Description of Work: They moved us from west palm beach to boynton beach. They came about 15 minutes early with 5 men and they were done in about 4 1/2 hrs. The guys were great . Personable and still professional. Very happy with their service.

Description of Work: This is our second time using move on demand. Our first move was a full house of stuff to our new 2 story home in wellington. This time was a smaller move of furniture from our 2nd story condo into storage. Both times the guys were great... hard workers, pleasant, polite, and careful- not to mention deceptively strong...really, these guys are beasts! They diligently wrap and protect while working quickly to get the job done. My only constructive criticism is that both times they were late, but even then they called to let us know the situation (the first time they wee stuck in traffic from an accident on 95, the second time they were just simply running late). I won't hesitate to use Arthur and his team again!

Description of Work: Crew moved us from Fort Lauderdale to Tampa area. The quote was guaranteed and honored. Guys packed, moved and unpacked for us. It was a full 3 day process as planned. They were on time each day respectful of our homes and belongings hard working and really nice guys. Nothing was damaged. This company is certainly one if the best we have used.

Description of Work: Moved an entire 5 bedroom house from storage to our new house. No setup of any kind was done by the movers just a local pickup from storage and delivery to a local house.

Description of Work: They moved me from a condo to a single family home in the same community. Arthur personally came out to give me an estimate and explained the service they provide. I was impressed with his sales kit and thoroughness. We were going to get another quote from another provide from Angie's List, but decided to just go with Move on Demand, because the other one just wanted to undercut the bid without coming out to see what we were moving. We didn't think that was right. They showed up precisely on time, all four men. They got to work at a very speedy pace, wrapping each piece of furniture carefully. The initial quote was for a minimum of 6 hours, and each additional hour would be $175.00. At first I thought they would come in under the 6 hour minimum, but as the day went on, it was clear that I would end up with at least an hour overage, perhaps more. It turned out to be a two hour overage. However, in all fairness, I told them that I had lot's of heavy furniture, and a lot of it in my 1667 sq ft 3/2 condo on the first floor and was moving to a one-story single family home in the same community. They didn't break anything, and were very cooperative during the entire move. I would definitely recommend them to a friend, and use them again.

Description of Work: We have used Arthur two previous times and needed him to move two family members simultaneously. My wife and I were going to be out of the country at the time of the move and trusted Arthur to have these two family members moved and settled before we returned. As anticipated, the move went very smoothly and when I landed on the day of the move, we received calls from both family members that they were extremely happy. Description of Work: It was a house move. The estimate was perfect, there was no surprises when came time to pay. This was my 5th moved since 2005 (company transfers except for this one) and the best ever. I am now finish with unpacking and did not see any scratches or any broken pieces. The guys were polite, punctual, very helpful, meticulous and fast. I will highly recommend Move on Demand.

Description of Work: Hired them for a 1 bedroom/2 bath move from a condo building to a house. Arthur came out to view the unit and gave an estimate. The day of the move, the workers arrived on time (actually early) and got to work straight away. They did a great job and aside from having to deal with the pain of a condo building, elevators, etc., everything went smoothly. We ended up being only slightly over the estimate...maybe $30 but we had to contend with waiting for elevators at the condo building so that was to be expected. I have used several other moving companies in the past and these guys were by far the hardest working and most efficient. Also, three moving people definitely makes things go a lot quicker!

I move very often due to my business and after over 20 moves in my lifetime in Florida, Northern California, Connecticut and the Hamptons (each a very sizeable home), I would rate this the best experience that I have ever had. Arthur the owner is prompt responsive honorable and very well priced. His team packed me and moved me and unpacked me in 48 hours from Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach FL. I literally did not lift a finger and I did not have a moment of stress. The lead member of the team handling my move, Eduardo, went above and beyond and even incorporated female help for the unload to ensure that my kitchen bath and closets were put back in place in the new home in a way that I would find very effective after they had left. I wish there was an A+ rating as this team absolutely deserves it!! My best to all....Alexa

Description of Work: We have used Arthur and his company prior for my company and my family. We needed to move another family member who was selling their home. The quality of the service that was provided was as expected, beyond expectations. The staff was neat, clean and professional. The job was quoted at 7 1/2 hours and while it took longer than that, it was due to the care that his crew used to pack valuable artwork and sculptures. I highly recommend Move on Demand. There are cheaper moving companies available, but as many people will agree, you get what you pay for. Thank you Arthur.

Description of Work: I am writing a review of this company. We were given what appeared to be a very reasonable quote for the scope of work involved. We lived in condiminium building that has strict rules on moving times. We chose this company because they had prior experience with our condiminium. Unfortunately, the time estimated to move out our 3Bd 3.5 bath was inadequate leading to "rushing" of the job to get done in a prespecified time period. Of course this led to hasty packing of some of our materials. Also, furniture was damaged during transportation/unloading. We have not had any luck as of yet with requests at filling out insurace claims to make whole our furniture damage. Of course things can be damaged during moving, but with careful packing this should be minimized/prevented. At this point, we have made several requests to file our insurance claim, which has not happened. When we paid for insurnace coverage and have not been able to file a claim, this does not sit well with me. We will now send a formal letter requesting that our insurance claims be processed in a professional manner. Of course, mistakes happen and situations can be rushed. This is life. But, I am waiting for the company to process our insurance claim and help us rather than make this matter more difficult. At this time I cannot recommend this service until there has been resolution to our insurance claims.

Description of Work: Just saying thank you is not enough to express our gratitude and satisfaction. Move On Demand showed up on 15 min early ready to work. The three men were courteous, professional, and polite. Arther showed up about an hour into the move to see how everything was going. The men worked quickly, took care in handling our belongings and packed our house in about 3 hours....including our 300 boxes!! Even with having to make two trips they were able to finish the job in the deflated time frame. At our new house the men placed all the boxes in their correct rooms, put some furniture back together and even organized the garage so we can have a walking path. The move was flawless! We have moved numerous times over the last 10 years and this was the BEST experience we ever had! Movers in general have a bad reputation. We were burned by two movers in the past so we were a bit nervous to move again...but trust Arthur and his men. We doid and they are worth it! Description of Work: Arthur showed up for estimate a week prior, and was great to deal with. "Your furniture won't show up with any more scratches than it started out with", he said, with a bit of humor. Unfortunately, it wasn't completely true. But I still consider the move was done pretty well. On the day of the move, 3 guys showed up, very punctual (ahead of time slightly), and were fast and professional. They wrapped the leather sofas in plastic. But other miscellaneous items like small chest of drawers, or tall wooden shelves, they didn't wrap. Upon arrival to new house, again, they were fast and efficient, but maybe too fast and in a hurry. One of the movers decided to pick up a medium-size 5-drawer chest all by himself, hefting it up onto his shoulder, but in doing so, the drawers slid out, and one come out altogether and crashed to the floor, cracking it's faceplate and coming apart. Why don't they at least tape the drawers shut when moving? I do when I move my own stuff. And why was he trying to lift that thing all by himself. It was really more appropriate for two guys. So this was blot on the experience. At the end, I negotiated by phone with Arthur for $50 off the move, but even that was less than pleasant, because I had to haggle and hear about what he'd be reimbursed from insurance if he claimed it, etc (that's none of my concern, my broken drawer is my concern). After settling the bill and they drove off, only then did I remember I had forgotten to get the Angie's List discount on the bill -- and Arthur knew I had come to him through Angie's List, as of the day he came by to do the estimate. So in reality, he came out like $20 ahead, because the discount would have been more than the $50 off for the broken drawer. I didn't call to haggle about it, because I figured I'd already signed and paid the bill, so it was too late to bring it up. I was afraid of pushback and haggling and wasn't in the mood for it. I didn't write a review until now (the move was 3 weeks ago) because the whole thing was a sore point in my mind. So as you can see, the move did not go off without a hitch, nor leave me completely satisfied. But in other respects (professionalism, speed, punctuality) they were good.

Description of Work: The move went like clock work. Joe and his team were easy to work with. My wife and I were very happy with the move. We were overwhelmed with this move for a family of 5, but Joe's competancy and willingness to take measures to be extra careful yet do the task with concentrated speed exceeded expectations. We would highly recommend his company.
