for me. The two-person crew was prompt, professional. They completed the job and were very helpful. KC is very prompt and professional. Couldn't have been more pleased and the grout is beautiful! Looks brand new!!!

The overall experience with KC Tile Restoration was excellent. Very responsive, punctual and curteous. You will have to wait a couple of weeks from the time you get the quote to have the work done, because they stay pretty busy, but it's totally worth the wait. They'll try their best to accomodate your special requests though. They did an excellent job and my floor looks as if it were brand new. Extremely happy with the results, and will definitely recommend them and use them in the future.

The two men were on time. It was a long day. They worked from 9:30-12:30. They went on a lunch break and finished the work at 4:30. The warranty is 10 years on the color seal. There was an incident with my phone wire being cut. I called the office and explained what happened. As a result, the owner brought some more phone wire. The owner is genuine and honest.

Three technicians performed the work. They prepared by protecting the woodwork and finished in one day.

The service techs were courteous, professional and very neat. The floor moldings and lower cabinetry were sealed with plastic to protect them. Furniture and area rugs were carefully removed and then replaced to the correct areas upon completion. When the shower grout and/or caulk was being replaced, I was asked to look at several colors to be sure it would match the existing ones. I will continue to use KC Tile without hesitation and have already recommended the company to neighbors. My floors look beautiful and KC is a great find!

They were very professional from the beginning to the end. I was very happy with the look of my floors when they were done. I have shiny white tile that is probably 19 years old and when these guys finished, it looked brand new! I was shown how to cover chips in my tile, just in case I got anymore and was given a jar of the colored grout sealer. They also gave me a gallon of tile floor cleaner as part of their service. I definitely recommend this company!

Quote & work order process - In my initial call, I connected with someone right away and set up an appointment. The estimate/sales person, Rob, was very helpful and was more knowledgeable than the other vendors I got quotes from. I had a couple follow up questions that took several calls to get an answer on, but it was worth it since the company seemed to clearly have the most experience in what I wanted to have done. Work completion - The team assigned to the job were knowledgeable and good, but it was clear they wanted to get the job done fast and not necessarily to top quality. The job took longer than they expected (and was scheduled) so I can see how that caused the team frustrations. The grout took longer to dry, leaving a chalk all over the floor that was then difficult to clean & polish since it kept coming up. This required several calls to the owner, which was unpleasant and made me feel uncomfortable, but the owner offered to come out the next day and make sure it was right. Once the owner saw the problem, he understood the cause and remedied it. It was not that the team did a poor job, but they were trying to do it in a day and since the grout was not completely dry, they couldn't clean and polish the floor correctly. I really respected the owner for coming out to the house on a Saturday to see the problem and make sure it was right. I was disappointed that it had to get to that level, and that the working team didn't address it the way they should off the bat. Pricing was good, but was not the best. They did review my other quote and got very close to it. The minor price difference was worth it to me since they were the most knowledgeable in what needed to be done. I will definitely use them again, but hope the job is better planned next time.

Professional, quick, clean service.

This was a great experience! The workers came as promised. They moved furniture, cleaned and then color sealed all grout. It looked so good we had them color seal the laundry room also. Floor literally looks new-- unbelieveable!

Based on high reviews on Angies list we selected KC Tile company after two other competitive quotes. We had wanted our granite counters sealed as well and they said they used a two coat Dupont process which although 3 times more expensive than the other two quotes, we felt was the best sealer offered of the three estimates. Our marble floors were only two years old and in good condition with the exception of a dead area where a christmas tree stand had dulled the high gloss finish and some very fine scratches visible in the traffic areas. The gentleman that gave us the quote said it would only take one day and the workers would apply two coats of Dupont granite sealer 40 minutes apart, and it came with an impressive warranty (from Dupont). I was a little concerned because having considered doing the Dupont sealer myself I had read the applications should be 24 hours apart. We decided as they were doing the floors better to have the counters done as well by professionals and I trusted they would do it right. This was a huge mistake. On the day of the job, as others have reviews have mentioned only two workers showed up around 9am though they were supposed to be there earlier. They had a checklist for any damages prior to the work and appeared polite and knowledgable. We went over the areas to be done and found nothing. The kitchen remodel is new and walls painted about 6 months earlier so it made me feel they were at least consciencous. I should have looked the initial paperwork over closer as the adjuster wrote the wrong amount in the total line on my contract which I would have caught then. They were moving some of my furniture outside at the time and it was distracting. Prior to their arrival I had moved and emptyed everything posible into our two downstairs bedrooms so they could focus on the floor. This proved a waste of time. They worked on the floors which when wet honed creates a large slurry of water and marble dust and despite taping a thin strip of plastic around the edging slung white drops over my walls, kitchen cabinets and entertainment center and sliding glass doors The foreman then applied one coat of sealer to my granite counters (which I paided close attention to as it was 800 dollars). I walked out to garage for approx 5 minutes and returned to see them buffing the counters. I asked what about the second coat and they replied "oh, we put it on", this was obviously not true. I also said I was told it was supposed to be 40 minutes between applications per our KC Tile estimate. They shugged and said they were already late and should have had more people, they removed the plastic and began appling sealer to the still wet marble and slinging it everywhere. Around 6 or 7 pm they stopped and said they were done, the floors looked terrible. I said this was unacceptable at which point they handed me the phone to talk with their "boss". I got the feeling this was an oft practiced manuever. Kenny apoligized and said the adjuster had made a mistake and should have told me two days and he would have to "bump someone" in two days once the marble had dried. I expressed concern over the mess, single coat of Dupont sealer and he said he would come personally on Friday, not to worry. If you know wet marble can't be sealed and polished why ever say one day? I doubt this was an accident. I asked him what about all my furniture currently outside, which the guys were suggesting I leave there till Friday but the manger made them carry most back in. Friday the crew showed up with the owner and 5 workers including the the original "two guys". I showed Kenny they had taken a chunk out of the cherry cabinet in the kitchen and he offered to get me carpender. I told him I would take care of it but was very stressed over the floor covered in swirl marks and only one coat of sealer on the counters. He talked with the original guy , came back and said he says he put on two coats, I told him he couldn't have to which he replied dont worry you have a Dupont guarentee. I was not happy considering it cost $800 and was done in 15 minutes but I was much more worried they had permanently damaged my floors. Kenny showed me a small swirl free single 24 x 24 section of floor they had done (in his presence) saying it was only the sealer and they would take care of it then he left. I will say the workers were polite and appeared to work hard. They opened all my windows and doors as the sealer smelled (I had a house full of mosquitos) but that was nothing compared to the mess that was left. I would point out the more obvious marks scuffs, splatter and they would make a half hearted attempt to wipe it off but I can attest it does not come off easily. I ended up painting over most of the worse. Come dark (and bugs) they were still going at it but the floors looked much better. Anywhere the floor buffers with steel wool pads could not reach was still bad and they tried to touch up here and there but it was getting later. It is impossible to keepp track of five guys but I recall clearly one worker racing around with a microfiber floor mop sweeping everything out my front door and out my sliding glass doors in the rear. The significance of this was lost on me in the general rush and confusion to get all the furniture back. At what I thought was the end of the job* the original worker who had me sign paperwork, gave me the bill that was significantly higher than my total on the estimate. Apparently the adjuster had not added up the counter correctly. I again was handed the cellphone to talk to "the boss" . I told Kenny the floor looked better but it was now very dark out and I was unhappy about the mistake on the bill and all the problems. We argued about it till he said he would take off $150 for "my trouble". I paid the guys and thought lesson learned. *The next morning I was in shock, besides splatter, scuff marks, chipped paint and and an incredible amount of steel wool dust I found the steel wool they had swept out the front and back doors had left large rust stains everywhere on my new stamped concrete driveway. The tracks of the sliding glass door were full of it and I spent 3 solid days cleaning, painting, and crawling around with rust remover trying to save my driveway. On top of that it was obvious they missed multiple areas of white swirl marks. Kenny did send two guys out to touch up the floor and it was the same guys so I showed them all the rust on my back slab and patio. They said call Kenny and he would send some guys out again. I was so fed up at this point I said just go you have done enough. During clean up I also found four broken electrical outlet covers in the two rooms they had done. I have plenty of photos if your interested. This should have been a 3 day job and I think they may not have been so rushed and careless. I can still see fine swirl marks in the floor (new) but is probably sealer they inadequetely polished. I will wait to have the next company do my floors properly. The owner contacted me for information from the sealer kit the guys forgot and I responded with that information also saying I was extremely unhappy with the work. He responded "Great, thanks" so I'm guessing he did not read the whole message but who knows. I would have no recourse but pay someone to do all the clean up and repair if I was elderly or couldn't spare the time from work. It was a nightmare. I will never use this company again and warn others to read between the lines on the other reviews, the hints are there. I was fooled by their good rating. Not again. John Casey

23 tiles tented or popped up just before Thanksgiving. We had company coming and KC was super responsive; stuck with their quoted price, and was fast! The pulled up the 23 tiles, prepped floor, relaid old tiles and matched the old grout. Super job; will use them in the future; guaranteed!

They did a great job. Everything they promised, they delivered. Before I could pay them the manager called to make sure I was happy. I used an Angie's coupon and would use them again. The floors look beautiful!

Representative came to provide an estimate. He was prompt. He not only checked the area of the loose tiles but all the tiles throughout the house. No other loose tiles were found. He explained repair options, gave a detailed estimate and scheduled the work for the following week. The repair technician was on time. Explained what hrwas going to do before starting. The repair required movement of a large bookcase, which he and I moved together. He moved all other interfering furniture. The repair work took about 3 hours. He cleaned everything up and marked the area that we were to stay off of for a couple of days. He did not leave until he had me talk with his supervisor to make sure I was satisfied with the work. This is a first class outfit that does what the say they are going to do. I would have liked it to be less costly, but the price was competitive for the work.

The company was very professional in all dealings with on phone 8 person. Workmen called ahead. They were prompt and very neat.

My tiles look better than when I bought the house new. The team was on time and was very efficient. I am amazed at how different it looks!

From the sales Rep to the project supervisor, to the staff, the service, communication, and work was excellent. They did the floors throughout the house and took pride in their work !

The workers that KC Tiles sent to my home were very experienced, polite and efficient. They laid a drop cloth outside the front door and hung plastic sheeting to keep the dust to a minimum. They worked all day and cleaned up the mess. When they came back 2 days later to do the cleanup and grout they applied some sort of acid and cleaned the floors completely before sealing and staining the grout lines throughout. Then they moved all the furniture back into the living room and laundry area. They had checklists of things to sign off on each day and the owner showed up around noon on the second day to check the work. We are sooo pleased with the results! Each time I walk into the living room I have to say to my husband, "Honey, the floors look amazing!" They really do!
