First thing that offended me was that I asked her politely to remove her shoes before entering the house. She flat out refused. I even offered her in house slippers to use. She said she had "kitten heels" on and didn't want to take them off. She finally took off her shoes when we went upstairs where there is carpet and she said that she could "feel the chemicals from walking without her shoes". I had just had professional carpet cleaning in the house and I was really offended. She also kind of got defensive when I began asking for multiple estimates. I am planning to spend $10,000 so I want to make sure I love the fabric. I told her what I was looking for and we measured the windows. She complained about "how awkward" it was to measure the windows. She was in my house for less than thirty-five minutes. Other companies were here for up to two hours. I have five windows that we needed to talk about. Without even going through all the windows I wanted to speak about, she very abruptly began shutting all of her fabric sample books and said that she was going to email me the estimates. I was taken aback, she was the one telling me she was going to leave when we weren't even done with the estimates. I didn't know how she was going to give me a quote for one of the rooms we didn't even talk about. I said I would really appreciate it if I did get an estimate from her and she swore up and down she was going to get in touch with me. I got a call from her the next day and she said the follow up estimate would be delayed. Three weeks passed before I emailed her and she never got back to me. So I got in touch with J.C. Penney customer service who gave me a name and a number of who I needed to speak with. It was Howard Walker at the Boynton Beach Mall. I left two messages and on his machine. Three hours after my second call, I finally received an estimate from Katharin Rothard through email. She said sorry I lost your paperwork and that I am just now getting back to you. I still haven't gotten a call back from Howard.
