Description of Work: Repair a washing machine.

Description of Work: Water did not drain in washer. I was told a part had to be replaced by Jim. I looked online for the problem for the brand that I had. A reason given was the tub tilting due to overload and the machine cutting off to protect the motor. A fix was given without replacing anything. When Jim told me he had to replace the __________hose, I asked did you replace the ________ hose or did you reset it? I did not get a direct answer. I just pulled the receipt from my e-mail today since I'm doing my accounting right now for repairs at the rental. Person I called today at Appliance King is doing an investigation to find record of through Jim's wife since he has expired.

Description of Work: replaced the thermostat in the clothes dryer. they were punctual, quick, professional and cleaned up after themselves.

Description of Work: I left a message that my refrigerator ice flap was stuck open. I got a call back in about an hour. We made an appointment for the next morning. He called before he came. He fixed the problem and tested it afterwards

Description of Work: Jim was extremely helpful. My GE double door fridge was warm on both sides. I called Jim last minute and he made time in his already packed schedule to take care of my emergency. Did the work at a reasonable price and everything has been fine since.

Description of Work: I first had Appliance King out to repair my refrigerator and he did an excellent job, even double checking to make sure there were no leaks in back (even though the repair he did had nothing to do with leaking). I had electrical problems --just coincidentally--while he was at the house and he saved me hundreds of dollars by insisting I turn off all power to my house until the problem (which he diagnosed out of the goodness of his heart) was solved. Even so, I lost the panel to my oven which he miraculously has the part to and fixed. I called other places trying to get the part and installation at a lower fee and a. couldn't find anyone who could get the part fast enough b. find anyone who could get to my house to repair it before a planned dinner party. I'm delighted with Appliance King. He's not the least expensive but you definintely get what you pay for with him.

Description of Work: Have a Kenmore top loader washer with a few issues that made it unusable.by the time this co. Was done with it within an hour it was up and running like a champ. Description of Work: he fixed refrigerator, drier and washing machine on 6/20/2011. The refrigerator was a 'if' not knowing exactly if the problem was solved. As matter of fact, it didn't work and on 7/12/2011 i had to buy a new refrigerator. He owns a retail store and he offered to sell me a new one. I think the price was ok, could have been little lower, but at that point i opted to do it because he is very prompt and efficient.
