Scheduled an estimator who came out for the appointment on time. Received a written proposal within 24 hours. They completed the work while the homeowner was away over the course of a week. The job was neat and clean and they finished all work on time and as planned.

Another painter estimated $475 to paint our master bath. Benchmark said that $440 was their minimum for work and it covered one day. The estimator said they could paint my master bath for about $295 and asked if I needed any other area painted. I suggested another very small bathroom and they put two coats on both rooms for the $440. They were able to do the job about one week after the estimator was here. The workman were very prompt (early in fact) and very professional. They laid tarps to protect where they walked in my house and worked very quietly and neatly. I will definitely use them again when we have to paint.

It's nice when a contractor provides you with an estimate that is correct and with no surprizes. The overall service and quality of the job was excellent, from estimate, to quality of materals used, and the actual work completed by the painters. Very professional and careful. We had several estimates from referrals and Benchmark was the only one we selected from Angies List, and we are glad we did. We selected Benchmark because of the information provided by Bob when he came to look at the job and we thought the price was reasonable for the work to be completed. I was very pleased with them. I loved the work and their attention to detail was tremendous. The only negative was they were supposed to come on a certain day and they had to push it back because a previous project ran over. But once they got started, it was worth the wait. I was concerned because they needed to be done by a certain day but they did get it all done. They did beautiful work and left things clean. They did the crown molding all over the house. When they where here they focused on me and got my work done. They even brought in a fourth painter on the last day to make sure the project was completed on time.

Not only have I found them to be less expensive than some handymen out there, they did a perfect job with everything. They were on time and very courteous.

I will keep this short because I want you read our review. All projects were preformed to our complete satisfaction. Our kitchen turned out incredible, the marble floors are beautiful and level, their painting expertise was second to none. We have hired lots of contractors in the past 20 years and we consider ourselves fairly picky customers. Benchmark exceeded our expectations in every way. Our 30 year old home looks brand new. We are ecstatic with the work and competence of Martin and his Benchmark crew. Everyone was great and I never doubted that they would do what they said and do it right. And they did. We will absolutely hire Benchmark in the future and you should too.

The entire experience was great from start to finish. Martin orignally came out and gave us a quote. We had other companies come and bid and in the process came up with some other ideas for the room. We asked Martin to re-bid incorporating the new ideas which he promptly did, and we decided to use his company. His workers, Wilson and Giovanni, arrived on time and ready to work. The entire job took a total of about 4 days (they needed to come back after a new floor was installed). I was home the entire time and I swear I never saw them take a break! The work was meticulous. They made sure the area was always left clean at the end of the day. After the job was completed they even cleaned my floors and the dusty windows! I am very pleased with the company from the owner, Martin, who always answered my questions promptly, to Sherry in the office, and of course to Wilson and Giovanni for their excellent, professional work. Once I get my furniture and room back together, I will post a photo.

They were professional, efficient and concerned about making sure the paint blended (where it did not, they simply painted the entire room). We appreciated their attention to detail, the care taken to protecting the areas where they painted and the end of job cleanup.

We bought a new house and needed the entire interior painted. I called Benchmark and was able to have a representative meet me that week. Bob came out and reviewed the painting I needed done. He answered all of my questions, and shared with me how the company worked. He then provided an estimate by email to me later that day. We decided to work with Benchmark and signed the contract. They immediately put us on the schedule. I was having trouble picking colors so I called Bob and asked him if someone who could help me choose colors. He gave me the name and phone number of a color consultant. He also called her to let her know I would be in touch. She was very helpful and helped me choose the colors for the home. On the scehduled day, Bob and the crew (Juan, Pedro and Johnny), arrived promptly that morning. Bob again reviewed the scope of the work with me and the crew leader, Juan. Bob also made sure that I knew to leave notes for the crew for any information I wanted to communicate. The painters were excellent. They left the house everyday very clean and placed their supplies in a small section of our garage. Any notes I left them were acted upon the next day. In addition, Bob stopped by our house regularly to check on the status of the project. One day, I realized I had made an error with the color of one wall. I called Bob that evening and explained the mistake I made. He told me it was fine and they would fix it the next day, which they did. Juan and crew did an excellent job painting our house. They paid close attention to details which we really appreciated. Bob was easy to communicate with and made sure we were satisfied with the work. In addition, Sherry in the office was a pleasure to work with as well.

From start to finish Benchmark was a pleasure to work with. Patricia came out for the estimate and was very professional. Wilson and Guivanni arrived on time and finished in one day. They were very pleasant and cleaned up after finishing. They did a great job on straight lines from the wall to the ceiling as our walls are a medium beige. Will be calling them again!!

Benchmark Painting did an outstanding job on my home. I wanted to whitewash not paint my brick house. This is not a standard request. Martin DeViincenti returned my call promptly and came out to discuss what I wanted to have done. His experience, professionalism and willingness to work with my idea was outstanding. We set a date and his crew arrived promptly and together with Martin, we experimented with different washes to give the bricks the look I desired. The crew of Endir, Romeo and Gilbert were polite, professional, thorough and in constant communication with me and Martin to insure that all was done well. There was some delay because of rain but they worked around it until the job was completed. They coordinated with me and the gutter people so that all was done in efficient manner. They also repaired the fascia board under gutter. What I really appreciated was the collective desire of everyone at Benchmark to be sure that I was pleased with the job and that I certainly am. I would definitely use Benchmark again.

I hired Benchmark to paint a condo that I had leased for the past several years and had agreed to return to the original neutral tones. The representative came to my home promptly upon my request for a quote and provided me a written, guaranteed estimate within 48 hours. I then put them in contact with the condo owner/landlord to select the paint colors. This project was very challenging in that they had to work with two parties, but despite this, they were incredibly patient, professional and courteous throughout the project. While there was some delay in the paint selection not related to Benchmark, they nonetheless finished the job within the two days and price quoted. They arrived ready to work, immediately removing all electrical plate covers, doors, A/C grids, window coverings, etc., and taping all the baseboards and trim. When they finished the job, they vacuumed and damp mopped the floors - no trace of their work left. I should add that they also had to repair some holes in the the walls and the repairs were done so well that they were nearly undetectable. They also arranged for subcontractor for electrical (who was similarly professional, courteous, arrived on time, worked quickly and completed the work expertly). I would highly recommend Benchmark to anyone - they really are some of the best contractors I have used in my 17 years in Florida.

They were great. They showed up on time, they were professional, they did a great job in every room. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They were very polite and they worked their butts off. We totally felt that we got our money's worth and then some.

Once I contacted Benchmark their Project Co-ordinator replied and met with me in a timely manner. The second meeting with the President consisted of a walk through where potential renovations were discussed. We did provide our own Project Co-ordinator as we live outside the US and couldn't attend the renos and Benchmark was happy to work with her. Then we selected the type of flooring; tiles; plumbing fixtures; light fixtures; paint colors etc that we required and Benchmark provided us an estimate of the costs (detailing labour and material costs where available). Work started and progressed as scheduled. The site was kept clean during the reno's and after with the help of a cleaner referred by Benchmark. We are very, very pleased with the results and Benchmark's professionalism throughout. Thanks Benchmark!

I needed to have a bathtub removed and the floor tiled. Once completed, I needed to have some drywall patching where the tile installers had to remove some marble and replace which was not the same size. I also needed drywall installed where the tub had been. He put me in touch with a plumber who could do the work and a tiler who could install the floor tile. He could have scheduled these workmen and charged me a surcharge but he chose to give me their numbers so that I could contact them directly to have the work done. That is a sign of a very honest businessman. I sent him pictures of the room that I needed drywall work and paint and he gave me a quote over the phone. As soon as the tub was removed, I was able to have the tile installer complete the floor tile and Martin had his painters come the next day to do the drywall patch and paint. They did an extremely neat job and cleaned up. I am in need of having more drywall work done and will certainly have them back. Martin runs an extremely reputable business and I would recommend him to anyone needing this type of work done.

It didn't go well. I was disappointed from the beginning that he didn't get back to me for a couple of days and then his prices were too high for the same work that John's crew did for me.

Benchmark came out and estimated the job. They e-mailed us a proposal and started the next week. The crew showed up on time and kept us up to date on progress all along the way. We had an issue with a SuperGutter that we didn't expect but Benchmark helped us to work through it by recommending someone who could help. When we had questions we could call the office and Sherry would always answer and direct us to the right person to ask. Imagine that, a live person answering the phone. They were good. I think their price was pretty adequate for the service they provided for me. I would certainly use them again.

The painters covered the floors, my new kitchen and my furniture. Not a bit of popcorn or paint could be found when they finished; It was amazing since I had expected t.o have to do alot of clean up. They left me with nothing to do..The job was perfect and I am a very particular person They are the best!

Somebody else had done a terrible job earlier and all the paint on the floor was peeling up. So I called Benchmark Painting & Carpentry Inc and spoke to the president of the company. I explained to him of what the situation was and he came and took a look at what had to be done, and explained why it had to be done. He gave me some estimates and I called him back in a couple of days and asked him to go ahead with the job. Again, he came out himself with his crew; each one of them understood what exactly had to be done and did a great and fabulous job. It was very hot inside while they worked but they finished the work in four hours. They were very professional and pleasant.

The two painters were exceptional in their focus and workmanship as they showed up on time and after a review of the job site, got right to work. They understood what needed to be done and did not have to be reminded of anything. They worked as a team taking care of protecting the carpet and furniture before doing any standing, spackling or painting. The were very deliberate in the quality of work; did not waste any time and informed us when they broke for lunch.The painting process was uniform, with none wasted. When finished, both bedrooms and especially the closet and baseboards gave the appearance of just being installed new. They cleaned up very well. My wife and I could not be more satisfied with Benchmark Painting & Carpentry.

overall good experience. After job was completed we noticed bubbles in paint aver drying. It took awhile to get response from company but when we did they repaired to our satisfaction before collecting final payment so I would recommend them .
