In Florida, A/C units typicaly last 10-15 years before replacing, and more than likely you will have several costly repairs during that time. I recommend East Coat Mechanical (ECM) for all my A/C needs. During the 14 years I have owned my home, I replaced my A/C twice, purchasing from ECM and getting a REASONABLE price each time, with a clean, neat, professional installation. I also recommend getting ECM's yearly maintenance contract. My first A/C started leaking Freon from the external coil after a few years and required a replacement coil. Without the ECM Service Contract, the repair would have cost approximately 1000 Dollars. EXCEPT, I HAVE the yearly ECM Service Contract for my A/C. So my cost ended up being around 300 dollars, big difference. The yearly contract is the best way to "smooth the bumps" of costly A/C repairs. ECM also offers service contracts on other home appliances as well. I can definitely recommend East Coast Mechanical for A/C purchase and service.

The salesperson, John, came to our home to offer a quote. He was on time, explained all the options available, for the size of of our condominium, and space available for the air handler. He was very knowledgeable, explained why certain options were presented, including changing out the circuit breaker, and answered our questions without hesitation. It was also helpful that is also a service technician. The installers arrived, again on time, getting right to work. They worked together as a team, answering any questions we asked along the way. Upon arrival they covered the interior work area with a heavy duty blanket, and cleaned up all the debris, including vacuuming, when the install was complete.

I have been a customer of EMC for years and always do a great job no matter what I need done, so I was delighted when I was able to add AC to my list of covered items for my house. It was good thing too cause, 2 months later my 12 yr old AC stopped running, I called in the “same day” they came over and fixed the problem. However with summer coming fast I decided to ask them for a quote on purchasing a new AC through ECM. The had Shane in the AC Dept call me within 1/2 hr, he was very patient with me and guided me toward the best AC for my situation. 2 Days later ECM was here with my new unit. Their honesty, professionalism, quick service, and communication was excellent.” Team that did the work was very nice and professional and cleaned up after themselves. I just recently used ECM to install a large outside home air conditioner. The crew showed up and did a magnificent job removing my old one, and installing the new one, in addition to replacing the air handler mechanism located inside my house. The crew was very helpful, and polite, and made certain everything was cleaned up when they finished. They also explained how everything worked and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend them for this type of work.

We have used East Coast Mechanical for over 8 years, and they have preformed with the utmost professionalism and integrity. Just recently they changed our old Air conditioner to a new model and the installation was great!

They talked me into a whole new unit saying the air conditioner was old. Installers were on time and cleaned up their mess OK. Suggest getting at least one additional estimate of the price.

ECM IS GREAT....I’ve been a customer of theirs for 10 years or more. There technicians are knowledgeable, arrive promptly, clean up thoroughly, explain how to use equipment & answer all questions. I recommend them for all your a/c, plumbing, contracts, etc. you can trust them 100%!

We originally called ECM to conduct a tune-up of our air conditioning. During the tune-up it became apparent that we had a cracked pan that was beginning to cause a leak. Since we are new Floridians, and the labels on the AC were not clear it was apparent that it was old. ECM provided us with the option to repair or replace and the cost of each They were very cooperative and after the decision was made to replace they did so very quickly and efficiently. When they left the area where they worked (both inside and outside) was as clean as when they arrived. They will be back to do tune-ups again in a year and we would not hesitate to recommend them to any household that is in need of AC help.
