OK. Just disappointed that a carpentry company did not bid carpentry work. I give them credit for deciding not to engage in work they cannot handle as opposed to jumping in and botching it.

They were good to work with. Their price was a little high. Their work was okay. Scheduling an appointment was great.

very punctual gentlemen that clean up each night as prep for the morning. The job lasted 4 days and I was never inconvenienced. The job made the house look like a totally new home.

They may do good work but they have terrible customer service. If they were at least a little responsive I would have given them a chance. I already found another contractor through angie's list.

And he took the time to take down curtains and Venetian blinds. He even pick up the paint from Home Depot. He put two coats on the walls and the trim. I have a cat and he was considerate of not getting the fums by him. Ken was the painter, he had a very calming manor. He told me what he was going to do step by step and ask me questions to be considerate of my bedroom. Steve was the project coordinator and he make the scheduling go smoothly and the day I wished.

Patricia the sales person was very responsive and extremely knowledgeable. She was a great help in assisting us on what needed to be done and the best way to do the job. We were able to schedule the painting in just about a week. Benchmark's painters Marcus and Mark were very cordial and did a great job preparing and painting the walls and ceilings all in two days. They were very neat and cleaned up everything.

It started with Bob coming out to give me an estimate. He was honest, professional and respectful. Another estimator said I'd have to pick out, order, and buy the doors and trim myself, then he would pick it up. One of the reason I wanted to hire someone was so I wouldn't have to do that. Bob never suggested such a thing, he handled it all and came in $1000.00 under the other guy. Next came Juan and his 2 crew members. They were unbelievably great! They arrived by 8:30 every day and worked non-stop, except for a lunch break, until 5:00. The finished product EXCEEDED my expectations. They were meticulous with every aspect of the job. They covered everything, including the floors. When they removed 2 linen closet doors they taped plastic over the opening to protect the contents. They did a wonderful clean up every night, sweeping and wiping down the floors. They too were honest, professional and respectful. (And just very sweet guys). I wish all my experiences with contractors could be so pleasant. I highly recommend this company!!

Benchmark was simply amazing!! They were always on time, had enough workers to get the jobs done very fast, and they listened to exactly what you want!! There prices were significantly cheaper than most but still used great products and did beautiful work. I will use them again in the future for anything else that needs to be done in my house. We had our crown molding done in most of our house, the exterior of our house painted, and all of our lighting done and everything is PERFECT!!!

We are satisfied with the work done. The only issue that we had was the start date of November 6 Thursday. This was the start date of the work but nothing was done. They came at 8 and went to get paint. They returned 1 1/2 hours later dropped off the paint and said they would be back tomorrow. We explained that we lost a days pay and asked them to please start today. They said they would be back with a crew of 4 (right) but only the two from the day before came. My wife took off from work and lost a days pay for nothing. Even Bob had no idea that they were not working as he showed up to check on the crew. The job took 3 days as contracted but the two days of work lasted one night till 6:45 and the second till 8:00 as only Eddie came to finish the job alone. I must say it is hard to be angry with Eddie as he is very pleasant to have working.

Scheduled through Angie's List - and Benchmark was quick to respond. Bob came out the same day (Thursday) because he was in the area, which worked out perfectly. After viewing the job he said that he could have a crew at the house Saturday (48 hours!). The crew came, as promised, on Saturday afternoon and got right to work. Within 3 hours the job was done! If it wasn't for the smell of fresh paint, you'd have never known they were there (except for the completed work) - they were quick, did a flawless job, and cleaned up after themselves - not a drop of paint anywhere.

Very unhappy with their less that professionalism with trying to get quotes. Stood up the 1st time, 2nd time they never called I had to call to ask where the rep was and lastly I have NEVER heard back from them.

These folks are kind, fair and honest. I would use them again. They did everything they said they would do and more! Pete Tychsen

The end result was superb. Unfortunately we had a false start because of a subcontractor they used who completed the job in one day instead of the four it should have taken. The first contractor slapped drywall mud on the wall and ceiling 1/4" thicker than the texture that existed on the surrounding walls and claimed that the contract stated the existing pattern would not be matched perfectly. After Steve saw the pictures we sent him, he apologized immediately and said he would make the job right. Even the woman in the office was professional and apologetic. They called in a man who had worked on our home once before to patch the ceiling -- Wilson. Wilson and his crew -- Sylvester and another man whose name I unfortunately do not have -- did an excellent job. They taped and covered everything in plastic and didn't leave a mark or speck behind. And as for matching the texture pattern -- the house was built in 1972 and, thanks to Team Wilson, our modern kitchen looks like it had been there all along. Thanks Steve, Wilson, Sylvester, and other guy! ?

The whole experience was fantastic! Bob came and gave us a very prompt and detailed estimate. The crew that performed the work was awesome! Wilson's crew of himself, Sylvester and Carlos were excellent. The job was originally scheduled for 4 days but they were doing such a great job on everything we added more improvements to the list. The crew arrived on time every day of the project and worked so hard the whole time. They finished the job in 5.5 days which was incredible considering how much we added on to it. Mark the electrician was also excellent. All in all we feel like we have a brand now home. They were meticulous, professional and very clean. Great job! We highly recommend the team at benchmark!,

It went great! Oscar and his crew did a meticulous job of painting the interior of our 2nd home in Delray Beach. Prior to this, they also did some exterior painting. They are extremely responsive, professional and pleasant -- very easy to work with. I am an interior decorator -- so my standards are pretty high --and these guys absolutely set the bar for everyone else!

We had an appointment with this provider and he was a no call no show.

Bob was very courteous but unfortunately it has been over a week and I have still not received my estimate. I emailed him 4 days after his visit and he assured me he was working on it and would have it for me ASAP. I never received anything (estimate or follow up call, email, etc.) and it wasn't a big job. Wallpaper and popcorn removal and painting. I chose Benchmark because they were so highly rated on Angie's List. I had two other companies come to my home that I got out of my local newspaper and both were just as courteous and I had estimates from each within 2 days of their visit. Hmmmmm

Scraped, primed and painted an overhang under a flat roof and painted 4 closets. Excellent job. I am so very pleased AGAIN!. paint on all door hardware, 1 coat of paint instead of 2 as listed in contract. some items left unpainted altogether. No items covered or protected from painting, paint on furniture.

After a glitch in the start date, they were very professional and neat and clean. Juan was amazing, he ran the job and did most of the cutting of the molding which entailed inside angles, outside angles other than 90 or 45 degree angles. The end results are amazing. You can't go wrong here.

Excellent in materials, setup/cleanup and application/cutting of paper. Extremely neat and tidy. Prompt and extremely quick and efficient.
