AVOID this FRAUDULENT Irrigation business like the PLAGUE!!! We have well water for our irrigation system that is used to water our lawn and plants. Due to the high iron content 5 years ago I had a Chemical Tank with injection system installed to help mitigate the high concentration of iron from the well water. About a year or so ago our injection pump had stopped working on the Chemical Tank. The lady who answers the phones at Bob Irsay informed me that they could repair the pump and she would send a technician out to take care of it. The technician showed up and I showed him where the tank and pump were located on side of home. He looked baffled and said im not familiar with these injector pumps. I was in shock & just as confused based on the information the lady who answers the office phone at Bob Irsay had provided me from my initial call. She informed me this is a service they offer!! After spending about 15 mins with the tech 1 weekday morning I had to get to work in Miami. It was very apparent that this company had wasted my time and given me false information. This technician had just looked at my pump like it was Chinese math. Unbeknownst to me and “without my approval” the technician decided to take matters into his own hands once I had left for work & said he changed the direction of some of my irrigation heads. He called me up at work on my cell & said that what he had done (without my consent) should help with my issue of the iron/rust stains getting onto our Paver Driveway. I informed the tech over the phone that I had already adjusted the heads in the past to keep the water off the home and paver drive as best as possible… long b4 I decided to purchase the Chemical Tank. I informed him that If the Pump for the tank was functioning properly that was all that’s needed to mitigate the iron deposits on my paver driveway & homes stucco. To make a long story short these turkeys at Bob Irsay Irrigation have the gaul to send me an invoice in the mail for almost $300 😡 I called the company and asked to speak to the Manager. Being a small family business 1 of the brothers after 3-4 attempted calls/ messages left by me over a weeks time with the lady who answers the phone returns my call. I in detail explain to him politely that his technician adjusted my heads which I never wanted done nor ok’d. I called them to repair my injection pump on the chemical tank.. NOT ADJUST MY IRRITATION HEADS. Without even discussing it with his tech, he asks me to split the difference of invoice with him. 😲 With all due respect… let’s use basic common sense here for a minute…if you’re a mechanic at GoodYear and I drop my vehicle off with you and ask for an oil change and you don’t change my oil, but instead rotate my tires, would you pay me for rotating my tires when I’m at your shop to get an oil change?!?! Would you believe this business owner has the indecency to say to me, I understand what you’re saying, but we did send out a tech & he did do work at your home. This costs me money for gas and I still have to pay my technician. I realize at this point that this Guy and I are from 2 different Worlds! Imagine ordering a pizza from UberEats and the driver shows up with Chinese Food. Would you say, oh no worries, I’ll pay you for 1/2 the pizza and eat the Chinese SURPRISE food you brought me…? I’m mean come on. Have some decency & DO THE RIGHT THING. To add insult to injury when I inform the Mngr, no I am not going to pay for a service I didn’t request or approve what does he do… he send me to a Collections Agency!! I have an 850 plus FICO Credit Score. Today I review my credit report & see my Score has dropped over 120 points to 730 and the only blemish on my report is this fraudulent report by Bob Irsay Irrigation. So now I have to take valuable time to dispute the charge with the Credit Bureau and file a lawsuit for fraudulent claims against Bob Irsay Irrigation. Do yourself a huge favor and look for any other irrigation company who does work you approve and not whatever they want to do in order to make a Buck.

Never started any work. Spoke with him, he seems to have a bit of a personality problem and also has absolutely no customer service skills. It seems that he only does things his own one track way and is unwilling to be flexible or open minded. I concluded that it’s better to stay away from this guy move on to someone else. 2 thumbs down

They were total professionals. They did the job that I wanted for a fair price and got it done right.

When we called to inquire about their service and to disuss our needs, we were told it would take about 1 hour which is $75 plus parts. We agreed to the amount. They said they would call the following week to set an appointment. Instead a worker showed up at the door a couple days later. The worker replaced sprinklers that we had installed recently, instead of just replacing the heads. He moved the sprinkler we wanted moved after I had to convince him it was needed and that it was what I wanted. When he walked me around to show me the completed job, several of my sprinklers would remain up. I asked him if he had vaseline or something to grease the poles so they would slide appropriately, he said no, he could just replace the sprinkler. I told him no. I had to ask him for the parts he removed, which he gave to me begrudgidly. Anyhow, it took him 2 hours to complete the work because he did things he didn't need to do and the cost of parts that were not needed. Final bill was $275 with 2.5 hours of labor charged. We still had to grease the sprinkler poles ourselves. When we called the company to discuss our issues they knocked the bill down to $252. I told him we would pay but we were not happy and would not use their services again. The sprinklers are working fine. We just feel that this company jacked up the costs higher than they should have. I waited almost 3 weeks for the service to be provided. Initially I said I could wait a week. Called a gain, then it was another week. So I finally said I am going somewhere else because my plants were dying. Then a workman showed up when I was not home and I did not receive a call to tell me he was coming. When I got home, I called and he came and fixed the problem. But arrangements were much less than desired.

We had a very old sprinkler system and had some work done in our backyard where we had to rip out the old sprinklers. Bob came in and assessed what needed to be done. He was prompt and very professional. The price ended up a small fraction higher than what was quoted, as we thought the old sprinklers in the side yard were functional, and they were not. They completed the work in one day. They cleaned up after themselves and are very nice people to work with. UPDATE: As of 1/30/2015, the sprinklers are working excellent. The new rain gauge and control panel has made our water usage much more efficient. We also decided to put a shed in the backyard. We called Bob as we needed to have a sprinkler head relocated. They came out the very next day and performed the work. We couldn't be more pleased with this company!

Very happy with all the work done. Price was very fair, work was done very nicely and professionally. They did have to re-schedule the project by one day at the last minute, which was a but inconvenient for me which is the only reason I gave a B on that. But it was worth the wait as the job was done good, Bob is very helpful and friendly and his technician also did a great job and was very helpful and friendly. I would use them again for sure, and his price was better than a competitor. The new system is SO much better!

Bob came, installed the timer and gave me some suggestions about how to better water my lawn. We also discussed some possible future jobs. He went so far as to suggest the work I could do myself before he would send "a guy" out to do the heavy lifting, thereby saving me some money.

Scheduled a service call on Monday for the following day. Mr Irsay stated he would call me Tuesday morning to provide me a window of time the service would be performed. By almost noon on Tuesday I had not heard from Mr Irsay so I called him. When he answered the phone and I asked him if he would still be able to service my irrigation system he stated his service technician had an emergency that morning and he wouldn't be able to get someone to my home. When I stated he had told me he was going to call me about the service window and half the day was gone now with no call, I just got a generic "we'll see when we can get someone to your area." While this was to be a service call on my irrigation system, to get it operable Mr Irsay didn't know that I am looking at upgrading and expanding the system. I wonder if the knowledge of getting a much larger contract would have given me better service.

Our sprinkler system suddenly stopped working, and we called to have it repaired. When he arrived, he quickly found that tree roots had gotten into the sprinkler line and had broken the pipe. He worked about 1.5 hours to replace the line and a couple sprinkler heads. We were very happy with the service and the price, and would definitely use this company again.

Work was done as promised and we were very happy with the service provided. Felt that description of what needed to be done met what we received. Took time to explain what was being done and why. The service provided fixed all of our issues with the system. Since we had just purchased the home (resale) and wanted to get the yard back in shape this was important to us.

SUPER!!! I received a call from the owner Bob Irsay who came and surveyed my site, determining the work I needed, provided a fair price and could do the work quickly. The technicians arrived on time, were very courteous and had everything done promptly.

Very responsive, friendly, explained all details and recommendations.

I contacted 3 companies from Angie's list and received 3 bids. All 3 were within a hundred dollars so cost was not a deciding factor. Bob came out a few days after the initial call to give me a quote and gave me options the other companies didn't give me. I was very happy with his design and that the cost wasn't any higher even with what I considered to be extras. Bob maintained constant contact through the whole project and showed up the day of to check on progress. Work was completed the same day with no issues and exactly to Bob's design. I added a drip system in the front garden which neither of the other companies had suggested and the Rain Bird ESP-SMT "smart clock" which again wasn't offered by the other companies. It's been just shy of 2 months and already my yard is looking much healthier. The drip system has drastically improved the shrubs growth and overall health. Bob will always be my sprinkler company.

They were very customer oriented, they put the pipes where I wanted it to be in a so it would be in a process. They did the coordinating between me as a home owner putting it in and the homeowner association in terms of plans and everything so it satisfies their needs. They checked out all the requirements with the local government regulations and got the approvals from the government folks. So it was very thorough complete job. They did a great job as it is working really well. There was one problem as the system got shut down which was not his problem. I called him and he was there that day to take a look at it, diagnosed it and solved the problem. The problem was because we had too much rain and the system got automatically shut off. I just didn’t know that that’s the way it works and he provided the support necessary. Not only did he do the job but he was there to support the work when a problem arouse few months later. I checked the price with my neighbor’s and the price was the same as others.

The day I called, the owner came by and determined that the coils in my pump were shorting out. Two days later a man arrived and replaced the pump. Each time they called before they arrived and arrived on time. System is working fine now. I'm quite pleased

He was good and I was happy with it. Right off the bat he was able to point out areas that I knew were a problem. He gave me a good plan from the initial quote. I could tell that he knew what was going on. He did what he told me he was going to do and it worked. I was happy. There were no surprises or anything. I asked him about a couple of other options like putting in a well to save water and he was very upfront and told me that I probably wouldn't get a return on my investment so I was better not doing it. That saved me about $3,000 so I appreciated his advice. He is an honest guy and I would recommend him. I will use him again if I have a problem. I don't know if the price I paid was good or not.
