I interviewed several companies and was completely impressed by their honesty and straight forward communication. Always communicated with me and responded immediately. Were considerate of my time and availability and always let me know when they would be at the house. Excellent subcontractors. Michael Pherson was overseeing every step of the project and would accept nothing less than perfection. I am totally thrilled with the outcome, and with the whole process. Definitely would call them again for any remodeling. An excellent experience.

From the first phone call everything was professional and prompt. When I first called Don, he told me he was about to leave town for a week, would be back on the 16th and could contact me when he returned. I told him that would be fine and on the 16th he called, We set a time for his Drywall contact Bill to come to my house and offered if time came available beforehand they could call and possibly come out earlier. My schedule is not flexible right now, so we held to the original date and time. The time I was given was between 8 and 8:30 a.m., they arrived at 7:55 am. Bill had 2 gentlemen with him, they assessed the job and determined that it was a one man job. Dewey stayed to do the job. He was professional, courteous and wasted no time getting to work on my ceiling. He worked quickly and efficiently. Within 2 hours of original arrival he was done, Bill had come back, they cleaned up and were out of my house. You would never know they had been there, except my ceiling looks perfect! Communication is the best! Don, Bill and his crew are all super nice, professional and courteous! I have another job I need done at the house and I will use Don and his Company for the job!

Don came out to my home, met with me and he never came out for the follow up appointment or returned any email or phone calls from me Very disappointing.

The contractor was very timely in trying to set up a time for the work and was available to answer questions. From reviewing pictures and discussing the project, the work will cost much more than we expected so we're not able to move forward at this time.

Did not have this company do the work - too expensive and door quality was poor with wood cores.

The guys came in on time. did all the work professionally, and did the work with great quality. They also offered me some tips when I had questions about maintaining the drywall in my house. I do recall being told they were experts at the knockdown texture when I was scheduling. I definitely would agree that they are experts at texturing and most importantly I was extremely happy with the work they accomplished. I would definitely call them again if needed. Finally, the guys were good natured, clean, friendly, trustworthy, and took steps to ensure my home remained clean/undamaged by their work.

Everything went perfectly from my first phone call to see if Don could come out and give me an estimate. He came out right away. He was on time, courteous and professional. As noted above he not only addressed my ceiling inside, but took the time to walk outside to see from where the problem may have originated on my roof and he was spot on with his assessment. His estimate was absolutely fair and I will definitely call in the future with any work around my home!

Don DeFlavis built our addition about 13 years ago and did a great job, so we knew we'd be interested in talking to him again, among others. Their price, wasn't the least expensive, and they weren't the most. But they were definitely the right choice for us, again. Our kitchen remodel In a word - amazing. They went so far beyond our expectations, not only in their ideas, but in the quality of their craftsmanship, that we are elated with the results. From a customer service point of view, both Don and Mike were constantly in at our disposal by text, email or call. Mike was the one that oversaw the work, Don was the person we initially spoke to and handled the administrative stuff. You can tell they've both been in it a long time and know how to listen and then suggest. I really can't say enough about the actual work. The small details and the large things were done with care and attention. I can probably let the picture speak for them selves and say it better than I can. Each day, my wife and I pinch ourselves because we can't believe how great it turned out.

I called and called and called and never got an estimate, if I was you I will go with a company that will answer their phone and get back to you when you need them, horrible company to do business with. I WILL NOT HIRE THEM .....

Saw Don's information. Emailed him. Received a prompt response. He had questions about the job. I answered them and he responded again promptly. He did the work for us. We were pleased with the job.

They showed up on time and prepared. Bill was professional and a perfectionist. The project came out better than expected.

He was a very nice person, very professional, but we did not see eye to eye on what we wanted done. We felt he was suggesting top of the line ideas. We had told him we wanted a mid range remodel and not top of the line. He did try to suggest things, but like I said, we were on different pages and could not get on the same page. We got the feeling he did not want our job because we were not going to be spending enough money. We had about 30,000. to spend. Nice guy, just not for us.

Job not started or finished, as he didn't have equipment needed for the job.

We were having trouble with our double doors closing securely. The home, and doors are 30 yrs. old and the doors were not closing well as the top of the doors were hitting each other as the bottoms of the doors were gaping further apart. The person from DeFlavis came and fixed the alignment of the doors and also was able to help fix some kitchen cabinet door hinges as well. Overall we are happy with the work that was done.

They were here all day. They took the frame and everything in. They did a good job. I had them give me an estimate on a bathroom remodel but I thought it was a little high, but they were very good on the door. I had to tell them to reinforce it in one particular spot which I was kind of surprised because I had special locks put in and the frame was short so they were just going to put the locks in; I said I could get those in, so probably not a 5. I thought I'd give them a 4. I thought the price was good.

When I scheduled the appointment, I spoke with the owner of the company (Don) and let him know that I was really looking to have some pocket doors fixed and other small projects that I wanted to have completed within the 2 hours that I purchased. The technician, Bill, showed up today at 8:45 a.m. He fixed the pocket door in about 45 minutes. I left to go to the store to get some paint and a specific type of sand paper that Bill had told me to get. When I arrived back home after about 10 minutes, Bill was gone. He left approximately at 9:35 a.m. As Bill was leaving, my wife asked him if his time was up and he said yes. She said he was very abrupt and rude. I called the company and spoke with Jessie. She said that all I requested to have done was the pocket door. I told her that I purchased 2 hours so I had more projects than just the pocket doors lined up for him to do. I don't feel comfortable having Bill or anyone from the company back in our home. We are willing to pay for an hours work of service from the coupon. When I spoke with Jessie in the office, she said I would have to call Angie's List.

Don completely rebuilt a 20 year old shower with new floor tile, new wall tile and a new door. Finished product looks great and we are very satisfied.

It was great! Mr. DeFlavis was very professional and was willing to do whatever was necessary. However, the purchase of the home didn't go through, so we didn't need his services.

Well, he didn't install, he didn't set the door and again it wasn't a good experience.

Contractor showed up on time as scheduled. Was careful to contain the area as much as possible to limit the dust. He cleaned up every night after he was done for the day. Corrected any minor or major problem along the way. Offered valuable suggestions which we found very helpful and useful. The plumber, drywaller, tiler, and the electrician subcontractors they employed were also efficient, timely and friendly. Their work was performed up to expectations.

We believe Mr De Flavis is good at his job and very busy but a reply would no take so much time.

I was in a pinch and Don came trough for me! I bought the deal for 2 hours and they completed the work for me without charging me any additional money! Dons reponse time is off the chart...great!!!! , Craftsmanship, professionalism and work ethic are bar none!
