Kelly Roofing

This is the second time I have used Kelly Roofing. They are very thorough in inspecting the roof condition from inside and from on top. They explain options, try to keep the cost down and stick to their estimates. Their workmanship is superb. The job is asthetically great, everything put back together like new and the job site spotless. They provide many photos of what parts of the roof were opened, what boards and support sections were rotten, what was replaced with new wood and how it was sealed with membrane covering before the roof tiles were reinstalled. These photos are critical as the homeowner can't keep climbing onto the roof to see what the damage was underneath and what is being replaced at each step. I would recommend Kelly Roofing without reservation, they are an outstanding company and I am happy to spread the word.

Kelly roofing has a wonderful customer service receptionist (Jennifer) who listened to my story about a problem that I tried to get corrected by different roofer, but never was resolved correctly. I had a tile, hip roof that was leaking on the drip edge. I had hired a roofer to fix it and to put up a gutter. The roof edge leaked again after this repair. I had the roofer come back to correct it and it still leaked! Jennifer told me Tony, project manager, would come to my property for an estimate. He reviewed the work from outside and also from inside my attic. He took photos of the work done by the previous roofer and pointed out what had been done incorrectly and why it was still leaking at the drip edge, and showed where new plywood had been nailed, but was not attached to the roof truss during that repair. (the other roofer told me the leaking could never be completely corrected and tried to sell me an entire new roof!) Tony gave me an estimate and we scheduled the work for a time when the weather permitted. Before the work began, I noticed a different leak on a drip edge near the lanai, so I called Tony back to tell me how much additional work would be needed to fix it. He examined it, took pictures, added to the previous estimate and explained that this repair was a different problem. There was a roof flashing that should have been installed in one edge, where a flat roof met the hip roof. Since it was never installed, it got wet under that edge and caused the leak at the drip edge near a gutter. I agreed to the work he recommended and also got a discount for being an Angie's list member. I sent 50% of the payment. The remainder of the payment would be invoiced after we had proof that the repairs were not leaking. Ivan, the project supervisor brought a crew and worked on the one area (repair of the repair) and then came a second time to work on the second area. After two heavy rains, I was satisfied that the repairs were not leaking. I contacted Kelly roofing and they sent Tony over to ensure it was all done correctly. I made the payment of the balance, and all is well!

They took pre and post photos of the job, followed up throughout the process, and exceeded expectations. A great company. Highly recommend!

It took more than 3-weeks to schedule an appointment; however it looks like Kelly Roofing didn't have my information correctly; I purchased 50-feet of gutters for $375.00; which is a good price; local companies charges around $8.00 per feet; company came today and told me that additional feet is $10.00; my house needs around 1700 ft; they told me since they are coming from Naples that could be why the price is so high in compare to local companies; so i felt I was charged an extra fee which I was not told because of the distance; Would I have known that and we would not go with this deal

We obtained an estimate of $375 to make the repairs to the carport roof from Kelly Roofing. We have used Kelly a couple of times in the past and have been very satisfied with their work. The same holds true for this repair. They used a high quality sealer along the seam tape and there have been no leaks since. The crew showed up on time and were very professional.

I used Kelly roofing to repair my roof this past summer and was so impressed by their service I decided to use them again. I could have used a vendor that was recommended by my HOA and saved money but I am convinced that vendor damaged my roof resulting in the need to have Kelly perform the before mentioned repairs. From now on I will let no one on my roof besides Kelly whether it is for inspection, cleaning of roof or gutters and repairs. On this particular job Kelly was on time, professional and as before the communication was beyond compare with any other contractor I have dealt with.

Estimate/proposal appointment was quick, prompt, and informative. work started soon after contract. staff at all levels were courteous and attentive. had to repair one car's tire and replace another car's tire because of nail penetrations from roofing nails on driveway not removed. after old roof removed and new felt paper laid, had leaks which stained the kitchen and bedroom ceilings. they ran out of materials causing a week's delay. materials stored on lawn killed the grass. they eventually finished the project and the roof gets favorable comments from all who pass by. would like to say we'd use them again, but our experience coupled with other's (roof leaks) prevents me from a favorable recommendation. still waiting for settlement on tire replacement and ceiling repairs. contract is paid up except for last 1/4 awaiting settlement. UPDATE: Kelly Roofing credited our balance due for the full amount of the ceiling repainting and the tire replacement, and without dispute or argument. Very professional resolution, for which we paid the balance due after adjustments. Because of this, we have changed our rating to "yes" for "would you use this provider in the future." We have had the ceiling repairs completed. It seems that our project was just plagued with unfortunate problems. All staff at Kelly Roofing both on the job site and in the office were courteous and cooperative at every contact.

PICTURES WERE TAKEN BY THE ESTIMATOR TO SHOW THE PROBLEM. COULD DEFINITELY SEE THE WATER DAMAGE. WHILE TILE ROOF WAS BEING REPAIRED ROOFER TOOK PROGRESS PHOTOS TO SHOW WORK BEING DONE. THIS IS ESPECIALLY NOTEWORTHY AS i AM 78 YEARS OLD AND COULD NOT CLIMB THE LADDER TO VERIFY WORK BEING DONE. OWNER, MR. KELLY, CALLED TO CHECK THAT THE WORK WAS DONE TO OUR SATISFACTION. KELLY ROOFING IS A "KEEPER" FOR FUTURE ROOF REPAIRS. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THEM TO NEIGHBORS. WE GIVE THEM AN A PLUS.

Leak was found, repaired, inspected and completed. From the initial phone call, the job was handled to the utmost of professionalism. and attention to detail through the estimators, proposal with detailed photos, project coordinators, repairmen, supervisors and inspection,

We called Kelly Roofing about a leak in the ceiling and a person came out and did a review. He recommended repairing the entire roof, but we were not in a position to spend that much money right now, so we opted to have the leak repaired. A week later we noticed the water stain on the roof reappear where I had painted over. I called the company to see if this can be corrected under the warranty. Ivan Elias came by on 9/29/2014, a little bit late, but he called me beforehand and told me that this would be the case and when to expect him. He went into the attic and discovered that the previous repair did not fix the leak and he spent about 20 minutes to seal the area where the leak was occurring as covered under the warranty. He was very friendly and professional. He could have scheduled someone to come and do it, but since he was already there and had the tools and it was a minor fix, he did the fix then and there.

Our recently purchased mfd home needed a roof job. Kelly Roofing had done the same type job for us a little over 2 years ago at our previous residence. We were completely satisfied with that job so we got an estimate for the "new" home. We also got a price from another roofer. That price was $1700 higher than Kelly's. We also had Kelly's install a "Suntunnel" (essentially a tubular skylight) in our kitchen. That was about $700 of the total price listed above. They did an excellent job. The price includes a lifetime warranty. Our new roof is rated for 130 mph winds! The entire job went very well with no surprises. The crew and entire staff were very friendly and professional from the initial visit to job completion.

They are the best company that I ever worked with my life. They're really really good. They did a great job. hey were professional. They're nice. They are on time. They are clean. I can't say enough about them.

Kelly does business the way it should be done-with a high degree of professionalism and emphasis on customer service. My roof had been leaking for several months when I called Kelly Roofing. I was concerned that it would be difficult to find the source of the leak, but that concern was quickly put to rest when Jeremy,the Project Manager arrived. Within a few minutes he determined the source of the leak. He took photos, which he used to help explain to me where the leak was occuring and why and later would use as a source of reference for his crew. He told me he would send a quote to me by the end of the day and true to his word, he did. Soon after I accepted the proposal I received an email with detailed information regarding the work schedule and what to expect in terms of noise, debris, etc. The day before the project started I received a courtesy call to remind me when the crew was scheduled to arrive. The crew arrived as scheduled and by the next day had completed the repair. Shortly after the crew left a supervisor came to check the work. He pointed out that there was an area, not part of the scheduled work, that he was going to have his crew come back and fix. He indicated they would take care of it the following week. To my surprise, later that day, one of the crew members arrived and fixed the problem area at no additional charge. Needless to say I am very happy with the service I received.

I signed to have roof done Feb 26 but work was not started until end of March and completed May 16th. They weren't very good about letting me know when material was to be delivered. Luckily, both times my car was out of the garage since metal was on the side of driveway. The last time I couldn't use my garage for almost 2 weeks. When there they worked very hard. I would probably use them again but only with a confirmed start and finish date.

This is one of the most professional companies I have encountered since moving to Florida 3 years ago. They showed up when they said they would, performed the repair when I was out of town and emailed me when they were finished. I would recommend Kelly Roofing to anyone.

They were terrific. They were first class. They were one of the most professional company's I ever dealt with. Their web presence in getting back to me through emails and thank you'd and scheduling and the person who gave the estimate who came out was quite excellent, well versed, knowledgeable and very friendly. I was very impressed with them.

We have not had any work completed yet. We will probably use them though

This company came to my house to give me an estimate. I am new to the roofing repair situation so I have called multiple companies to get an idea of what I need and how much it would be. So far I have spoken with and received estimates from six companies. Kelly Roofing's estimate was a lot more than what the other companies quoted --- in some cases double! When I called the office to question this quote I was told that people have said they charge more than other companies. The lady I talked with seemed to feel they deserve to charge so much more. My response is --- please shop around before you choose this company! There is no need to pay so much more money.

They were on time and very professional and courteous. The project scheduling and management by Vicky in the office was nothing short of outstanding. I have never experienced such attention to detail and great communication from a contractor before. This is a company that truly understands the meaning of outstanding customer service. I have already recommended them to several of my friends.

Overall quality and workmanship was excellent. The whole process took about a month, and was time lined very well. They were most efficient. The workmen worked very hard, even in extreme heat. The only problem was caused by some nails that were not picked up.

Provider was located on Angie's List. Provider was contacted but did not respond for two weeks. Finally project manager set appointment and made proposal on March 20th. Proposal was higher than other proposal received but was very professional. Tony knew what the issue was and how to correct it. We also had $75 off coupon as Angie's List members. First scheduled day for work, a week later, work could not be completed, it rain and message left on the door. Next week the work was completed and my wife arrived home as the crew was leaving. When she asked the crew leaders why the shingle color was so much lighter he said "that how it was and she could take it up with the boss." I then contracted Kelly Roofing and after a few calls Tony agreed to come back to the house and look at the job. When he finally arrived, two weeks later, he agreed they had used the wrong color shingles and they would fox the problem. We had already paid half down and after talking with Tony contracted the Kelly Roofing office and finished paying agreed amount. Probably not the best idea. I had already had to fax the Angie's List coupon to the office twice and had to speak to the office manager. They acted like they never heard of the coupon! There was more delays and more phone calls to Kelly Roofing before the job was finally completed on May 20. Twice on days the job was to be completed I rushed home from work only to find the work not done. Only when I called the office did I learn the work had been rescheduled. The office staff keep saying sorry and they understood my frustration but next time the job was rescheduled they did not call to let me know. The second time the job was done the shingles matched better. However after the crew left I picked up roofing nails( a handful) and cigarette butts that had been left behind. This small job took from March 20th to May 20th to complete. I had to make so many calls to Kelly Roofing that I gave them a speed dial number. While Tony seemed very professional and office staff seemed disorganized. The crew leaders comments to my wife seemed rude and his crew did not clean up very well. Overall the quality of the work looks good but time will tell. I would not use this provider again

My wife and I requested an estimate more than 3 months ago. During this this I called them 3 times and spoke to the same young lady requesting a start date to do job. Each time she told me Jeremy will get back to me. He never did! Update: Jeremy finally got back to me a few weeks ago with an heartfelt apology. Therefore, i have decided to give them a second chance. The job was reschedule for July. To be fair, i will update this review once the job is completed.
