Sam and Allen have done a wonderful job. They came on time and had all the required materials prepared to have the job done. That's such a big help to us. They also helped us check some other miscellaneous items around the house. Their price is very reasonable and the work is done w/ high quality. They are very wonderful to work with. We will surely use them again.

I called Sam and left a message asking that he call me back. He called back that same day. He was very responsive, friendly and easy to talk to over the phone. Based on my description of the problems, Sam estimated a price and that was indeed what he charged. He then contacted my tenant and arrange a time to make the repairs. I was not there when the repairs were made, but my tenant is very happy. Thank you Sam. It was great doing business with you and I will be calling again with any future repair jobs that should arise.

Sam was efficient and punctual. Fixed everything I asked. He was prepared with required parts as described over the phone.

Rotten door frame I was planning on replacing entire frame. Had several estimates from others who said the entire door and frame should be replaced. Stan took a look at it and said he could replace it if that’s what I wanted but not necessary. He could repair it for a fraction of the cost. I also showed him an corner of the house where the fascia had been painted over but was clearly rotten. This is in a corner where there was no gutter and the rain pours down that edge. He repaired and painted the door frame and also removed the rotten corner fascia and installed a small gutter section to avoid the problem in the future. I think he did an excellent job and save me money. He is fair and knowledgeable, I will definitely use him in the future.

He is a handyman and he did various things for us. We have used him a lot but not for major things.

He is very nice. He was honest and helpful.

He arrived promptly and prepared to work. He brought his wife as his assistant; both were charming. I took him through the house, showing him what I wanted done. He removed my ceiling light fixtures w/ little problem (they were spackled in!) and showed me how to change the bulbs. He fixed the temperature pad on my range by putting together some gizmo to affix it in a sturdy and secure fashion. Cabinet was set in place quickly. He installed my bedroom ceiling light fan quickly; no problems. When he got to the living room, he discovered that there was no strong structure to install the fan to which he said would result in my ceiling being compromised from the vibration. Same happened for my patio ceiling light fan and there was no junction box as well. The two other bedrooms he could not do because he discovered the ceiling light fixtures weren't grounded. He suggested I call an electrician to provide this service and perhaps install the fans; or call him back and he could install the fans once the electric work was done. I really appreciated his honesty about the problems and hazards with my fixtures. Someone else may have just gone ahead and done the work and my safety would have been compromised. His rates were absolutely reasonable and the overall experience excellent. I would definitely engage his services again and, in fact, do plan to call him when I get my next list together!

Excellent. Sam fixed the problem that other handymen wanted to charge $500 to replace the door. Sam fixed it and showed me how to do it myself in the future should it happen again.

Sam was very considerate of our time, did excellent work, offered do it yourself hints, very courteous and pleasant to work with.

Went as smoothly as I expected. Sam did totally different work last week on electric lighting repairs and relocations, all went well then and this week was no different. I am so pleased to know there are skilled, professional people to help with jobs I can not do myself.

Sam came out to assess the work I wanted done. He took notes and it was a very nice experience. He seemed to be a gentleman. We did go with another company, however.

The job went very well. Sam picked up the bulbs on the way to the house so he was able to get that utility light in the garage taken care of really fast. That left time for the powder room light fixture which was more involved. Sam cleaned up after he finished the garage light and after he repaired the powder room light. I was so happy to get those jobs done.

Maybe the guy died or was incapacitated or something

Sam did everything possible to not only do great work but to do it in a manner that helped me save money whenever possible. He came up with creative ways to repair items in a most cost effective way. All the other contractors that met him praised his personality and his good work. You will not go wrong if you use Sam as your handyman. Highly recommended!!!

It went very well. He was helpful and completed the job where a previous electrician could not

He was horrible. He forgot our appointment the day he was supposed to show up. After an hour I called him and he told me that he had forgotten. I don?t think he was a very good handyman because he was really hurried. He happened to do a lot of little things which he dint do properly. He was not really fixing anything and was just trying to glue it. I showed him the mirror that I wanted hung. He looked at the back of the mirror and said you paid $40 for it. He kind of insulted me and the house saying we got all the cheap stuff. I just wanted him out of here. The price he charged me was reasonable.

They were all on time, pleasant, positive, hard workers. They did a good job and were honest workers.

Everything worked out well form start to finish.

Sam came on time; was careful & efficient. Reasonably priced - spent almost 2 hours time.

I had to call him back because the dryer still seemed to take a long time to dry. When he came back the second time he didn?t find anything wrong. I thought he should have done the recheck for free but he is a small company. He was nice, he was prompt, and he seemed to know what he was doing; he seemed competent enough.

I CALLED MR. STOCKHAMER ON 8/11 AFTER OBTAINING HIS INFORMATION FROM ANGIES LIST REGARDING A SMALL JOB OF INSTALLING A NEW FOLDING CLOSET DOOR IN MY BEDROOM. I EXPLAINED THAT THE DOOR WAS BROKEN AND I WAS UNABLE TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE DOOR. I HAD PURCHASED A NEW DOOR TO INSTALL BUT WAS UNABLE TO DO THE WORK MYSELF. MR. SWOCKHAMER RESPONSED SAME DAY AND WE MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR HIM TO LOOK AT THE DOOR IN QUESTION ON 8/12. AFTER LOOKING AT THE DOOR, SAM SAID IT WAS NOT NECESSARY TO REPLACE IT AS HE COULD FIX THE PROBLEM. HE SAVED ME THE PRICE OF THE NEW DOOR WHICH I AM RETURNING AND WAS PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, AND COURTEOUS. I KNOW THAT THIS WAS CONSIDERED BY SAM TO BE A VERY MINOR JOB, BUT MINOR THINGS BECOME MAJOR WHEN YOU ARE UNABLE TO DO THEM YOURSELF. I WOULD RECOMMEND SAM FOR :"ANY" PROJECT YOU MAY WANT TO UNDERTAKE IN YOUR HOME. I CERTAINLY WILL.
