Great experience with Cool Bear. The customer service staff was friendly and understanding. The tech (Dennis) was ontime and knowledgeable and was able to fix the AC. The repair cost was reasonable. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

The service was exceptional. We were in the midst of a record heat wave and they send someone out right away to get us taken care of. My wife works from home so we had to have the AC running. Elir came out and was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He cleared our drain line and the system was back to functioning. Elir was great.

Easy to work with from initial contact throughout the quoting and replacement process, through billing.

My tenant was having an issue with her condenser pump. Sent cool bear over to look at it. I never heard back from them at all, but tenant said that the tech found no issues and didnt charge me at all, all he did was remove a PVC pipe. 12 hours later my unit was leaking and puddling on the floor. When I called the company and complained their excuse was "well we didnt charge you" . . . They were not able to promise an appointment the next day, instead they were to call me back but unsurprisingly did not. We went with a different company who came out the very next day, diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it on the spot

There was a guy standing outside home depot selling ac maint from "Home Depot". He gave a $10 off coupon and scheduled an appointment. The guy that came over (Jorge Espinoza) had a thick accent and was hard to understand. Anyway, Jorge should have been a photographer, because he took about 30 pictures of the units. And here is the trade secret, he shows you photos of SOMEBODY ELSE'S unit and tells you that it is YOURS. I was told that I do not put My filter in all the way back and showed a distinct line of dirt and clean. I'm not saying I don't have any dust, but when I looked, it was sporadic, not a definitive line of dirt and clean. He then wrote up thousands of dollars of work that needed to be done in unreadable writing AND didn't honor the coupon. Jorge also put a big heavily glued company sticker on the unit without our knowledge, that we had to use gooby gone to take off. There was also no cleaning or clearing of the drain line as promised.

I been with Cool Bear Services since they install my AC unit in 2016 in my 1st home, Today the Hvac is leaking and thanks to John Thome and Desire we have our system running. Always great prices, Service is outstanding and they always backup with excellent customer service. They do take care of Customer like Family, Thanks guys you rock and especially in this time. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. OUR INITIAL CONTACT WITH ANTHONY WENT WELL OR SO WE THOUGHT. HE CAME TO THE HOME ON TIME AND WAS EASY TO DEAL WITH AND VERY PERSONABLE. HE GAVE US THE QUOTE AND WE IMMEDIATELY MOVED FORWARD AND WAS APPROVED TO FINANCE THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF ABOUT $7700. HE TOLD US HE NEEDED TO BRING HIS ENGINEER OUT TO CHECK THE LOCATION OF WHERE WE WERE GOING TO PUT THE AIR HANDLER. WE SPECIFICALLY ASKED HIM IF THE QUOTE INCLUDED REPLACING THE DUCTWORK AND HE SAID THE "DUCTWORK SHOULD BE FINE". HE CHOSE TO NOT INSPECT THE DUCTWORK. ONCE HE CAME BACK WITH HIS ENGINEER MY HUSBAND ASKED HIM WHEN THEY WERE AT OUR HOME WHAT THE FINAL OUTCOME WAS. HE WAS EVASIVE AND DIDN'T GIVE AN ANSWER. THE NEXT DAY, HE SENT A REVISED QUOTE INCREASING THE COST BY $2300 TO REPLACE DUCTWORK AND LABOR. THIS IS THE ULTIMATE BAIT AND SWITCH BECAUSE THEY CLEARLY DID NOT WANT TO DO THE JOB. AFTER WE TOLD THEM WE WOULD BE FINDING ANOTHER COMPANY, WE STARTED GETTING CALLS FROM SOMEONE NAMED STEVE WANTING TO "WIN" BACK OUR BUSINESS. HE CALLED ME AND MY HUSBAND EVERY DAY FOR A FULL WEEK. WE FINALLY DECIDED TO MOVE FORWARD LAST FRIDAY MAINLY BECAUSE WE HAD ALREADY SECURED FINANCING AND DIDN'T WANT TO RUN ANOTHER INQUIRY ON MY HUSBAND'S CREDIT. STEVE OFFERED TO ONLY CHARGE AND ADDITIONAL $1000 INSTEAD OF THE $2300, WE AGREED UPON $900 AND HE CONFIRMED AND SAID HE WOULD CALL US TO SCHEDULE FOR FRIDAY 3/10 & SATURDAY 3/11 AND IT WOULD BE A 2 DAY JOB. THIS CONVERSATION TOOK PLACE ON FRIDAY 3/3. AS OF THURSDAY 3/9, I MADE 5 PHONE CALLS TO STEVE TO CONFIRM THAT WE WERE SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY. HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS AND WE DIDN'T SPEAK UNTIL AFTER 5 PM ON THURSDAY 3/9. HE STATED THAT THE OWNER WOULD NOT HONOR THE DEAL AND FLAT OUT SAID THEY DID NOT WANT TO DO THE JOB. IT TOOK HIM A WEEK TO GIVE US THIS INFORMATION. ONCE AGAIN, THEY WENT BACK ON THEIR WORD AFTER AN AGREED UPON COST. WE LOST TIME FROM WORK ON 2 SEPARATE OCCASSIONS WITH THE INSPECTIONS AND WELL AS TODAY BECAUSE WE THOUGHT WE WERE CONFIRMED FOR THEM TO DO THE WORK TODAY AND WASN'T TOLD UNTIL LAST NIGHT THAT THEY DIDN'T WANT THE JOB. ANTHONY IS INCOMPETENT. STEVE IS A COWARD AND THE OWNER IS ALSO SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THE PROMISES OF HIS COMPANY. I WOULD NOT ALLOW THEM IN MY HOME IF THEY DONATED ALL THE EQUIPMENT AND TIME. PS WE HAVE A REPUTABLE COMPANY COMING TO DO THE WORK AND THE COST IS COMPETITIVE TO THE INITIAL QUOTE THIS PIECE OF **** COMPANY GAVE US. BTW, THEY WERE REFERRED TO US FROM BJ'S WHOLESALE CLUB. BUYER BEWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!
