They did an awesome job. The crew of 10 was quick, efficient and communicated well.

They were outstanding. Crew arrived on time. There were 7 or 8 of them . They all knew what to do. They cut down three large pine trees in backyard, hauled them to the curb, chipped them up and cleaned up the area in less than two hours. There price was excellent and I would definitely use them again. I have used other tree services in the past, but Johnson’ Tree Service is the best.

They did a good job with everything. A bit messy with the stump grinding, sprayed all over yard and garbage cans.

Johnson Tree provided a written estimate the same day it was requested, the pricing was excellent in comparison to other quotes obtained, the crew showed up timely and did a fantastic job. We could not be more pleased with Johnson’s and highly recommend them.

They did a good job and finished up quickly. They cleaned up the area afterwards very thoroughly.

It took less than 40 minutes from the time they pulled up in front of the house until they reloaded the equipment back on the trailer after completing the job.

Removed large oak tree and ground stump and large roots to prepare the area for a replacement tree and sod. Not only did they grind the stump but when they discovered a large rock beneath it they then used the grinder to prepare another hole a couple of feet away to allow me to plant my new tree. This is the second time I have used them and both times they have exceeded my expectations as well as being very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!

Called this company several times they asked that we e-mail pictures which we did twice but they said they did not receive them- To make sure my pictures were being sent I sent the same pictures to a friend. This back and forth went on for 3 weeks. When I last spoke to a man about the service I needed he was rude his tone was annoyed not certain what I did and I said that. What I did in response was thank him for talking with me and not using him. I remain perplexed about this entire situation. Given the response I received I could not recommended them

Great, we used the firm last year for removal of a huge black Olive tree that went very well. Selected Johnson's tree service again based upon fair and responsive means to address estimate to doing the work. Very responsive professional crew came in and in a short time had the huge live oak trimmed and the Royal Palm high seed pods and Irma damage taken care of. Work completed with a nice clean up and with a special new machine they ground the stump down so that shrub can be planted.

I called them in the first place because my neighbor's insurance company threatened to hold me financially responsible in the event that any of my pine trees fell and damaged their home in a future storm if I didn't have them ALL removed. I called Johnson's Tree Svc and they explained that my trees were all healthy and there was no validity to the claim that I needed to remove any of them. I ended up removing one of them anyway (and another in a different part of my yard). I felt the cost was a little high for the first tree, but the other tree was cheap, so I felt the combination was fair. They did drive a little machine out back to carry out the logs, which dug up some of my grass plugs that were recently planted, but they were very quick and the workers were polite, professional, and cleaned up all the debris from the fallen trees.

Terrible experience! I would NEVER use this company again. We signed with them stipulating we would need to be notified when they were coming. I needed to move the vehicle and bring my cat in to safety before they arrived.. FAIL . I was awakened by the the sound of chainsaws and limbs falling around my vehicle. With an army of workers already in my yard ,I had no chance of finding my cat. My husband phoned "Dave" who let us know we were lucky he got to us at all! They must still be in Irma mode and used having the upper hand. He wasn't happy happy doing small potatoes job of 900+ dollars. We had called weeks prior and he had agreed to give us notice as to when he would come, he never mentioned the fact that he did not value residential accounts. If he had been honest we could have easily found another company. He did not fulfill his promise and was rude to boot. I still haven't found my cat and I am very upset about that. I chose this company on the merit of the Angie's List website, I'm very sorry about my choice.

We were very satisfied from start (getting an estimate) to finish (cleanup/repair of one broken irrigation pipe)--which was hard not to break due to closeness to trunks. Very impressed with timeliness of crew, professionalism of the crew, work completed by crew. Will definitely use them again when need arises. Dayna was very helpful and provided me with quick visit to site and professionally detailed. The proposal price was significantly higher then what I got from other sources, so I will not use them for this project. But I will call on them for my future needs and appreciate their responsiveness.

This service trimmed some of the small broken branches that were left and others still remain in the tree, left a mess in the yard and broke sprinklers. The owner said they would be back to complete the job but never did. Supposedly the owner is an "arborist" but you would never know it from the poor job they did. I would never use this company again.

It went very well. The people were pleasant and very competent, and they had the latest in stump grinding equipment. We are quite pleased.

Very professional service; trees all trimmed prior to Irma thankfully. This likely saved on storm debris/damage. Would happily hire again.

He did what we agreed to in timely and professional manner.

They were fantastic. they were super fast about responding and super good about responding. They trimmed the tree and raised the canopy and cleaned up the trimmings around it.

If I hadn’t of spent the $350 the week before with the guys who done. They’ve cut down palm trees. They’ve cut down oak trees on the property in the past, but if I hadn’t of called them I guarantee you one of 60 or 70-foot oaks would have been right over in my house. That’s what a lot of people don’t do down here, that they have the real problems, is they don’t want to thin the oaks and when the leaves and limbs gets so compacted it becomes like a parachute. It just catches the wind and tips them right over. Well, I had them in here 4 days before knowing there was a hurricane coming and for $350 he cut a bunch of limbs down and he dragged them out to a chipper and blowed the stuff out onto the truck. When they leave you don’t find a leaf and they were here less than 8 hours and I had some additional limbs during the wind that might have been weak and broke off and hung. That’s what that other guy had to do was climb up 20 feet and finishing cutting them so they would fall on the ground and then take them out to all the trash that’s sitting there for the next six months. What I’m saying is a lot of people don’t want to thin their oaks. They don’t want to spend the money. Well, you spend the money. It’s pay me or pay me later. If you want one in your house, in fact the tree that went in my house was not mine, it was my neighbors, but I’m responsible for it. That’s called an act of God because if there wasn’t a house here, guess what, it wouldn’t have hit anybody’s roof. It would have landed on the ground. It wouldn’t have been no problem. That’s the way they look at it. Johnson’s is very good, and you might know I called them 3 times. I knew that they were going to be inundated and 2 days after that other company left, they called about coming over. You knew it was going to happen as soon as you get it done somebody you really wanted to do it called. It doesn’t mean they could have come then, they might have just put it in their schedule and got to it 6 weeks later. I either called them from work or called them when I got home, and they were here the very next morning. I called them on Monday and on Tuesday, I was at work and the goes I’m here and I said holy Christ I didn’t expect you that quick. I had to call my wife and say, well you’re going to have to pay him with a credit card. So, they were here the next morning and by the time I got home at noon, of course they were done in an hour. Everything was taken away, cleaned up perfectly. I was would give them an A always for everything they’ve ever done for me all the way down the line. I will definitely use them again. I may be using them very quickly because I’ve got one palm that got fairly destroyed. I’m giving it a chance to recover and if it doesn’t recover I’m calling them out. They already took 3 palms down over the years that have died of diseases so with this one being torn up the way it is on the top, I may have to have them come out and cut that off and grind up the stumps and plus they’ve taken down one big oak tree over the years. They’ve done a lot of good work for me over the years. And I’ve recommended them to people on here because we’re on like Home Finder or whatever it’s called. It’s like one of those internal websites so that everyone living in here can talk and say I recommend this guy and or do you know somebody who can do this and we’ve recommended Johnson, my wife is on that I stay away from it, but she puts these people that we use on there and we get some other ones from them.

Outstanding. Hurricane Irma coming. Needed to remove 2 palms that were too close to my house and neighbors. Called FIVE A rated tree services on Angies List on Labor Day. NONE called back except Johnson's. (Still none has called back the day after Labor Day.) Johnsons scheduled tree removal for day after Labor day, called to say on way, showed up, did quick, job w/out destroying plants. NOTE: At one point I considered not cutting down trees but trimming instead. Foreman didn't freak. (He had a huge crew and machines waiting.) We discussed pros and cons... then went ahead and cut down. He was very professional about my vacillating. Good price, professional, quick. Highly recommend.

Excellent. Arrived on day indicated to give estimate/quote. Friendly, professional - the owner. Scheduled at that time, asking to do at the end of the following week when I would be home. Called on Friday about 3pm and crew here at 3:30 and cleaned up and departed by 5pm. Amazingly quick - for there was some real "lumber" in the oaks to be trimmed out.

Called yesterday and left message. Got a return call in an hour with a very reasonable quote. Job was done this morning. A whole crew arrived and per my request did not drive trucks onto the lawn. They were all friendly, professional and focused on the job. They cut down and removed 1 palm, ground the stump and trimmed 11 others. They hand carried all debris out to their trucks on the street (a big job in itself). They even used a blower to get rid of small bits from my lawn. Total job and cleanup took less than an hour. We are doing a happy dance!

We used Johnson's Tree Service for two different projects: once to trim a couple oaks too close to our lanai and once to take out an oak and remove its stump. We talked to a few different tree companies and were really happy we chose Johnsons. Their prices were great. They spent extra time working with us via phone and email to time things when we were going to be in town. When they ground out the stump, it couldn't be finished the first time because the irrigation system had grown into the stump and we needed the hoa to address that; my bad. They coordinated with me to come back and squeeze us in on our timeline with short notice. They did a great, thorough job and even ground out the root system. I was not in Florida when they had to come back for the rest of the stump, and Dayna even called me to let me know they had gotten the job done so I would not worry over the weekend that other work scheduled on Monday would be interrupted. Would use them again in a minute.

Returned my voicemail within an hour, came out that same day to review the work and gave me an estimate right then. Came back the following day and completed the work. Did a nice job and I would hire them again.

Came out the day I called to give an estimate. Got the job done promptly 3 days later. Cleaned up debris. Very pleased.
