Contract was signed and work done in less than 30 days! I contacted Karl in November while I was in Florida for a few weeks, signed a contract online, made a down payment by telephone, was contacted less than 2 weeks later to have framing installed and it was complete in 1 day. Then less than 2 weeks after that a call and the doors were in and could be installed that day. I approved the work and paid final bill on returning to Fl. after New Years.

These people are great. The original window disintegrated on the day before I was headed north for the summer. I called several providers, including the one on my builidng's preferred provider list. Received a range of responses, which included services providers claimed were required by my town's regulations. After talking to my town's department of buildings and understanding the true requirments, I kept looking and fiinally found Builder's Glass. The entire team is straightforward and professional. Their quote was signifcantly less that anyone else, and their end product as good or better than some replacements I've seen in my builiding. I knew I had found the right provider when they quoted back to me the same permitting and inspecitioon requirements the buildings department had. This job was done under emergency conditions. I am planning more work, and will absolutely call Builders Glass first.

They were great. They showed up right away to do the measure. Then after a couple of days they came out to do the install. No excuses, no drama, no long delays or long tales of woe as to why they couldn't do this, that and the other - they just came out and did the work and everything was smooth even though getting out the wood panels was not all the easy. The guys were very nice, polite and timely - just what we hope for in a service worker.

Only asked about services and about glass cutting. spent considerable time with me on the phone explaining the differences between shatterproof, tempered, treated and regular pane glass and which glass can be used for different applications as table tops, vanities , drilled/not drilled, and rounded and polished/grinded on the edges. More helpful than anyone I have contacted here in Naples.

They charged me $90 just to change the balancers on a window. I feel like that was way too expensive. If I ever use them again, I will make sure to get an estimate first.

We had a bird crash into our kitchen window and this company responded immediately with a replacement window. The price was right, and the service crew courteous and efficient. One, two, three and DONE. We also like working with a family-run business as we have one too.

The work was well done. Their personnel were pleasant. Workmanship was excellent. The only problem was getting them to be responsive. I had asked that they notify us when the panels were shipped so we could arrange for installation. Only after I called for status a week after planned delivery did they respond. The panels had already been delivered and they hadn't yet called to set up installation. Their price included a $50 Angie's list discount but still was expensive due to the 'cost' of the panels from the maker. Inability to keep customers informed seems to be endemic in this part of Florida.

I called them the day before a holiday and the piece was ready the day after the holiday. I paid, & picked up the pieces. It was very simple. Very, very easy to work with. Will use again.

They matched the glass. It was very nice and reasonably priced. It was also finished when they said it would be done

Finally a company that followed through! We live in a condo in Naples and Builders Glass had enclosed the lanai's of some of or neighbors with Sliding Glass Doors. Everyone spoke very highly of them. I called for an estimate and was impressed that the owner was the one to come to my home. Very nice gentleman. He got back to me with in a couple days with the estimate. We had another price that was slightly lower than Builders Glass but they were a newer business and I have had bad luck in the past, as companies seem to come and go quickly in this area. I believe Builders Glass is a family owned business for over 25 years. I felt confident they knew what they were doing and would be around in the future if we ever had a warranty issue. Karl was extremely knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and helped guide us with suggestions. * Glad we went with Builders Glass over the other company whose price was slightly less. I have heard they are since out of business. They required a 1/3 deposit which I felt was reasonable. They were very close on the lead time promised. I was very pleased with that. Wendy in the office was great, she did all the scheduling of the work. The installation went incredibly smoothly. Within 2 days our Lanai was transformed into a glass room that we can now air condition and use more often. We can open it all up and have a lanai or close the doors and use it as a room. The quality of the doors is great. These doors slide so smooth which is amazing considering the weight of them due to the hurricane glass. Watching the installation crew lift them I realized how heavy duty they are. We also changed out a few windows to Hurricane windows. I was concerned that the change out might damage my drywall or stucco. They replaced 4 windows in one day and left no trace of a mess or any damage to the stucco. I believe this had a lot to do with the installation crew. The crew that did our job was a father and son team. I could tell they were very experienced. After talking to them I found out that the father, Randy, has been working for Builders Glass for nearly 25 years. His son has been working with him for over 10 years. I couldn't believe that they have been with the company so long! I think this really says a lot about this family owned business, they must be great people to work for.

Their crews are always professional and friendly and they work quickly and cleanly. Their prices are better than more highly promoted companies. After doing the sliding glass door work a piece of weatherstripping came loose and they came back and had to remove the door again, but no additional fee.

Karl came out as scheduled and gave me an estimate to replace the double-pane glass (fixed upper pane) that had developed a leak, and also to replace the balancers in the lower window. He told me that the window would be in within two weeks and that he'd contact me regarding installation. I gave him a 1/3 deposit. Three weeks later I called the shop and was told that someone would get back to me that day. Nobody did. When I hadn't heard from them for another week, I called again and was told that the glass was in. We made an appointment for installation. The day before the scheduled installation I got a call and was asked if they could install that day (a day early) since they had an opening. After expressing my amazement that a contractor actually wanted to come a day early, I told them to come right away. From that point on the work went smoothly and efficiently. The workmen were neat, clean, and efficient. The old window broke while being removed and they cleaned up all the broken glass. Unfortunately they were not able to remove the lower window in order to replace the balancers because of the way my plantation shutters are installed (not their fault). I guess the best way to describe their work is extremely professional. Were it not for the issues with scheduling, I would have rated this business "A"s straight down. I would definitely call them again for future repairs.

The estimator from Builders Glass, George Mercurio, arrived promptly, and submitted a proposal whch I immediately accepted. The following week the mirrors arrived, were installed efficiently. The effect exceeded my expectations.

They ran into some time issues because of weather issues. They were really good about communications and dealt well with on-site property management company. The office staff was courteous. We did have to prompt them to send the bill for the work. They had good pricing as well.

Two men removed the broken glass, replaced the tinted glass (had to be cut on-site) and re-installed the window. Builders Glass is not inexpensive ... but, you get professional work performed by knowledgeable tradesmen. We will call these people again if we need window or door work.
