Andy showed up same day and did an excellent job. he was friendly & professional. I would definitely call on him again.

He was prompt. Work performed efficiently. Wiring was installed with the least visibility. We were consulted at each step to be sure the work was to our satisfaction.

Arrived before he said he would and got right to work. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He worked fast. However, I think his price for the work was very high. I guess you get what you pay for.

I had an ADT Pulse security system installed directly by ADT which went very well. However, there was an additional $200 charge for a licensed electrician to install a Z-wave thermostat. I thought this rather high so I called Young Electric for assistance. The owner described why the cost could be this high but also explained that if certain things were in place he could do the installation for less. This was the case so his work saved me $75. Also, he was on time, clean, organized and to my surprise, made sure the thermostat was placed square on the wall.

I made a last minute call to get some work done and Andy came over right away to do the work. He was professional and explained what he did. Would definitely use him again.

Did a great job installing new ceiling lights with existing wiring, in addition, fixed a couple of other problems we had. Great Job! Nice Guy, will definitely recommend and hire again in the future. Thank You!

Everything was handled promptly and thoroughly. And I got some good advice too.

He came right away after we called him. He offered us suggestions. After informing us of the pros and cons of replacing or partially fixing our old electrical box, we opted to replace it. He did so within a day or so. when we thougt we were having a problem with it he came right back and looked over everything. the problem was not the box but our air conditioning unit was causing the circuits to break. He charged us nothing for the hour or so it took him to check out everything. I would recoomend him to anyone who needs electrical work done.

Badabing-badaboom! Checked, analyzed, identified, diagnosed, explained, and referred onward to the next specialists I would be needing. I will be contacting Mr. Young within the next couple of weeks to do some work on several wobbly wall outlets and a couple of ceiling fans that were not properly grounded when installed (before I bought the house). If you are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, honest, and professional electrician, I sincerely recommend Mr. Young.

Very professional and experinenced

Young Electric was recommended by my next door neighbor, who has used the company in the past. I checked their reviews on Angie's List and saw that 99% of their customers were extremely happy with the service they received, so I decided to contact them. I called around 900AM on a Saturday morning thinking I would get an answering machine and would leave a message for a call back on Monday. Instead I reached the owner, Andy Young, who answered immediately. I told him what I needed done and where I lived, and he happened to be doing work at an address close by and said he could do the job today if I wanted and would stop by before 1PM (on a Saturday with no extra charge). He actually ended up showing up an hour earlier than I had anticipated, which was an added bonus for me. This electrician charges by the job not by the hour, so he will actually give you a price quote before he does the work. Andy Young is the owner/operator of this company and he does the electrical work himself. He was able to complete the entire job in about 15-20 minutes. He was a pleasure to deal with and highly professional. He came prepared with everything he needed (including the new four pronged socket) and quickly completed the job. I would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them for other electrical work. The price wasn't inexpensive but the work was done very professionally and there were no suprises.

Andy came the same afternoon that I called. I appreciated his responsiveness. Price seemed a little high for the amount of time he was here, but he IS a licensed electrician, and I expect to pay for that expertise.

My hotwater heater's circuit breaker would not stay on...I 1st called FPL and they came out but could not find a problem with any of their equipment, and suggested I call an electrician. The next day I called Young Electric and they came right out...he got the breaker to stay on and suggested I call FPL back to check the ON Call switch...which I did. FPL came out to check it out again and discovered it was the ON Call box, they removed it and agreed to reimburse me for the service call from Young Electric...I am very happy with FPL & Young electric Co. Everyone involved was very helpful and responsive. And I have hot water again!!!

I contacted Andy a few weeks ago about installing a Manual Transfer Switch for my generator. I had to buy it myself because TS Isaac was on its way and they were hard to get. I found one online and Andy showed up the following day right on time. Unfortunately, the kit was defective from the manufacture and I had to exchange it. Andy came back the following week. He is prompt, professional and he takes pride in his work. He answered his phone every single time and answered all emails. Good sense of humor as well.

Mr. Young worked with me to figure out which circuits in the house should be able to access the generator. He also had to work around the particular generator I bought, which required a different plug. He did a solid job and explained everything to me well. There are other things I have to do to finish the project (outside of what he does), and he offered suggestions as to how to get them done. We also had some great conversations. A very good guy, and a fair price especially considering the amount of time he put in.

I would be happy to recommend him to anyone that needs electrical work. He arrived promptly. He is courteous. He has a better sense of humor than I do.
