About us

Mario Moguel, a self-motivated young immigrant from Mexico moved to the United States 22 years ago with a dream and little more. His plan was simple; learn quickly, never give up and stay positive. Eager to make a life for himself, he pounded the pavement in search of opportunity. Just one day after his arrival, he began the journey to success, landing a position painting for a local company. Mario's enthusiasm and willingness and skills quickly opened many doors for him in several companies, propelling him to the top of the ladder from estimator, supervisor and into management. In 2001, Mario joined forces with his friend / business partner and founded Northern Contracting Inc. For the next 14 years they built an impeccable reputation based on workmanship, quality of service, honesty and integrity. Word of mouth referrals spread like wild fire as they continued serving all areas throughout southwest Florida. In 2015, Mario and his business partner decided to dissolve their partnership in with Mario now being 100% owner of Northern Contracting of SWFL, Inc. Throughout the years, Northern Contracting, Inc had built a reputation as one of the best Painting Contractors in Southwest Florida. Because of this, many developers and contractors focused mainly on these attributes when hiring Northern Contracting of SWFL, Inc. In an effort to rebrand his company so as to include more of the carpentry and construction work, while at the same time maintaining the good name and reputation he had worked so hard to build, Mario changed the name of Northern Contracting of SWFL, Inc. to Moguel Contracting Group, Inc. As Moguel Contracting Group, Inc moves forward, Mario is always aware of how he got where he is now; through loyal and satisfied customers, the support of his highly skilled team of building experts and the multitude of referrals.

MCG, Inc provided a PHENOMENAL paint service for the interior and exterior painting of my home. There crew was on time and had so much professionalism and very clean upon everything they finished. There office staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the field manager made sure to make us happy with little minor things that we might have seen. I recommend this company to anyone that wants good quality work.

Phenomenal! Far exceeded my expectations! Sonia was my field supervisor and she communicated with me every day, the most detailed daily photos and progress reports. Because it is a gated community, I can report that they were prompt starting their work day. The care that was given to covering the flooring was superb! I asked the management of the building to let me know how everything was going mid-week and they said everything was great - no issues. My realtor suggested Mario's company and I have told everyone I've come in contact with how impressed I am with his office staff, Sonia and crew, and Mario, for being the leader of such a great group of people who obviously still know what it means to have a work ethic.
Description of Work: I needed a floor to ceiling paint job for our HighRise Condo. I received 3 bids and Mario's was the most detailed and competitive. On top of that, he was who I "felt" most comfortable with using on a job that would take place in Florida while I was up north. The entire job would rely on reputation, phone calls, texts, emails, and photos to be my eyes.
