We Move On Demand

One of the best service experiences we have ever had. We were still packing during the move and were able to get everything in the truck, saving about ten car trips we thought we would have to do later. Can't say enough about how pleased we were with the whole experience from arranging a move over Thanksgiving holidays with Arthur to the truck and A plus moving men working and working with us. They arrived on time and finished the job in less time than we expected. Totally more than satisfied with experience!

I needed to move out of my two BR apartment and into my new home. A year ago my company relocated me from the north east to Florida so the whole moving experience is still fresh. Since I had sufficient notice I chose to pack everything into boxes and save a few bucks. I got three estimates with one from a nationally backed company locally owned. One was higher than On Demand Moving and one lower. Arthur showed up for the estimate a little early despite getting re-routed by his GPS and quickly assessed the job and gave me a written quote on the spot. He stated it would take between 6-8 hours. I expressed concern about the time it would take and he crossed out the time limit and gave me a firm price. I am a person that feels better knowing what things will cost. Arthur is a pleasant man and exuded confidence in his business and his quote. He showed me a picture portfolio including the way my belongings would be treated, his liability insurance and multiple year awards from Angie?s List, who does that? As a side note I used to have a small business with 18 employees, I know what it takes to compete, hire and retain competent workers, and pay workers compensation. Arthur struck a note that reminded me of the battle I had just to stay in business. I decided to go with Arthur?s On Demand Moving; he juggled his schedule to accommodate moving me on a Thursday. On moving day the driver, Hector, called me to inform me he was running a little behind schedule due to traffic I assume. At any rate he called, that is the key. When they arrived they were shown the premises and got right to work. Hector, Brandon and Gletson (I hope I got your name spelled correctly my Brazilian friend) descended on the job like they were possessed, I saw Brandon actually running between the truck and my apartment! I should mention it was up an interior stairwell and I have a few solid pieces including a king Tempurpedic mattress. Arthur even made a cameo appearance to ensure things were going smoothly. Every piece of furniture was wrapped in clean blankets and secured with tape and/or plastic wrap. These guys work together extremely well with little talking and zero wasted time. I had to coax them into taking a water break. At my brand new house the crew got to work and asked for direction where to place everything. A heavy Ethan Allen computer cabinet gave them trouble going up the stairs and Hector solemnly informed us they had dinged the drywall; he was upset with himself and expressed genuine concern for the faux pas. I checked it out and it is a simple swath of drywall mud and a dab of paint to fix it, no big deal. I did find a small scratch on the footboard of my bed. Hector said their furniture touch up person would take care of it and I am sure he will. Folks if you are on the fence with this company I say go for it, you will not be disappointed. Arthur knows what he is talking about; his quotes are accurate almost to the quarter hour. I can?t say enough about his crew, good hard working guys that treated us with respect. They care for and respect your belongings, I got the impression this is more than just a job for them. I trust On Demand Moving and so can you. Thanks for a well done job.

Used them for a local move in broward. They were courteous, professional and nothing got broken or damaged. I had some heavy wall units and they had no problem. I plan to use them again next year. I found them to be reasonably priced and competent.

All 3 of our moves were great. They stayed on schedule and got the job done!!!

The entire experience was phenomenal. It started by speaking with Arthur who was polite and professional. I emailed him pictures of all the furniture to be moved and gave him an estimate of the boxes to be moved. After reviewing the pictures and calculating mileage, Arthur gave me a quote that i found to be reasonable. We picked a date and he emailed me a deposit-reservation form immediately thereafter. The movers arrived on-time and with clean trucks. The movers were quiet, polite and did not stop working until the truck was loaded. All items were thoroughly wrapped and padded. The unloading process was just as smooth. Although I hope that I never have to move again, if I must, then I will definitely give these guys a call. It is not surprising that they get all A's all the time!

Showed up on time, three men with a truck, paid by the hour, and wasted no time. Offered to help with everything, used extraordinary care. Very professional, and extremely hard working. This is the best moving company I have used, and would use them again without hesitation.

The move went well the movers were curtious and quick. There was no damage to the furniture or to the house. They were very careful. They placed the furniture where we wanted it and stayed a little extra to help us move furniture around as needed once it was in the house. They made sure that we didn't need any adjustments before they left. They were very respectfull and carefull of our stuff and our newly rennovated house so as to not put any scratched or dings on the walls, floors or furniture. Their price was reasonable too for moving a whole house.

Moving can be a traumatic experience, and it was with great care when we chose a moving company to handle the move for my elderly mother . From the moment we met with Arthur Yale, owner of Move on Demand, we felt a sense of relief that we had made the right decision. Arthur was more than just a businessman; he understood that the move was a difficult one emotionally for my mother and that we needed his assurance that everything would go well. And everything did go amazingly well. The four young men whom Arhur sent out on the job were total professionals: prompt, courteous, clean-cut, and experienced. Eduardo ably led his team of movers and they completed the job in less time than we expected. Kudos to Move on Demand for a job well done!

Our move went very well. The guys were on time and got to work right away. We stayed on schedule all day and finished in the estimated time. Our belongings were well cared for and we were happy with the whole experience.

This was an altogether excellent experience, with highly professional, courteous, English-speaking movers who worked H****** a mercilessly hot day. I called Arthur on short notice (less than a week before the move date). He came out to our house on Saturday to give an estimate. I found him to be kind and friendly as well as thoroughly professional. He originally thought an 8-hour move, but on my request was willing to adjust this to 6 on the written estimate. On Tuesday, Eduardo and his crew (4 men total) arrived promptly as scheduled and got right to work. They were efficient, hardworking, and careful with all of our items. So careful, in fact, that a small valuable I had accidentally left sitting loose on an open shelf of my desk was still there when they unwrapped the desk at the new house. That thing by all rights should have fallen on the floor and been lost in the shuffle and I'd have only myself to blame, but it was still right where I'd left it. Couldn't be more impressed. Nothing was lost, nothing was damaged, and they completed the entire move in 6 hours plus a short lunch break. Just altogether excellent service in every way. I might have been able to find a less expensive service (although not by much), but Move on Demand is licensed, insured, and altogether professional. Absolutely worth it for confidence and peace of mind. I hope not to have to move again for a long while, but if it should be necessary, I will definitely call these guys again!

I had used Move On Demand about a year ago and was very happy, so when a water pipe burst in my home a few months ago, I called arthur again. He was so great. He came within 2 days with his truck and his men, moved out the furniture and things were salvagable and moved them into a storage unit, then moved our everyday belonging to a different temporary location until the repairs were made. He kept in contact with me during the couple of months it took to repair our townhouse so that he would be able to leave a date open when we were able to move back home.This level of service is usually completely unheard of to most moving companies, so naturally i was very grateful and impressed. The day of our move, we booked a time of 11 AM so that Arthur's men could get my things out of storage before bringing the truck to my location. They showed up on time and got to work immediately. When the truck was packed, i was asked to look over the house to make sure that nothing was left behind, I did and we left to go to my townhouse. When we got there the men snapped into action and my move was completed in good time with everything placed where I wanted it. Arthur estimated that my move would take 5 hours and it did. I was so happy, Again!!! I would recommend Move On Demand to everyone I know!!!The personal service and detail involved in this move made me very nervous, but Arthur and his crew made it seem so easy!!!! When I met Arthur he came to my house to give me a quote - he was very professional, patient and informative. He gave me a lot of good advice too. He went over the whole house and pointed out things that I should take care of that "would save his men time - and me MONEY" - I followed his advice. I was very prepared for the day. He gave me a professional estimate and I was very happy with it. He left all the paperwork. I had a lot of problems with my closing - I had to schedule and reschedule several times. Whenever I called Arthur to reschedule he was very understanding and told me that he was used to customer's closing dates being rescheduled. He was very nice. His men usually start at 8.30am but I had to drive my daughter an hour to school (because my closing had been delayed) so I would not be able to start at their preferred time - that was NO PROBLEM - he accommodated me. I would not be available until 10am but he said that would be fine. Three young men came to do the move. They were very hard-working and professional. Not one thing was damaged, I never saw any of the guys standing still for one moment, everything was wrapped and NOT ONE THING WAS DAMAGED. I had had the new house painted the day before and I was prepared for some scratches and dents - but there were none. I have moved almost 10 times in the last 20 years and this was definitely the smoothest, quickest, most professional move I have ever had and it was really great value for money. Arthur definitely trains his employees - they are not part-time laborers who are looking for a day's work - these guys were brilliant.

I had moved three years before with another mover and at the end move all the little extras appeared. On this move I wanted to be sure that the estimate was as close to the actual cost. I searched Angie's list and came across Move on Demand. While all movers seemed to be around the same cost Arthur assured me his team would handle my move in a timely fashion and no surprises in price at the end of the move.On the day of the move, the men showed up on time, with their clean truck and all of the equipment to make my move. I will admit is not easy moving from a 3 story townhouse to another 3 story townhouse. Move on Demand had to make a 2nd stop at my storage facility to pick up some additional furniture and boxes. They said No Problem and picked up my stuff and finished the move. I had some very heavy furniture and there team handle my three flights of stairs in my house with no complaints. They did an outstanding job moving me.. It was worth every penny I paid them. Was nice to see that the owner even stopped by to lead an hand and to make sure everything was moving along smoothly. They get an A in my book.P.S. There were no hidden extra charges at the end of the move :)

The movers - Eduardo and Marcos - showed up EXACTLY as promised at 8:30AM at the facility. I had estimated the entire job would be 3 hours; it took 3.5 hours. Not bad. They both worked non-stop loading, and then unloading on a brutally hot day. There was no goofing off, no phone calls, no trying to stretch the hours. None of that. No surprises on the bill as the truck/hourly rate was as stated - and agreed to by me - when the reservation was made. At the condo they placed things where I wanted, and then, with a smile and NO attitude, moved them when I changed my mind. Could not have been nicer. Total professionals. .It was a pleasure. Most stress-free move I ever had (including multiple intra-NYC moves, interstate, and overseas). I hope I never, ever, ever, ever have to move again, but if I do, I'll call Arthur & M.O.D. without hesitation.

My neighbor knew i was getting ready to move and offered her experience with Move On Demand. she told me that she had a great experience and that everything went very smoothly. I called Move On Demand, and had Arthur come out to give me a written estimate, I hired them on the spot. On the day of the move, the men showed up on time dressed cleanly and professionally and got started immediately. At one point, I was having trouble disconnecting the wires on my flat screen tv that was hanging on the wall, the men leaped into action to help. They also provided all of the wardrobes for my clothing at no extra charge. What I took away from this experience was: Very Professional Qualified men moved me without any damage or problems. I was extremely satisfied !!! IF YOU NEED A MOVER, USE MOVE ON DEMAND, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! THANK YOU AGAIN, ARTHUR AND YOUR WONDERFUL CREW!!!

An excellent job was performed by the workers of Move on Demand. Also their executive staff was very clear and concise in arranging my move. They were extremely responsive to all my needs and as far as I was concerned their quality of work cannot be beat. I did compare prices with other movers and Move on Demand's prices were competitive and very fair. Angie's List was recommended to me by my neighbor who is a member of your service and thereupon I personally recently joined Angie's List in order to get other quality services that I will need in the future. Since part of your service is to submit a review, I thought it was incumbent on me to do such concerning a recent activity performed by one of your clients.

Fast, Clean and Professional is the only way I can explain our move. Arthur, the owner was on the job to make sure everything went smoothly. And it did! It's very hard to find a quality mover in South Florida, but Moved on Demand is that one. I would 100% recommend using this high quality service. He treats his customers just like family and is truly a man of great integrity who shows clear pride in his work.

We contracted with this company and here is what we experienced.1. They showed up late and did not bother to call to advise that they would be late.2. They're movers were friendly and professional and tried their best to protect our property.3. When they ordered lunch (pizza) they ate it and got oil all over my driveway pavers. (I did not see this until after the move).4. I called the person (Arthur Yale) who gave us the estimate and told him about the pavers. His reply was that I could remove it with a solution sold at Home Depot.5. I tried to pressure clean the pavers but this did not remove all of the oil stains.6. I tried using dish soap and a broom, but this too did not remove all the stains.7. I called Art and he said, I will send them over and he hung up on me!!!I never heard back from him or the moving crew since then.I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. It's too bad because had it not been for the way they handled the stains to my driveway pavers, I would have said that the movers are okay.One last thing, they charged my credit card for deposit, but I did not get a credit against my final bill when I paid for the move. It took several days until I got my $250 credited to my account.

Arthur and his crew were very professional. The move took less time than estimated (and therefore cost less than the estimate). The crew arrived on time and proceeded to carefully disassemble furniture and load it onto the truck. At the new house, they quickly and carefully loaded the furniture and boxes into the house in the locations we requested (and willingly moved furniture around in a number of rooms until we could decide on a proper location).Arthur and crew did a great job, and we would highly recommend them.

The move went flawlessly and without the slightest hitch from start to finish. The owner kept his appointment with me to review the scope of the move and provide me with a written estimate. He was polite, courteous and highly professional. The movers arrived on time, as promised, carefully wrapped everything before moving it out of the apartment, and moved all the heavy pieces out of the apartment and down the stairs without a scratch. Upon arrival at the new place, they (a) loaded all the boxes in the correct rooms, (b) did not stack them too high which meant I could comfortably reach them to unpack, (c) made sure the heaviest boxes were on the floor and not on the top of the stack, and (d) carefully moved all the heavy furniture pieces using the stairs and because of how well they were wrapped by the movers - no scratches or damage. The movers were also pleasant, polite, courteous, professional and friendly. The final cost was exactly what the estimate stated and, as promised, there were no hidden charges or fees. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing to move.

Excellent experience with this company, from the initial meeting to through the move. Everything was very professional and they exceeded my expectations. The crew was clean, professional and very hard working, there was no goofing off. They finished the job, on time and on budget with zero damage to any of my materials. The men arrived ready to work and set about loading the truck . In about two hours, the truck was loaded with the contents of my over-full apartment. The trip to my new place was short and the men then set about unloading the truck. I stayed in my new quarters for the most part so that I could answer questions about where things went. It was necessary for the men to move the truck a couple of times because of the tight quarters around the entrance to the condo building. In a little less than three hours, the truck was unloaded and the movers left with my thanks and a good tip. I called Arthur Yale and gave him my feedback about the move, including my thanks for helping to make the experience as painless as possible.

Movers showed up on time. Due to a misunderstanding, they were unprepared to move the complete condo- ok. There were 2 men doing the move, worked very fast and very sloppy. Many valuable works of art were stacked in large boxes. I had to ask them to pull out an oil painting which they had shoved in a carton backwards. Needless to say, some of the items were damaged... some, how about a lamp which was broken and although it is back together, no longer works, 3 pieces of art were damaged, one beyond repair- did I mention we had to pay for all the repairs? A glass table was chipped and a very expensive showcase that was called out as valuable was damaged (later repaired). I asked the movers when they thought they would be done, only to find out that they were done when they didn't come back to the condo and left the door open. Good sign. When I went to find out where they were, I also discovered that the hinge to our front door had been torn off- but no one bothered to tell me.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The owner is a rude, arrogant man, who refused to deal with me. Would only speak to my husband after I dared challenge him on how things were packed up for the move. Interesting, I was there, he was not.If you care about your possessions, remember, you get what you pay for... this entire experience was awful.I was only thankful that we had moved breakable items ourselves, otherwise this would have been a much larger disaster.I am sure Mr Art whatever his name is will have a response to my post. If he would only worry about the service his company is performing it would be a far better use of his time.

The crew did a good job moving us. Eduardo, the crew leader, was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. There were a few minor problems during the move, but the crew did their best to resolve them and overall I am happy with the way it went. The only problem I have with Move on Demand is the way Arthur Yale dealt with me as customer, he was very unpleasant most of the time, starting with his aggressive sales tactics that border on coercion, to the way he treated me like a bother the few times I called to ask a question. Worst part came on moving day, I misread the contract and called him to ask about a the hourly rate which I thought was incorrect, instead of working it out and handling it professionally Arthur yelled at me and told me he is cancelling the move, he then refused to accept my credit card for the move and made me withdraw cash. It was my mistake, the hourly rate was correct but the way Arthur handled it is simply unacceptable. If good customer service is important to you, I would say look elsewhere.

Quick and accurate estimate from Art.Eduardo and his two helpers did a careful job packing our belongings on the first day. They were pleasant and responsive.On moving day (two days later), they were on time. Carefully loaded the truck and moved our things to our new house two miles away. Required two trips. Went smoothly. Outstanding experience. I moved many times during a 33-year Navy career. This was among the best.
