Everything went wonderfully from the start. Ovi called back right away and arrived for an estimate very soon after we spoke. His price was very competitive and he was able to start the work very soon. Working with Ovi was a pleasure, he is genuine and kind. He finished all of the jobs promptly, and the quality is top notch. Ovi went above and beyond and was extremely helpful, offering advice and helping with other parts of the project, even in areas that were not his responsibility. ovi was just great. Starting with estimate till the final sealing of the tiles, ovi was very professional during the whole project. a few times he made suggestions which in hindsight I was glad that I listened. he was very clear on the actual work right from the beginning which actually tells me that he knows what he does quite well. he even offered to come by when the glass enclosure is being installed by another company just to make sure the glass is sealed properly. he didn't need to do this but it shows how much he cares about the work that he does. I can keep going on describing all the good work but at the end of the day I am personally happy with the final work and my bathroom looks great now. highly recommended..

Ovi installed a new backsplash in my kitchen. He did an amazing job and it all looks great!! His price was much more reasonable than the other quotes I got, and he was a true pleasure to work with. He communicated regularly and was always on time. I'd highly recommend Ovi to anyone who needs work done on tile!!!

Ovi is a pro, and an artist! Replaced the leaky 2nd floor shower. Kept the wall tiles and made it look like it was made that way. We highly recommend!!

The Contractor was easy to contact and punctual in our first meeting to quote the job. After deciding to go with this Contractor, his quote was very reasonable, all communication with the Contractor was very poor and unprofessional. The Contractor failed to show up to start the job on three consecutive days and after the third day of not arriving I cancelled all work with the Contractor. The Contractor explained he was busy finishing up an earlier job the first two times and that he had forgot my address the third time. I got the sense that he really didn't want to do this job and was reaching for excuses as to why he couldn't show up to start the work. If that was the case, PLEASE just be honest with people so they don't waste time thinking that there may actually be some follow through. I was willing to give the Contractor flexibility to finish prior work and understand that jobs sometimes run over the expected completion date, but the biggest annoyance was that the Contractor never reached out to me to explain that he was not going to show, never sent a text or a voicemail explaining his scheduling conflicts. I always had to contact the Contractor and inquire whether the Contractor would be working on that day. If I had known that working with this Contractor was going to be this big of a hassle and his lack of communication about start date, delays, and scheduling conflicts would be this problematic, I would have gone with someone else. Also, I would caution about providing any money up front to this Contractor. I was very grateful that I did not provide any down payment on future work to be performed. Please beware of my mistakes with this Contractor

I hired Ovi and his team first for two tasks and than after seeing how good the work looks like ended up renovating the whole house with them. Ovi and his team have been wonderful and extremely professional. They made it their personal mission to do the work to the highest standard of ceramic tiling. My family is thankful and happy for all the hard work they did. Thank you Ovi for your hard work, next task will be the backsplash in the kitchen. Until soon!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great communication throughout the process with scheduling and planning and the end result is just beautiful. Work was done quickly and efficiently and just when I needed it, too. Ovi is a very friendly guy and clearly an expert at what he does. We will be using him again for some bathrooms.

Ovi and Stefan did nice work at a reasonable price and in a reasonable time frame. Lack of a contract was a concern but other reviews were good and the work went well.

Ovidiu was on time for estimate and measured how much tile I should order. He was a lot more reasonable than 2 other bids I received and the square footage of tile was lower, but I immediately found him trustworthy. We scheduled and he was prompt and tidy. I ordered epoxy grout from Ann Sacks (where I got the tiles) not knowing it was more difficult to work with, but Ovidiu did a great job, my general contractor even commented on his work. Upon completion he made sure the job was to our expectations and we still have 2 boxes of overage. I referred Ovidiu to 2 friends thus far and they too are very pleased. He will be back to do our guest bath this fall.

I can't say enough good things about Ovi. I had many questions while picking out tile and he was always very prompt in answering my questions and giving his advice. He showed up on-time, was great in explaining everything and offering suggestions. The work he did was superb and went above and beyond. My bathroom looks amazing and I can't wait for Ovi to come back to re-tile my other bathroom!

While the area was small, the job was not trivial. Here what was done: 1. Fill big gap with concrete under the side panels. 2. Pour additional layer of concrete top of the shower base to raise the floor. 3. Install new tiles regular shape. 4. Finish all grouting on floor, and caulk shower base. 5. Clean and seal all shower wall stone panels. Recaulk all corners. ------- Total price $800, which includes all the materials except for tiles. Ovidiu, the professional who performed the job was great! Highly recommended! Will hire again!

I had a kitchen backsplash installed. I chose marble tile and had it done in a herringbone design. I chose a complex design and Ovidiu handled it like a champ! Many of the tiles had to be cut so it was very labor intensive. He was prompt and professional. I would hire again.

Great! Ovi has that old-world craftsmanship. He told me he learned his trade from his father and has been doing it for many years. His preciseness with the small tile cuts really impressed me. He listens, he suggests and just works great with his clients. This was the last major change to the total remodeling of the 40 years old house we recently moved into. I would never have any hesitation in recommending Ovi and Best Quality Tiles, Inc.

I couldn't have asked for a better result. First, you should know I am an extremely picky customer. If something isn't straight or shows the installer didn't think things through, I am willing to ask to have it redone (which is brutal if you're talking about work literally set in concrete). You should know also that I was renovating a condo in Chicago although I live out of state. So even though I was in Chicago from time to time to check the work, most of the work was done while I wasn't there--very tricky if you're picky. Ovi performed exceptionally well from start to finish in all the ways you could hope. First, Ovi provided a timely estimate (unlike a couple of other Chicago-based tile installers). The price was substantially higher than I had estimated, but I was comparing his price with guys who lay tile (on top of painting and whatever else they do). Ovi is a master tile installer. Over the course of several emails and phone calls, we talked about the work he would provide, which included leveling the floors and promising he would do the math required to lay tile that looked good across the entire condominium. At my house, I have a bathroom done by someone who didn't do this, and when I look at the 1/2 inch tiles jammed into one wall's corners, first I cry, then I regret not having paid more to have the room done properly. I knew the industrial modern look of the condominium would succeed or fail depending on the quality of the tile job, so I went with Ovidiu and Best Quality Tiles (with fingers crossed). I was present when he leveled the floors, which took many more bags of leveling cement than expected but which he accomplished as he said he would. Then I went home (still somewhat nervous about the large job to be done while I was gone) while he laid the tile. Knowing the tile installation is somewhat permanent, Ovi consulted with me on nearly every decision that would affect the overall look of the tile. He sent me pictures and videos and spoke with me via FaceTime as the project progressed. I could see across the miles that his work was precise. He also took care not to violate condominium rules and drive my new neighbors crazy. I received no complaints about concrete dust tracked in the hallways and common areas. I had another craftsman check the work toward the end of the job, and he was extremely complimentary and said he would give Ovi's name freely to anyone who needed high quality tile work. Like work done on any extensive renovation, there were a couple of times the product didn't make me totally happy (everyone has his or her own tastes). Without a peep, Ovi redid the areas at no additional cost. His goal was always to make me happy with the work and do an excellent job. As a contractor, he worked on the schedule and within the budget he had set for the job, did all the work as he had promised, and never lost his sense of humor or cheerful personality. I now have a condominium completely transformed by his high quality work and, I think, a new friend who has earned my highest respect. I highly recommend Ovi and Best Quality tile (and remember that I'm really picky). I have uploaded work in progress (although I couldn't upload the videos that show the entire condo). I will try to upload final photos when I am back in Chicago.

Ovi did a great job of accommodating my needs. He discussed the project with me before he began and made sure he knew exactly what I wanted done, which I really appreciated. He even had some expert opinions on some of my ideas (such as grout color). He was a very hard worker and definitely knew what he was doing. After he finished the grouting I asked him to clean up the grout lines a little bit and he was happy to accommodate. I can be pretty demanding when it comes to the quality of the work and I can say he was great. I am very happy with the shower and back-splash.
