At Don DeFlavis Construction our specialty (favorite) project is Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling. For those needing extra room in their home, we offer complete Interior Renovation and Room Additions. With 3D renderings we provide in-house Design services to help you visualize the before and after of your project. The owner Don DeFlavis has a vast amount of construction knowledge and experience in custom home building, and residential remodeling. Don has been a state certified General Contractor since 1984, and has been a full time resident of the Naples/Bonita Springs area since 1979. Don grew up in the Sarasota/Bradenton area and is very familiar with the specific building codes and requirements in South West Florida. Our mission statement is to provide superior quality construction and excellent customer service at fair prices. We strive to listen carefully to our customer’s wants and needs to create beautiful designs and finished products, while providing above average attention to detail and customer service. Very unprofessional
Description of Work: Don came out for an estimate, never provided us with an estimate and when telephoned to ask if he was going to supply us with an estimate, he said, "I thought you weren't interested. These estimates take a lot of time and effort to complete." He then offered to send us an estimate and I told him to not bother. Very unprofessional.

First let me say the customer I am sorry for any misunderstanding. I spent approximately 1.5 hours discussing your project at your home. I came up with some very good design Ideas which no one else had discussed, and you liked a lot. I also pointed out how removing a A/C duct chase would not have worked as proposed by another company. If you remember at the end of our meeting I showed you and your wife my samples of Cabinets which I sell. Your wife was not happy with any of the door colors in the line. I offered to use an alternate custom line that would finish cabinets in any color desired for an up charge. I understood at that point that you were only interested in the normal line cabinet, not a premium line. I mentioned that the only way I could see to move forward would be to use an alternate source of cabinets like the big box stores. I really was not sure how to proceed at this point. When you called a few days later, you mentioned that out of 5 company's you had contacted only 1 gave an estimate. I explained I can not answer for anyone else but in my case, that to spend the time to estimate the job in a line of cabinets you did not like did not seem like a good use of my resources, and would waste my time and yours. I offered to proceed estimating with you purchasing the cabinets from another source and I would do the other work, and install there cabinets, which at that time your comment was "not to bother you would move on". Description of Work: Mike and Don who are partners were excellent. I had a kitchen put in by someone else last summer and they didnt do the best job so I called Don and he came exactly when he said he would. He was flexible and worked around my schedule as I am not a permanent resident. He and Mike gave me the estimate and that is what I paid. They did alot of molding to hide mistakes and caulking and adding filler to my cabinets so that the dishwasher, washer and dryer and wine fridge now look like they were built in and finished really nicely. They were courteous and proffessional, funny and worked quickly. They installed my new dishwasher and it was a difficult install as the cabinets done by the previous guy were not easy to work with however, Mike researched what was needed and came back and probably spent more time working on it than I paid for but he wanted me to be happy with the job and I was - it looks totally built in. They had some great suggestions for how to make the kitchen woodworking look finished which is what I wanted. They devised this removable filler piece beside the washer and the wall so that I can get in there if need be to get at the hoses. They cleaned up everything perfect when they left. Both Don and Mike responded quicly via email which really meant alot as I was on a tight schedule. Just really had a great experience with Don and Mike. . I have used other "handyman" like the Handyman at Heart and Tom's handyman service and Don and Mike are a way way better.
