They were very good. It was hard to find someone to do the kind of work they did. They were super nice.

We recently purchased a home, scheduled to close at the end of June, that needs some updating. We felt that it would be a good idea to have our contractor in place now so that it would give them enough time schedule/begin our job right after closing. One of the contractors that I reached out to was Benchmark Painting and set up an appointment through their office manager (Jes). She was able to set up an 11AM appointment and told me that Bob would be the one to meet myself, my realtor, and the seller's realtor at the home. I advised that punctuality was important as I had scheduled several appointments, with several contractors, throughout that day and tardiness would have a domino effect on the whole day. The appointment day came and at 11:20AM, there was no Bob and no call so I decided to call them instead to get an update and was told that someone would call me back. Sure enough about 5 minutes later, Bob called me to let me know he was running late and that it would be another 20 minutes or so which I told him to cancel as I already had an 11:45AM appointment scheduled. I wrote to Jes to let her know that I was deeply disappointed and that although delays are understandable, timely communication of the delay is the easiest thing to do and it goes a long way towards good customer service. She replied that she completely understood and that this was not typical of their company and to give them another chance. Based on the many positive Angie's members feedback, I decided to do exactly that but on the condition that someone else other than Bob would handle the appointment. This time the appointment was set up and Martin ( the owner) would personally come visit and sure enough, he was on time and also had several sub-contractors come to meet us there. All went smooth and was told by Martin to give him till the middle of the following week to give me an estimate which would've been a week and a half away. At the deadline, I still hadn't heard back from them so I reached out only to be told that they would need an additional 2 days because their subs still hadn't provided their estimates to them. At the end of those 2 days, I still hadn't heard back from them so I decided to reach out and was told they would need another couple of days. To summarize, some delays are uncontrollable thus acceptable but lack of respect for a potential customer's time is not. In my particular experience, a simple phone call to let me know they were running late would have gone a long way towards proving they focus on good customer service.

It went very well and they were nice to work with, were reliable and were a no "BS" company. They gave a fair estimate, were accomidating, and fulfilled the contract.

These guys were great. showed up on time every day and worked hard all day. The on site supervisor told us what the plan was for the day and before they left at the end of the day, he told us what they would accomplish the next day. Went over and above to make sure things were done right. They checked with us on regular intervals to be sure things were up to our standards. Supervisor stopped by to be sure everything was going well. It is not often that a company exceeds expectations but Benchmark Painting did just that. We are extremely happy with the work and will use them again. Very high quality work.

I wish all the services that I hire could be like Benchmark. Our painters name was Ken and he was fabulous. I can't think of anything he could have done better. I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality painting done by professionals. Bob

The first appointment, I got mixed up, I thought it was for an hour later than it was so I missed it...My bad! The second appointment, the representative took ill unfortunately, so we had to reschedule. I told them to call me to reschedule. Once we rescheduled, they were prompt...early even! Met me at the home and did a thorough walkthrough. We discussed all of my needs and a proposal was put together. Unfortunately, the proposal was significantly higher than the previous two I had received and being we are moving from one home to another and not only are fixing up the new one, we also need to make repairs to our current home, we are on a tight budget. The materials and agreement were all the same so unfortunately I chose to go wtih a different provider. I would still recommend them though. Patricia was courteyous, professional and knowledgable!

I LOVE this Company!!! I have used Benchmark a few times over the past couple of years & cannot say enough good things about them! The Customer Service is absolutely GREAT from start to finish. The initial call, the appointment setting, the estimate, the follow up not to mention the respectfulness, professinalism & clealiness of the crew! You can see how they take pride in their work and want to make the customers nothing but happy with the job that they do for you...give them a try you will not be disappointed!

The initial contact was horrible! Patricia came to my front door and didn't even say hello or introduce herself. It took her 1/2 a day just to do the estimate. The cost of my walls and ceiling for 2200 sq feet was 5500. Most people asked me if they were doing the drywall too! Moving is stressful enough. They came on Tuesday morning and Finished just in time for my move. I mean for that $$$ I thought it would be much quicker...at one point I offered to help. I was backed into a corner cause I had to get it done. the guys were really nice and they did a good job but nothing spectacular. and at the very end I miscalculated and paid $20 less by accident - they sent the guys back, called me and emailed me - like I wasn't going to pay. I would never recommend them - don't make the mistake I did. I learned the hard way.

They gave us an estimate that was actually a good estimate in comparison but we decided to wait to complete the job

Edson and his assistant were punctual, professional, and meticulous. They explained everything as they went along and welcomed any questions or suggestions from me and my husband. I would use Benchmark for any painting and carpentry work on my house and I would request Edson and his assistant.

Great service. Very fast. A really awesome crew came out. I felt confident my house was in good hands. When an issue did arise they handled very quickly and smoothly .

Wilson did all of the work on his own and did a fantastic job. There were some uneven frames, but he worked so well with it all, It looks beautiful

They were amazing....so professional, cleaned everything...never had a contractor like this before!!!!! They actually vacuumed as they were sanding! Covered everything ..... Spotless!!!!!!!

Marcio and Jose arrived on time, they moved furniture away from the walls, including a very heavy king size bed, covered everything with plastic...I mean everything, artwork, chandeliers etc. It took 3 days because they had to wait for the walls to dry before sanding down the walls. When they sanded the walls they used a vacuum as they sanded to minimize the dust. When they finished, they vacuumed everything walls, baseboards, windows, sills etc. carefully removed the plastic many hours later to wait for the dust to settle. They put all furniture back...there was no damage what so ever...they were so careful with all the furniture and wood floors. I forgot to mention that I am OCD. These guys are PHENOMENAL...I would use Benchmark for ever. Thank you very much, Yvette

The service was great. From the first contact in the office to the home visit to create the proposal and the crew who worked in our house, Benchmark was great to work with. Everyone was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We always felt like we were being treated fairly and they also worked within our very tight deadline. it was great to move to our new home and have it made fresh. I would definitely work with them again and recommend them to others.

From the first contact thru completion this was nothing short of great! Very easy folks to deal with, fast, efficient and extremely professional When the painting crew arrived I was first impressed by their appearance , but when these guys started to work it was even more amazing; fast, incredibly neat, and just a bunch of nice guys. They also can cut an edge with precision (no tape) and left the house as they found it. I'd recommend the company to anyone and would not hesitate to use them again!

They were excellent. Everything was perfect. They did everything I asked them to and everything turned out just the way I wanted.

Ken arrived on time and did a great job. There was some minor water damage around the windows that were treated. He then painted the bedroom and cleaned up afterwards. This is the 4th time we have used Benchmark! They do great work and I believe their pricing is very competitive. I would highly recommend them.

Benchmark were terrific from start to finish. We had a project manager who was our single point of contact which worked great. Every appointment was fulfilled on time, and the job was completed on schedule. Work quality was excellent. Attention to detail was high, with care taken to protect floors and walls in the vicinity of the work. Each day finished with a complete clean-up of the work area and the section of our garage where wood cutting was going on. The job entailed replacing 5 existing "slab" doors with 6-panel doors. We also replaced 2 bi-fold closet doors in our main living area with 6-panel doors. The bi-fold doors needed frames and door casings to be installed as well. Finally, all of this needed to be painted. Overall, Benchmark did a great, professional job. We would certainly recommend them, and plan to use them again in the future for similar projects.

They did not give me an estimate until they came to measure the rooms to be painted inch by inch. Regarding the color, the main project coordinator was helpful but not too involved. I had to do some work regarding the kind of colors would work best for my house. However, once everything was established, the workers came prepared and were very professional. They did a perfect job. This is the time to say that "you pay what you get for". Pricey, but quality work.

I don't know here to begin. Well, first, the price was a combo of house cleaning and carpet cleaning. I loved the women who came to clean. They did an excellent job. Not only were they on time but they brought their own vacuum, broom and mop. As well as the cleaners. The job was for 2 hours each. I was quoted for a 2 1/2 to 3 hour job. Instead the job was only 2 hours. They didn't rush and were very through. As the women were finishing, Zev came in to wash my carpets. He did a super job. I really couldn't be happier with the company. I am going to have them continue cleaning my home. SO STP LOOKING! They are the company for you

I could not be happier with the end result. I love it. Wilson was on time, more than competent, polite and pleasant to work with. From the estimate to completion I was not disappointed. Job was complete in two days, just as Martin promised.

The only problem was that sanding the walls where needed was in the contract and it wasn't done through out.

The painters were good. The communication wasn't so good, but they rectified it.

They were fantastic. They did a lot of painting for the money. I would recommend them to anybody. I would use them again.
