Was a pleasant experience. They were professional and honest. They completed the job in a timely manner.

It went well; I thought they were professional. The two gentlemen who came were very nice. They did the job, came promptly and did it right; you can't ask for much more than that.

I called yesterday and they were able to be out here first thing this morning. They arrived on time and quickly assessed the work. They gave me a fair estimate, which I agreed to. They immediately repaired my sliding glass doors from 1963 (vintage...). I'd attempted to repair them a few years ago, and this didn't help matters (I had done some damage). They came in, assessed the work that needed doing, changed out the wheels, repaired the frames, and upgraded the locking mechanism. They were quick, efficient, reasonably priced, and very polite. A+

Only one door was repaired. The rest could not be repaired due to lack of parts. We waited for 4 weeks without that the company tried to update us. When we fially called, they told us that they had an accident with their truck but were still trying to get the necessary parts for the repair of our 4 remaining doors. No new date for the repair was offered.

They responded quickly; gave me an estimate on site and did the work while they were there. I had a good experience with no problems.

We made an appointment for Matt to come look at my sliding glass door at 9:30 am. When he hadn't shown by 10:30 I called him. He said he couldn't find my number but he was having some problems with work being done at his house. Then he said he probably couldn't fix my problem anyway and suggested I call Window Doctor. I thought this whole interaction was extremely unprofessional.

The lock on the sliding glass door out to our patio became jammed. Based on your reports, we called Glide Rite. They came on the next day and were able to fix the lock in a very short period of time. They also sprayed the tracks as well as the hardware on our patio screen door. Matt and his assistant were cordial, efficient, and very professional. We would definitely recommend them to anyone, and we'll certainly use them again when necessary.

The door opens very easily now. There was an issue where it wasn't square in the jamb and they came back and fixed it promptly.

They did everything fine and they were good company. They were little pricier. They were here only for twenty minutes but a little pricey for what they did but they did everything that they said they would do.

My sliding glass door was shot. It was very difficult to open and close.One evening,it even came off the track! I joined Angie's list and searched for sliding glass door repair. I found Glide Rite and saw the positive feedback from all the previous customers. Matt returned my call promptly and was very professional. I feel the price was fair for the work completed. The whole job took about an hour. I would definitely use them again.

Matt and Steve came a few hours after I called. It seems they had an unexpected opening in their schedule. After examining the doors, they gave me an estimate and said they could do the work immediately. The doors presented some challenges because they could not be removed in the normal way and had to be repaired by disassembling them in place. They had the right tools, the experience, and the right parts to fix the doors so that they now roll smoothly and effortlessly.

The sliding door was a joke. It was so hard to push, it was in danger of falling apart. I had put off this work for so long that I thought the door was a goner. I found Glide Rite on Angie's list. (My neighbor had also recommended this firm to me years ago). After an hour of work, the door glides like new. Even six months later it is still a feather touch operation. Don't delay. Fix your door. It's worth it.

These guys are great. Matt answered my call while working on another job nearby. He was at my home within an 1-hour of the call and fixed the door on the same visit. All was done within 2-hours after arriving. The doors were over 15-years old, and I had been told by another company that we should replace them because the design was faulty and would always be a problem. To do so would have been a major expense...and I knew that many of our neighbors have the same set-up that appears to work fine. When I explained the issue to Matt, he was honest in his assessment of the problem. It was obvious that he was looking out for my best interest; not trying to up-sell like the other company. We have been in the house for two years and the doors have never work as good as they do now. I would call these guys back if we ever had another problem.

They were professional and courteous. They worked quickly and cleaned up well after themselves. They did a very good job. Our door slides much, much easier.

AFTER RESEARCHING POSSIBLE COMPANIES IN THE YELLOW PAGES AND ON ANGIE'S LIST, I CALLED GLIDE RITE (ANGIE'S LIST). SPOKE WITH SHAWN (9/17/08) TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. THEY DO NOT CHARGE A SERVICE CALL FEE IN THE EVENT THAT THEIR ESTIMATE IS UNACCEPTABLE UNLIKE OTHER COMPANIES. MATT AND SHAWN ARRIVED EARLY ON SATURDAY (9/20/08) THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. I EXPLAINED THE TROUBLE WE HAD BEEN HAVING WITH OUR SLIDER AND THAT IT MAY EVEN NEED A NEW TRACK AS WELL. UPON CHECKING, THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO CLEAN THE TRACK AND SAND OUT SOME IRREGULARITIES AND THE TRACK WOULD BE FINE. I THINK OTHER COMPANIES WOULD HAVE JUMPED AT THE CHANCE TO REPLACE IT TO ADD REVENUE. THEIR ESTIMATE WAS REASONABLE. THEY COMPLETED THE WORK IN A LITTLE OVER AN HOUR. THEY CLEANED AND SANDED THE TRACK, CHANGED THE ROLLERS ON THE SLIDER AND THE SCREEN DOOR. THEY ALSO CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. OH, THEY ALSO ATTACHED A DOOR STOPPER AND PLACED TWO SCREWS ON THE STATIONARY DOOR FOR ADDED PROTECTION WITHOUT ANY EXTRA COST. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THEM AGAIN OR HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO FAMILY, FRIENDS OR MY CLIENTS.

Matt and 2 other gentlemen showed up exactly at the scheduled time. They gave me an estimate, which was within my budget, and - as promised - did the work right then. I'd been living with a very difficult to open sliding glass door for 6 years! They removed the entire 8' door, replaced the rollers, fixed a bent track, cleaned the entire track, fixed a broken lock, added a handle I requested after the estimate was given, moved a heavy cabinet back into place, and were done in about an hour. I had them check another sliding door and was told it really did not need repair at this time (very impressed by this response). In my opinion, this is the place to call for any sliding glass door problems!

The men were on time, removed the doors and found the problem. They asked for something to cover the white carpet and went to work. I took about 30 mins. and the drive time was about the same from Boyton Beach.

Pretty well, they replaced the track, it was extremely hard work for 2 people, but they did it about 3 hours. It works much better now, it'll never be new unless I replace the whole thing, but for $300 its working much better, and I'd have probably ended up at the doctor's office if I tried it myself.

Matt returned our call quickly and made a Saturday appointment for 9 a.m. He and a helper arrived 15 minutes early. They covered the tile floor for protection. He definitely knew what he was doing and he cleaned up as he went. Matt brought his own industrial vacuum cleaner. He also adjusted the door, made repairs to the track and to the door lock. We are very happy with Matt and his work.
