Ovi did a great job and we were very pleased with the final product. He was very communicative throughout the process and always punctual. I would hire him again in the future if I have any tile work that needs to be done.

Ovi changed my shower tiles, the shower door, and installed the new fixtures. His work was professional. He was very responsive and was able to work with the rules of my condo association. The only miscommunication we had was the number of shelves he installed in the shower. At the end, I could have used more shelves but the work turned out to be beautiful. I would hire him again.

It was easy to get an estimate and the work went smoothly. Ovidiu sent me text messages of the work throughout the day, which was a nice touch. Before the project, he picked up tile I had ordered online from Home Depot. During the project he needed a few additional items from Home Depot (to screw my toilet back in) & those were added on to the total (makes sense). The new floor is beautiful and I got it done quickly, which made me happy!

Great work, fair price, always on time. Best of all flexible working around my schedule. Also made good recommendations on type of types which save me additional $$ and easy to clean. I recommend and will use him again if neede.

Ovi's work was excellent -- his price was fair, he worked independently and was very transparent in his communications with us and he moved the project along at a rapid pace. He regularly checked in (before things were grouted) to make sure his work met our standards and matched the design we intended. He showed great judgment about when to ask questions and when he ran into challenges, he was solution oriented and gave us options. (Finally, he was just generally helpful -- as we weren't living in the house, he also flagged anything unusual he noticed inside or outside.) We'll have him back when we're ready for kitchen backsplash or finishing the basement!

Ovi came quickly and when promised every time. He got samples of tiles and edging and gave suggestions. Tile work was done promptly and good quality work. Ovi was happy to change the corner edging detail when I asked about it, no problem. Also did a nice job cutting and installing a new threshold and didn't charge for it.

Ovidiu did an excellent job. He maintained excellent contact through texts and actually got started on the work earlier than we had thought was possible. Throughout, he was very careful about preventing dust and dirt from getting into our condo. He is very punctual, polite, friendly, and easy to work with. Most importantly, he does excellent work: we are very pleased with our new balcony floor.

Ovi was punctual and professional throughout. When we were not liking the original selections he made for the floor tile, we asked that he go find some new ones which he did at no extra cost or gripe. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of work.

He said it would take a week and he was able to finish it in 4 days. He was always prompt in the morning and helped come up with some great suggestions since there were some problems along the way. I would not only recommend him to others (and already have) but when we are ready to do the upstairs bathroom, he will be doing that project as well. He was a pleasure to work with and gave us a quality job. He was also able to recommend someone to help install a Kohler shower door, which was really helpful to finish the job.

This review is long overdue!!! Ovi's work product was perfect! I observed how Ovi installed the durock walls in the shower, prior to installing the wall tile -- it was simply flawless! Ovi was PROMPT, pleasant to work with, great with offering suggestions, and adaptable to any situation. And prior to starting the project, I had questions on different occasions, and no matter how often, Ovi would ALWAYS return my calls. This was my first home remodeling project, and everything turned out wonderful! I would definitely use Ovi again, and I definitely recommend Ovi! In fact, I will be hiring Ovi for another project. Ovi did a great job and was very professional throughout the process. It took a day or two longer than expected but that was understandable considering he did all the work himself. If you a looking for qualify service on a budget, then Ovi is your guy!

Overall it went well. The finished look is really nice. PROS: Ovi was extremely responsive and showed up each of the three days exactly when he said he would, and ended on time as well. Very important to me since the work occurred Fri-Sun, so that valuable weekend time wasn't wasted waiting around. He also made some suggestions on the look that really improved it, such as grout color (I had been interested in using a dark color which in hindsight would have looked bad) and adding a schluter, which is basically a metal sleeve that covers the unfinished edges of the tile so it looks professional. Finally, I didn't have to wait really long to schedule the work, only like 2 weeks, and Ovi is very courteous and pleasant to work with. CON: The only con was not having a formal written quote, as at least one other has mentioned. It made me nervous, but I moved forward anyway. Apprehension was unfounded. Ovi stuck to the verbal quoted price. No issues at all. I am giving a B vs. A for professionalism only because I think it's not ideal for either party not to have something in writing. Everything else in terms of professionalism was good. Lastly, when the shower door company came for measurements after the tile work was done, they noticed the ledge was slightly crooked. We called Ovi to ask if he can fix, and he did so immediately with no issues. This I think is extremely important. You want to know your contractors stand behind their work. I was relieved and happy that Ovi addressed in a positive manner. It could have been an awful experience for us, but wasn't. Overall, I would recommend using Ovi.

Ovi was prompt and pleasurable in answering his phone and scheduling the work. He took a look at the bathroom (on the third floor) and had no issues with what I wanted to do. Because the tile I selected was more expensive for the floor and I was installing a new balancing valve/tub/shower head, he had to plumb this in as well thus the slight price increase. Man did he work. Promptly showed up at 8 the first day and went right to work gutting the bathroom (no easy matter as the unit is on the third floor, all steps), re-sweated and installed the shower balancing valve, installed the sheet rock and making any modifications that were needed behind the wall, then tiled. He also tiled the floor and knocked this all out in three days. It looks fantastic, Grecian white marble hex floors and subway tile walls. He cleaned up after himself and I couldn't be more pleased with the work. Actually, I am having him tile two outdoor balcony's for me following this job (starting next week). Fantastic transaction, won't hesitate to work with him again or recommend him to others (which has already been done)~

The kitchen backsplash turned out beautifully. Ovi was very responsive, polite, and did a great job. I selected a tiny tile that was intricate and difficult to install; he installed everything nicely and we are very happy with his work and professionalism. Very pleasant to deal with and we would highly recommend, was even sweet to our dog who was misbehaving and making work more challenging. A picture is worth a thousand words, see the before and after (we still need to get trim, as old trim did not fit after tile was installed). Three cheers for Ovi and Best Quality Tiles. :)

This was my first time hiring someone through Angie's List and I am very happy with the results. Ovi, the owner, was very accomodating throughout the three day process. Living in a high rise presented schedule, noise, and coordination challenges that he was able to overcome. Each step of the process went by rather smoothly and efficiently. My bathroom looks many times better than before. The install job and tile turned out great. When issues came up, like my existing threshold being too small, Ovi was able to provide work arounds. I would definitely hire this company again for future work.

Ovi was very responsive from the beginning of the process. I left him a voice mail and within a day he called me back. I bought a special deal for 2 tub re-caulkings and Ovi had no problem switching the service to 1 tub and 1 shower. His prices are so reasonable, I also had him re-silicone where my counter meets the backsplash in 2 bathrooms and the kitchen. He was able to come out within a week of me buying the deal. He was on time and did a great job. I would recommend his services!
