Professionally done all around, from the work to the workman. Price was very fair. Would highly recommend Johnson tree service.

They did the work as scheduled, leaving wood for the fire pit and removing the rest, and better yet, were able to remove the dead tree without having to take the palm tree with it, as I had requested. In addition they accomplished the removal without damage to the neighbor's fence, which they had advised might be a problem because of the weakness of the overhanging limbs. Great response, great job, and excellent price.

Johnson's tree service came to give us an estimate the afternoon we called. We accepted their proposal 4 days later, and work was completed 2 days later. Our trees hadn't been trimmed for over a year and were huge. Two crew members were in the trees trimming and at least 5 others were gathering branches to the shredder. Our trees were very overgrown but it's so much brighter and now that they are trimmed. We appreciate the fact that there are certified arborists and very pleased with their work and efficiency! Will definitely hire again!!

He kept putting me off, and after 2 months I finally hired someone else who did it in a timely manner and for half the price.

Excellent prompt service at a reasonable price and very professional

They were prompt, professional and got the job done quickly. There was very little debris left that we had to pick up. They cleaned up and took the fronds and cuttings away. They were very reasonably priced.

It was a difficult job because it was not very accessible. They had to do everything by hand, they couldn't get any equipment in to help them so somebody had to climb up to the top of the tree and saw it. Normally they would use a cherry picker but because of a wall connecting our house and the house next door they couldn't get the cherry picker into the part of the yard where the tree was. They were a bit sloppy I would give them a B. I thought it was an excellent price. They didn't do a real good job of cleaning up.

Great service. In fact, they did so good that my neighbor saw the great work they were doing and asked them to trim his tree too. They did it right then and there for him.

We called to request an estimate on a Saturday. The owner came by within a few hours and gave us a very reasonable estimate that we agreed to. We were told that the work crew would be there within 2 weeks, but probably sooner. The work crew showed up in a week – a group of several industrious men. We had rather extensive tree work done. Several large trees removed. Many tree canopies raised. Many branches from pines, oaks and palms trimmed back or removed. The men worked non-stop for about an hour and a half, cutting, chopping, grinding. All extremely quick and efficient. One man blew the pine needles off of our roof that were left there from the branches that were removed. We are very, very pleased.

They showed up on time, did a great job for a very reasonable price. They were helpful and professional. Even helped me hang a heavy picture on my living room wall when they were done. These trees needed to be lowered, shaped and brought up from the bottom. Everything was done perfectly for me and the trees.

Service was excellent. First called Johnson's Tree Service based on the reviews on Angie's List. David Johnson, the owner, immediately called me back and even came out the same day to see what needed to be done at my house which was super impressive. His crew was able to come out sooner than we expected and immediately got to work removing 8 types of trees as well as some of our old shrubbery. The crew was fast and efficient and knew exactly what they were doing and before I knew it everything had been done. When I called about one minor issue that had not been done after they left David sent someone out within 2 days to take care of it. Super impressed with this company and David who immediately returns phone calls which so many companies fail to do anymore. He owns a first rate company!

Other companies told me it would be 2-3 weeks before they could do the job. Johnson's did it two days after i called them. They were very efficient, cleaned up the debris nicely, and cleaned the trees properly. Great job.

When I called to get an estimate, David came within the hour. I had to wait to get approval from our HOA and once that happened I called and they came the very next day to do the work. They cleaned up all the debris in the yard and in the street. The service I received was beyond my expectations. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

They are incredible! The owner came by an hour after I called to give me an estimate. He was great; pleasant, helpful, and the estimate was very reasonable. When the crew came a few weeks later they too were punctual, very nice, and did a wonderful job right down to the last detail. I will use them again and encourage everyone needing these services to give them a try.

The company was extremely responsive - they arrived the next day to provide an estimate to prune three large oak trees and the work was performed the next week. Overall, the pruning was well done and they removed a lot of air plant clusters growing all over the tree. They were in and out like a SWAT team and cleaned up sufficiently after the job. Unfortunately, there was a loss in communication between the estimator and the work crew and they removed one of the two large lower branches we wanted to save. Perhaps they removed the branch because they felt it was crowding a lemon tree beneath it. We planned to remove that lemon tree anyway, so they probably should have consulted with us before taking down the large branch. My advice: mark any branch you want to save with a tape or ribbon before the crew arrives to prune your tree.

They were very professional , answered my questions (new to Florida about Palm trees), came on time and left my yard spotless, after the trimming. Price was exactly what was told to me.

Returned call with "Someone called me from this number." I told him I had yard waste to be picked up, and he asked where. I told him South Fort Myers area (a big area), and he said it would take three weeks. I guess he's busy. Not very professional, not very friendly. Clearly he prefers to do tree trimming and not yard waste removal, and he didn't want to do this job. No sane customer is going to schedule yard waste removal three weeks out, and it was clear that he was driving and not looking at his schedule; he immediately threw out "three weeks." It's a shame, there could have been a lot of business in the future for him. Good for him, he's too busy to help me.

They returned my initial call immediately. Provided a quote within one day. The trees were gone first thing the next morning. The crew was neat, efficient, polite. They closed the fence gate behind them. It was a very good experience! I would definitely use this company again.

Knowing that I live in an area not always serviced by some professional services, I stated my needs and my location. I could not be more pleased with my experience. I was recommended to contact another company that was located closer to my home. I appreciate the candor and professionalism that I received. If they treat potential customers this way just on a free estimate phone call, I can imagine the quality of their work when they are hired!

The staff was professional, courteous, and VERY efficient. The trees look great! The clean-up afterwards was meticulous.

The owner came to the house and knew his product. My trees were never trimmed right in 12 years. Certified arborist makes all the difference and is worth paying for. Many can do it cheaper but these guys do it right!! You need an arborist not a landscaper on your trees. The best!!

My husband called and left a message. The call was promptly returned and the owner (?) said he'd be out Monday afternoon. He arrived about 5:00 that day and he and my husband surveyed the property. He correctly noted that the trees in question had never been pruned and were badly in need. My husband was impressed by the comments that he made... He could correctly identify certain events simply by looking at the trees. He also gave a good education as to why certain limbs looked the way they did, broke the way they had, etc. He clearly really knows his stuff! He made a note of which trees to work on and what was (and was not) to be done to them, and then quoted a price - commenting that it was relatively high because of the extensive work that needed to be done, and we felt that it was fair. (He also noted that, if we stuck to an "every 3 years" schedule as recommended, it should be around $300-350 a year in the future.) He said he'd have a crew out the next day, and they arrived just before 9:00 am. The crew leader came to the door and verified with me which trees were to be worked on, and then they got to it. The equipment was pulled out and the ladders went up. Workers dragged large limbs to the curb where their big wood chipper (pulled by their truck, and left curbside and well-marked for traffic with cones) devoured the branches quickly. It took them (maybe) 90 minutes or so to complete the entire job at which point the crew leader returned to the door with an invoice. I paid with a check, he marked the invoice, and off they went - leaving nearly no indication of the huge job they'd done. We pulled a few small, wayward branches out of the bushes, but otherwise they did a really remarkable clean up job. And the trees? They look amazing! Beautifully shaped, nicely pruned and thinned out. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat and have already passed their contact info to neighbors.
