It was a little difficult to set the appointment but once they came out they were very professional and got the work done.

The day I called I left a voicemail and they called me back and spoke to my wife. They told my wife that he would call back to schedule an appointment and never did. At this point we are yet to hear back from them.

Over all, it went very well. Planning was easy, workers were all professional and skilled, everything happened when I was told it would happen, and contact with Mr. DeFlavis was frequent and easy.

Don completed the project as planned-on budget, and on time. The new door looks great!

Don came over and gave us a very detailed and professional estimate. We needed to have a new closet installed in a bedroom. His staff built the studs and drywall(his drywall guy is fantastic!) and cleaned up after each day. They also ordered the correct closet doors and shelving . He started when he said he would and finished in a timely manner. He has excellent attention to detail and is very thorough in his work. I would definitely recommend Don Deflavis for any home remodeling project.

I needed an experienced licensed contractor to lay a foundation for an addition. My property and Dons choice of area to work was the first of compatible parts. After viewing the blue prints we discussed the timing and details and availability and all fell into place from there on. There was no delay and no flaws as the base was there for me to continue.

The original scope of this project was to reconfigure some interior walls that allowed for a larger walk-in closet in the master bath, and a more efficient working environment for my home office. Don came out and inspected everything thoroughly, made great suggestions, and readily understood exactly what we wanted done. His written quote was well prepared and outlined everything in specific detail. I signed the contract, and was only asked for a modest up-front payment, with a very reasonable draw schedule. The project was started exactly on the date promised, and everything started out very smoothly. Once the project was underway, I became very impressed with the quality workmanship and professionalism of everyone involved. So, I started thinking, what else do I need done around the house??? Long story short ......I needed a lot of things done!!!! Furthermore, I knew Don and his team were the ones I wanted to stick around and do it all. We ended up completely remodeling the entire master bathroom from floor to ceiling.There is not a single thing left from the original master bath! Don was very instrumental in making great recommendations, and helped us select everything with his expert advice. My thoughts kept expanding, and by the time all was said and done, almost every room in my 5 bedroom/3 bath home had something done. Heck, even the garage and lanai were thrown in with additional items. Throughout the entire process I was asking Don for additional services, and he never missed a beat. He always remembered everything I asked for, and made sure everything was well synchronized and coordinated. Even despite all the additional work I threw at him on an ad-hoc basis, Don was able to blend it right into the existing work schedule, so the project was never delayed. Throughout the project, Don was very accommodating. All of the extra work I added on was done at very reasonable prices. There was never any of the typical "change order" add-on ripoff fees that you see from other contractors. Don's biggest concern during the entire project was that he maintained a satisfied customer. My goal in writing this review on Angie's List is simply to let everyone know that I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE ENTIRE PROJECT.....EVERYTHING IS PERFECT!!!! This was the perfect combination of very skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work, extremely efficient project management, and great communication throughout the project. In closing, I would like to extend special recognition to the following people who worked on the project: THE DRYWALL TEAM - unbelievable craftsmanship and pride in their work. I have a 20' wall in my main living room. These guys cut out and replaced a 6' opening right in the middle of the wall. I guarantee you that there is no way you can tell where it was. Same for a 3' opening that they closed off in my office. No matter how close you inspect, it all looks like the original wall. Amazing job guys! THE TILE MAN - spectacular eye for details. Laid out the the tile floor in perfect fashion. Looks absolutely amazing. ADAM - The amazing do-all person of the team. I even let him choose the colors for my office, and couldn't be happier. "Mr. Steady Hands" with a paintbrush..............no overspills anywhere in any room.........awesome paint job. All the bath accessories were professionally installed, as was the new closet shelving. Extremely conscious and takes great pride in his work. DON - the owner. Tremendous project management, communication and logistic skills. Always kept things flowing smoothly and with no delays. Very reasonably priced. All products delivered (including bathroom cabinets, quartz countertop, and even the drop down ladder in the garage) were of HIGHER QUALITY than I expected. Never takes short-cuts. Makes sure everything is done right the first time. THANKS TO ALL WHO WORKED ON THIS PROJECT...........I WILL SEE YOU IN OCTOBER WHEN WE DO THE ENTIRE KITCHEN REMODEL - I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

I needed an installer for a vanity, top & mirror purchased at Lowe's. I had a very small window of time from when the material was delivered until house guests were arriving. Don's company came in, unpacked everything, got the vanity & top installed & hung the mirror for 1/2 the price of the Lowe's installer. They were efficient, clean & did a great job. Had a party a week later & a contractor friend of mine was there & he was impressed when he saw their work.

He was great. He was really good. He was professional. He was polite. I highly recommend him.

Don and his team showed up for work on time and started the job when promised. Kept site as clean as possible, and got rid of the construction waste, because I live in a condo and there are rules about no construction waste in the dumpsters. He listened to my concerns and made revisions when necessary. I got what I wanted, and my kitchen came out great!

See above. We needed some kitchin remodeling plus door repairs. I called Don on advice of a friend. Don came out, spent over two hours talking to me and checking items to be fixed and/or installed. He was back with an estimate in two days, started the project a week later and completed project within the time he estimated. I was completely satisified with his work and honesty and would recommend him to anyone who asks.

Don DeFlavis Construction, llc did a remodeling job for us that we are absolutely thrilled with. Mr DeFlavis and his company are very professional. They responded to my phone calls and any concerns in a timely manner. His crew was courteous and keep the work area very clean during this project. The project was done on time and for a fair price. I will defiantly call them again for any future projects.
