Description of Work: This was my first attempt using Angie's List. I joined to gather info for getting contractors to start a bathroom remodel project. Must say getting a electrician was a failure. I think I wasted my money! I researched Angie's list, and based on the reviews, Young's Electric appeared to be the best choice for the work I needed. I called, spoke to the owner about replacing a old fuse panel, and adding 20A service to one of my bathrooms. Said he had to go do something and would call me right back. Later in the day his son called and I gave him the info along with my name, address, and phone number. It's been a week now and I haven't heard anything from them. Guess they don't need the work!

Description of Work: Andy installed several light fixtures and new outlets, including the repair of older outlets. He also installed 3 celing fans. He was professional, capable, punctual and polite. He also interesting suggestions about other possible work and seemed kowledgeable. I would use him again.

Description of Work: Diagnosed and repaired loss of power to bathroom. It was a complicated problem that he figured out quickly and repaired quickly. Pleasant guy, excellent communication skills, fast, smart.

Description of Work: Andy was GREAT - just as all the previous reviews had said. He put a new exhaust fan into my master bathroom. Very polite, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Did an awesome job. Cleaned up afterwards. It looks beautiful! When I first called, he directed me as to what to purchase for a fan, explaining all of the details and components (I never knew!). He showed up on time, did the job, and left - quick and easy and painless. I'm very happy I found Andy. I will certainly recommend him to family, friends, and the community. Thank you!

Description of Work: installed new electric outlet

Description of Work: IThree months ago I had outside lighting installed by a landscaoing service that hired an electrician to work on the outside socket. After the reecent rain storm, power in the socket went out. Rather than calling back the same electrician, I searched from Angie's List and found Young Electric on Saturday morning. Andy Young came out hours later, discovered that the socket should have been rain protected but wasn't and became consequently shorted. He replaced the electrical component inside the socket and placed a bubble rain protection around it to prevent this from happening in the future. There was no weekend overtime charge and the bill was very fair. Andy was very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely responsive. I found myself an electrician for future needs. I'd highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Andrew responded to an inquiry re adding the electrical to convert a propane pool/spa heater to an electrical hea pump requiring a new 50 amp line. We also had some other inquiries re inside home lighting placements. Andrew was very helpful in recommending interior lighting alternatives and especially gave us the needed input to realize that we were better off sticking with the propane heater since bringing in a new 50 amp line was cost prohibitive. Andrew is a real pro and a pleasure to deal business with.
