Javier (owner) answered all the questions from day one and provided all the information needed very quick; they dealt with the city in order to get all the approvals; he took just 48 hours to provide a proposal design; the only time I had an issue with the installation he sent his crew back to the site in less than two days. Even though I wasn't in his usual ratio of work, he did not mind the distance to perform the job. After I got more than 8 proposals from providers closer to my home and highly advertised, Terra Paver was by far the best price! Will definitely use him again!

New pavers look great, really change the look of the home's exterior. Work went slower than I would have liked but that was through no fault of Terra Pavers, there were more rainy days than sunny during the installation and the delays were due to weather. Communication was excellent and Javier answered his cell phone every morning I called. Pricing was in the middle of the 4 bids I received and I am very pleased with the end result. Would recommend to others.

It went very well. The communication was prompt & courteous. We were provided a free estimate and the final job cost exactly what the estimate stated. The workers (4) showed up early on the morning that the project was scheduled and they completed their work in approximately three hours. They did a beautiful job and we would highly recommend them.

Great job - very competent and skilled installers. Javier was great to deal with -- gave us an idea what needed to be done and how he would accomplish the job. He followed through on the job and it was done on a timely basis and it looks great!

Javier Baptista is the owner he came out and gave a quote for the work. I also had other quotes, that were give by salesmen. Found that Javier's pricing was much lower and he was much more pleasent to deal with. , The entire project was handled by a crew that knew what they were doing , He sent out enough workers so that both projects were done when promised If anyone in Broward or Palm Beach county need this type of work, call Javier you won't be sorry.

The entire process was very satisfactory. The contractor visited the site discussed the method of repair provided a prompt estimate & had the crew show up promptly as scheduled, the work was done in an excellent manner. We are very pleased with the results.

We were very pleased with the experience from start to finish. Javier Baptista was great to work with from start to finish, and Jeanette in the office was very professional and efficient. They maintained the promised schedule and the driveway looks fantastic. Several neighbors have asked for Terra Paver contact info. Their prices may be a bit higher than other companies, but only slightly, and the quality of work is superior.

BACKGROUND The travertine pavers around our pool's perimeter were "popping up," due to the land settling around the pool. This caused our back patio to look unsightly. We sought help to lift the pavers, fill the area beneath with new material and re-set the pavers. ESTIMATE PROCESS I obtained four estimates - two from traditional "pool" companies (one of which was found on Angie's List; the other from the gentleman who cleans our pool), one from a general contractor recommended by a friend and the last from Terra (found on Angie's List). Terra and one of the pool companies had similar estimates, the other pool company came in at more than twice their quotes and the general contractor bid at more than seven times the lowest bid! I contacted Terra - Jeanette picked up right away and captured all of the pertinent info (address, contact info, issue, etc.) and scheduled Javier, the owner, to conduct the estimate the following Monday. She was extremely courteous and professional. Her professionalism is not exactly common when dealing with administrators. With other companies, I have had a range of people not returning my voicemail to stating, "I don't have time to put this in a proposal - here are a bunch of prices. When can I schedule the work?" It was such a relief to interact with someone like Jeanette. I requested that Javier himself conduct the estimate, given his engineering background. Javier showed up for the estimate right on time. He measured the area, answered my questions and explained some of the issues that our town has experienced in the past with the ground settling around pools. He didn't rush through this process as other contractors have done. He was also very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We have had to interact with many contractors and such for a variety of house projects these past few months, and Javier was one of the few people who I felt immediately at ease with and who I trusted. Sometimes you have a "gut" feeling. Javier not only emailed me a detailed proposal that evening - he proactively also sent copies of his license, proof of liability insurance and offered to provide references. Who does that?? This absolutely floored me (in a good way). Not one company I've dealt with on house projects was as organized or proactive as Terra has been. My bar was set so low from prior interactions with other companies (from people providing a proposal a month after conducting the estimate to not being truthful about their licensing; certainly, no one else proactively provided copies of their license or references). I contacted all three of Javier's provided references - all of whom provided glowing reports. One had work completed three weeks prior. The other two were so impressed with Terra that Javier's company is now performing work for their relatives and communities. All offered for me to drive by their homes to check out the work Terra performed. WORK PERFORMED Jeanette tentatively scheduled the work (due to other on-going projects) and said she would follow up with me when she had a firmer date, so I could make arrangements for my dog to not be around. She followed up with me on that Friday, as promised, to finalize the project start date. On the project start date, Jeanette contacted me to let me know that the crew would have to start a few hours later than planned (12:30p). I arrived home after work that night to find a beautifully fixed back patio. Our unsightly pool perimeter looked fantastic. I was initially very concerned about heavy wheelbarrows of sand causing deep grooves in our grass and a big mess on our patio furniture with white cushions. The crew left zero damage and zero mess! My husband and I performed a walk-through and found a couple of pavers that we asked to replace. Javier himself performed a final inspection and also replaced four or five broken pavers and dropped off 10 for us to keep. RESPONSIVENESS Both Javier and Jeanette were incredibly responsive throughout the process - again, this seems to be a rarity amongst Florida contractors. Javier always called me or texted me back to any questions I had, as did Jeanette. QUOTE The price Terra quoted was absolutely fair and in line with one of the pool company's estimates. The ironic thing was that we were going to select one of the pool companies mentioned above (this was before I even found Terra on Angie's List), but their administrator was so unresponsive that I conducted extra research to find another company, which led me to Terra (it took days for this other pool company to get back to me; she was also the one I mentioned above who said she was "too busy" to provide me a proposal and then sent a bunch of prices - with no details). Companies don't seem to realize that the person answering the phone, scheduling and writing the proposal can make or break a deal as much as the contractor can. Thank god I found Terra. OVERALL My husband and I absolutely loved Terra Tiles & Pavers. I was so disillusioned with the process of researching and interacting with contractors on a variety of house projects that Terra was a breath of fresh air. The company is responsive, professional, fair with its quote, thoughtful (they dropped off extra pavers for future use!), organized and simply - AMAZING. We're now considering re-doing our driveway and will absolutely contact only Terra to conduct that work. I can't recommend Terra enough. Thank you Terra, Javier and Jeanette for your help in making our pool/patio area look great again! You all were wonderful to work with, and we're actually excited about the prospect of fixing our driveway!

This must be one of the best experiences we have ever had in this area. Javier, from his initial contact, through the estimating period, follow-up calls, and final inspection is one of the best people to work with. His crew is absolutely fantastic. Not only did they schedule and arrive earlier than the estimated date of installation, the crew showed enthusiasm, professionalism, and pristine attention-to-detail throughout the tear-out and installation process. And, even though the job was schedule for up to three days, the job was completed in one long day. The result is much more than we could have ever imagined. Having had a similar project done in Minnesota (completely different company), we expected a lot of after-project cleanup and landscaping repair to perform. We will have to do only minimal landscape tidying -- this is a big bonus for us. And, we have used the new patio already. Our neighbors and friends are highly complimentary, which is also a big plus. We would highly recommend Javier and his company to anyone who asks.

If all contractors in Florida were like Terra Pavers, there would be no need for Angie's list. From the initial phone call the service was quick and professional. They returned my call within the same day and scheduled my appointment. They showed up on time on the agreed date, listened carefully to what I wanted and quickly took measurements. They helped me understand the whole process and showed me numerous options for both tile choices and patterns that I never even knew existed.. They took care of all the permits with the county. They made a commitment on start date and kept it. The whole process took them about two weeks to complete. I had a couple of changes in design during the process and they were very diligent an accommodating. They always answered the phone and my emails when I had questions. Javier, the owner, is an educated professional. He is , knowledgeable and always willing to help. My pool deck really looks gorgeous in Travertine. The work is top quality.

Our pool and lanai is a very important focal point of our home. After months of research and planning, we selected Terra Tiles and Pavers to complete the project. We interviewed 17 companies before making this decision, but the confidence that Javier Baptista demonstrated, and the reassurance that he and his crew would not disappoint us, along with glowing referrals, separated him from the competition. If you don't like to read a long review- short and sweet- hire this company. They do what they say they will do- professionally, timely, and with respect (for you and your property). If you want details... here goes. After all of the decisions and selections were made, the project was started in a timely manner. The "crew" showed up daily (It took about 3 weeks to complete) and they worked tirelessly. Any concerns or questions that I had during the process were answered either by the crew, or by phone with Javier. Marcio, who was in charge of the pool coping and glass tile, did an excellent job. His attention to detail and skill with angles resulted in a very elegant look. The large pool deck had previously had drainage issues, but the travertine was laid in a manner that has virtually eliminated the poor drainage. After completion, we contacted Javier with a few concerns ( a dozen or so pavers needed leveled, the glass tile needed cleaned, etc.) and he and his crew came out and rectified all of our concerns. I would like to add that this occurred after they had been paid in full. I had told someone that I had asked them to come out and address these issues, and his reply to me was "If you already paid them, good luck ever seeing them again!". But that is just a testament to the kind of person Javier is. He is knowledgeable, honest, and truly a good person. We are so pleased with our decision to hire Terra Tiles & Pavers. They come with our highest recommendation!

They are very good. I didn't choose to work with them but they are very professional, punctual and everything is good. Everything was pleasant and good. In the last minute I just decided to hire someone I know personally but I'm sure this company could provide it, actually it's better. The price is better but I chose to go to someone I know personally through a friend. They went the extra mile to reduce the price and to do some extra work for me and then to fit my schedule, and it's really good. I wish I could actually use them.

Terra Tiles was my second choice when I bid out the project. They should have been my first. The previous contractor(Bedrock Brick and Block)was the contractor from h***. Nothing went right, from the permitting process, start dates, demolition, patterns, you name it, it went badly. Over 3 months in limbo, they killed most of my front lawn and broke the sidewalk, costing me nearly $1000 in repairs. I've heard that Bedrock has left several homeowners in the same state(see Yelp reviews). Now the good news. I called Javier at Terra Tiles and he expedited the process beautifully even though he was left a mess with the permit(which was not up to date) and a partially paved project(driveway). His team later completed the driveway, did the finishing touches, and all in a couple of weeks. What they did was what every customer deserves, they delivered as promised. No excuses and good communication(very important). Thanks to everyone involved.

Salesman called same day as I left message. Set up appointment for estimate. Showed up on time; gave estimate. After agreement was sent via fax, they showed up at designated time and performed service. Looks great.

Called Terra Pavers and they called me back immedately. We set up an appt to meet the following day. He was on time, actually early. He had called to let me know that he was in the area earlier than he had promised and wanted to know if that was OK with me. Great Customer service. Met him in front of the house , he understood completely what I was looking for. By that evening, he had designed a layout and developed a quote. The quote is above and was a little higher than anticipated. I do plan to work with this company to re-do my driveway, however, It may be delayed a bit while I refresh my budget.

From day one, Javier was professional, detail oriented, provided creative assistance, and followed up every call or question with amazing diligence. We were also impressed with the fact that Javier was not just the owner, he is also an engineer. Javier's level of knowledge and experience was prevalent with each step we took in the process. We got estimates and spoke with many other vendors and not ONE of those other companies' representatives compared to the level of knowledge and professionalism we experienced with Javier. Also, every crew member on the job was polite, professional and diligent. They showed up on time, worked hard, and cleaned up at the end of the day, even though they were returning the following morning. My wife and i had many little custom design requests during the project, and each time, they came through for us. The quality of the work is outstanding and the driveway/walkway looks amazing!
