Sam, the handy man arrived on time and worked diligently until the job was completed.

He eventually got the one blind up but it took nearly an hour. He was huffing and puffing after putting one blind up. Anyways, I called him to simply assemble a kid's bike. At first he didn't reply to me and made a point of telling me that he failed to reply to me. Is that a good thing to do to a customer? Not reply and make not of it. Anyways, he said he wanted $60 to assemble a kid's bike? Seriously, $60/hr for a general handyman, not a licensed electrician or plumber. Anyways, we found someone else that did it for $30 and responded right away!

All went well. So happy I have found a trustworthy handyman. I have a list of projects and will be contacting Sam as I move forward with crossing them of my list.

Sam was extremely responsive to my service request. He kept in constant contact with me as I was seeking a quote and planning the date for the project to be done. He and Anthony completed the project as planned. They were professional, effective, and courteous. The project looks great and came in just under budget! I'll definitely use This Old Spouse for any additional handyman needs.

Overall we love the chair railing, but the door casing has a rather large nick in the casing that is very noticeable. We had more boards on hand that should have been used instead if he had noticed a nick.

He is very professional. On time. So an extra mile to help. I was in another estate per years he gave me feed backs about tenants and condition of the home.

Had issue with bathroom ceiling. Moisture was causing mildew. Sam accomplished removing mildew. Prompt, Efficient, Reasonable Pricing. Overall good experience and communication.

Repaired fan light fixture at tenant address. Was advised that fan blades were a little worn but not necessary to replace. I appreciate the honesty of no upselling. So far the light fixture is holding up no issues there. Overall gets the job done at reasonable price. Work performed in timely fashion.

First job was with a grab bar company and he was a contractor We spoke and came up with handyman jobs described above. Prices charged for labor were reasonable based on the amount of work done. Material was charged at cost. Sam conducted the work professionally and was diligent to complete everything as agreed.

My experience was very professional and very kindly and on time. He does a really great job of explaining all of the options to solve the issues and very inexpensive.

Everything went great except for a small problem hanging the towel rack. He said the rack hardware didn't fit properly and he had to make a new set of holes in the wall. However, he repaired the plaster and offered to return to paint. I had a painter coming a few days later anyway so I declined this service. Overall, he did a great job.

Tenant of mine had issues with shower door rollers and door kept falling. Made contact through Angies based on reviews. He replied right away. Finally spoke with Sam a few days later and went over issue. Advised that I would like it done right and that no future issues would arise. He told me would assess problem and fix. He went and said the rollers didn't need to be replaced just adjusted to right height. He called and invoiced me for work. So far so good its been a week though so hard to ascertain how work is going hold.I will be contacting again for other jobs I may need. Very fast response time and very very local. Overall good job. I would recommend. This was my first time using him.

He came out on a Saturday afternoon because he knew we needed immediate help. He was very pleasant, punctual and professional.

Repair person showed up on time, very pleasant & knowledgeable - work was completed in an efficient manner. I would contact company again.

Samuel came, gave an estimate and we made an appointment. A few days later he called me that he had hurt his back and he asked if he could send another handyman. I accepted. His colleague came and did an amazing job - 100% professional and very polite. Samuel did several follow up calls to make sure I was satisfied. Sam was wonderful. He was on time and definitely knew what he was doing. He fixed and completed the assembly of some outside storage boxes as well as fixing a retractable baby gate that was not working and put up shelves and towel hooks. He was very nice, reasonably priced and did the work quickly. I will be using his services again.

Sam is experienced, fair and very helpful. He's a grandfatherly type that knows what he's doing. Used him many times.

Excellent work! Charged $65 per hour which I thought is a little high plus supplies for $250.00. I would recommend him though, He is very good!

He said he was very busy but he would squeeze me in and scheduled the repair for a few days later. I had already called a few other handymen referred by friends and they all said it would be after the new year so I took a chance based on reviews. Samuel showed up 5 minutes early and immediately got to work. He did exactly as asked and also offered to help with another project I was planning to do later and he knocked that out too in quick fashion. I may have a few other projects this spring and I will definitely call him again.

He wrote back and told me he wasn’t available till the 16th. I told him this was okay, that I could put up the Christmas tree and I had other things for him to do. He never wrote me back.
