Terra Tiles & Pavers

He provided 3 different groups of pavers for us to choose the closest to our own likes and 7 year old driveway. He did the same for our stone mailbox. Jobsite was left very clean as well.

Initially I wasn't too pleased. The owner came out and made everything right. He was very apologetic. Workers made a little bit of a mess. Owner came out the time and oversaw everything.

The owner Javier was awesome. He was extremely attentive and helpful. The reason why I am writing this review is because I decided to change the original pavers I choose from the beginning and Javier without a blink of the eye responded immediately. Not only did he make the change but he did is at very reasonable price when he could have really taken advantage of the situation. Instead he made sure I was happy and did it to accommodate my needs. I am very grateful for that and will recommend him to anyone looking to install pavers. Thanks, Scott

Javier came out to visit our home, showed us pictures of other pool decks he had completed and after two days we had our estimate in hand. He offered us to the opportunity to visit to his suppliers showroom to select our product

The process went great form the beginning. Javier showed up right on time for the initial appointment and provided a quote that evening via email. The quote was very professional and even included a drawing scoping out the entire project. The professional drawing is a nice touch that no other company provided to us or they wanted a deposit from us before they would spend the time to do the drawing. I thought this was a nice touch by Terra Pavers and made me feel more confident about the work they would provide since the first step of the process was more professional than any of the other four companies I had gotten quotes from. Javier was always very prompt at returning my calls and emails and I never had to wait more than a couple of hours to get a response from him. This was another thing I enjoyed about doing business with Terra Pavers because some other companies did not get back to me for a day or more. Once we signed the contract, the permits were acquired and the pavers ordered and work began in about a couple of weeks (as soon as the pavers were available from the manufacturer.) Once their crew started, everything went by very quickly. The excavation was done on one day and the pavers took a couple of days to install due to the size of our project. Javier also showed up each day of the process to make sure it was going smoothly and everything was done correctly. The end result was amazing!! I get compliments on the driveway everyday from all of my neighbors in the neighborhood. I own another home and will be calling Terra Pavers to put in a new driveway there as well. I would highly recommend using Terra pavers for any type of paving job you have!

Despite the many glowing reviews here on Angies List our experience with Terra was a complete disaster. We called them middle of march and spoke with Jeanette (who was quite nice and very helpful) in regards to getting an estimate. The appointment was made and Joshua came out to the house to meet with me. He seemed quite nice, explained everything in detail, and said he'd get back to me with an estimate and a few options. 2 days later we had an estimate. Trouble is, it was the highest one we received, and when I spoke with Joshua I informed him of the budget we were working with. I called and spoke with Jeanette and she said that Joshua would get back to us. No one called. I called back a few days later, and spoke with her again, and she said she'd have him get back to us. No one called again. I called a third time and left a message, and she called me back the next day. She couldn't imagine why he hadn't called back but said she'd tell him again. He called me finally the next day and left a message. I called him back, and informed him he was quite high, but because I was impressed with their setup I was wondering if he could revise the estimate to get it more in the ballpark of the other providers. He, quite frankly, didn't really seem to give a s*** about what I had to say and completely blew me off. I sort of gave up at that point with him and decided to try the owner, a Mr. Baptista. While this was going on, our development had just completed a paver job that looked quite nice. My mother called up our condo board and found out it was Terra who did the job. She had no idea I had been in contact with them about our job, so she called and asked about an estimate. She spoke with Mr. Baptista, who happened to be sitting next to Joshua. Apparently, once he heard our last name, he sprung into gear, getting on the phone with my mother and informing her that, well, he had been dealing with her son and he just wasn't reasonable and couldn't be dealt with, and was just no good.. So my mother decided to call me up and ask me why I had been causing such problems. Needless to say, this was rather aggravating to us both. Finally, I got Mr. Baptista on the phone, and informed him of what had happened. How Joshua didn't seem to really care about what was going on, and how I was basically trying to throw money at them because we were desperate to get the job done (and still are.) To his credit, he agreed to come out to the house and talk with me again and go over my concerns. He showed up the following Wednesday in his athletic coaching gear, telling me he had to go coach his son's game. After showing up 1 hour later than our scheduled time. He rushed me through the conversation, said he understood my concerns and budgetary necessities, and would "do his best." Three days later an estimate showed up in our inbox... At the top it says "this is the best we can do." The kicker? It was the EXACT SAME ESTIMATE that was sent the first time. Bottom line prices are precisely the same. I was completely flabbergasted. At this point we've completely given up on these people. If you do call them I definitely wish you luck. I can't fathom how they've garnered this many positive reviews with such abysmal service.

circular driveway is gorgeous! It looks like it was always there. Compliments from our neighbors, delivery people, community, etc. Professional and courteous every step of the way. Would use them again for future projects. We certainly would recommend them .

They did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone. I had a big job, and for 10 years we had wanted to completely overhaul our patio area and pool. Finally I decided it was time, made a list of all the questions I wanted to ask all potential companies, most of whom I found on Angie?s List, and I interviewed representatives of 6 companies, including Josh of Terra Tiles & Pavers. Josh patiently answered all of my questions, proposed possibilities, and discussed my project at length. In the end, I chose Terra Tiles & Pavers for our renovation. They weren?t the cheapest, but they passed my investigation on Angie?s List, had no complaints with the BBB, and had no lawsuits filed against them. Also, it felt like the right decision. I read all their reviews on Angie?s List and knew this company would do a terrific job. I was right. Each employee whom I met was professional, respectful and punctual. At the end of each day the workers would clean up the area even though they were returning the next day. The quality of workmanship is great. My travertine deck is just beautiful. The men did a great job of analyzing the area before starting and laying out the stones, and the finishing details look lovely. I love the look of our pool tiles, including the placement of the accent waterline tiles as well as how they raised the skimmer opening to adjust for the flat coping. I?m just so thrilled with the whole project, I would definitely hire them again. In fact, they?ll be back soon to seal the travertine. I knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted everything to look before Terra Tiles & Pavers started the project. I was home several days while work was being done, and therefore I was involved with many little details, as I wanted. Maintain good daily communication about the project with Terra, know what you want and you won?t be disappointed. No company is perfect, but this company strives for perfection and did a great job. Any questions or concerns were promptly addressed by Javier, their most considerate and conscientious owner. They strive to do their best, and it shows.

Terra Pavers gave an accurate estimate, provided good communication throughout the job and did what they promised on a timely manner. The quality is superb, the proposed designed match the final product. Javier provided flexible approach to the budget we had and worked with us to achieve a design that exceeded our expectations. Always very professional. We are very happy with our patio and would recommend Terra Pavers to everyone.

Very well. Javier was punctual and helpful through the quoting process. He was also very helpful for all of my questions during the paving process.The workers arrived on time and they were very professional. The job took 3 days to complete. They cleaned up everything after completing the job. My driveway is beautiful. I designed my own pattern for the driveway and the workers worked very close with me to achieve the design that I layed out. I am very happy with the outcome.

, Looking at our driveway we noted that besides being very dirty and stained there were several dips and loose pavers. So we called two A rated paving contractors. Both were prompt giving estimates. Both pointed out problems we had not noticed and made suggestions as to solutions. We chose an alternative offered by Terra to repair rather than to tear out the whole drive which would have involved ,more time, money and dislocation than seemed worth it. The three step process of repair, washing and sealing all went smoothly and it looks good. Of course how it holds up will not be known for some time. Our only very mild issue is it would have helped if communication as to times of arrival had been just that little bit better and more specific. While they did always call back with questions about scheduling a couple of times they were a little slow, though at others they were quite quick Would certainly consider them for similar work in the future.

My experience with Javier and Terra Pavers went extremely well. The price was competitive and dealing with Javier and Jeannette was a pleasure. Javier came out when he said he would and provided us with an estimate. That estimate was accurate and did not change. Jeannette kept me informed on when to expect the delivery of materials and installation started the next day. The crew that did the actual installation were professional and knew what they were doing. Our current deck had pavers that were faded so it was a little tricky on how to install the new pavers without making the deck look totally mismatched. The crew leader shared his thoughts, which was different than what I was thinking, but he was right. The deck ended up looking really nice. I really appreciated that the crew cleaned up so well. When they finished on Friday, there was a pile of debris that needed to be cleaned up. Rather than waiting for Monday, Javier had someone come out the very next morning. When we woke up, the debris was gone - I never even knew that they came because they were so quiet. That was great because we had family come over the next day and we didn't want any debris laying around. In summary, I had an excellent experience with Javier and would not hesitate to recommend him.

Terrific communications, responsiveness and performance. Javier suggested some less expensive options. We did the whole transaction remotely from the initial quote to photos of the installed pavers. I had someone locally verify the work had been done before final payment. Could I have had the work done less expensively? Yes, but I decided the responsiveness and communications for a remote job was worth the extra cost.

Approximately 1100 square feet. Excavation, laying of sand on first day, laying of brick on second day, debris removal on third day. Beautiful job!!

The process went very well. When there was an issue with the permit, Terra Tiles and Pavers professionallly handled the matter and accommodated my needs more than fairly. The driveway was completed in two days time and more than met my expectations. The driveway is stunning and I have had no problems with it at all. I highly recommend them both for price and quality.

They first took the old pavers from the backyard and made a new walkway on one side of the house. We liked it so much that we had an existing walkway re-done to match the new one. The work they do was so good that we wish we had more places to do more work. It was just that beautiful and matched the front driveway perfectly. They also made the driveway wider to accommodate my large truck by adding another set of pavers to each side and make the turn easier. Again, you would never know that the original driveway and the added part weren't done at the same time. After all that, they totally re-did the whole backyard with travertine and even did the steps down to the dock. Trying to get the edging done to work around the existing fence was not easy and it came out perfect. They are due to seal the travertine next week and we can't wait to see an even nicer backyard then we have now. I would use Terra Tiles and Pavers again, but I'm out of room to do anymore work. But if I move, or if a friend has work to do, we will make sure they have Terra's name for a great job. I almost forgot, they also took some of our old pavers and made a perfect front deck area for my neighbor across the street, and he love's it..All in all, a great job all the way around..Thank you guys..

Javier at Terra Tiles & Pavers was extremely responsive and so helpful as I sought HOA approval for this new patio project. Because I live on a golf course, I required HOA approval from not one board but two (one for the Townhouse & one for the golf course). Because I was extending the pavers out from the original design AND I was seeking approval to put pavers around a tree where the roots had lifted the previous pavers; the HOA was granting approval only if I agreed to bring down my beloved tree. I absolutely did not want to bring down the tree but I really wanted this patio project completed. Javier spoke directly with the communities tree expert and explained how he planned to complete the project and maintain the integrity of the tree and the patio. As a result of Javier's involvement, I obtained HOA approval from both boards, gained approval to keep the tree and to top it off, the patio looks absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this company for any tile and/or paver project.

Project went great! We had a large area that needed to be worked on. The crews worked diligently and did a beautiful job! Terra corrected issues with our roadway that we were not aware of until they showed us. We are already receiving compliments on how great it looks.

I found Terra Tiles and Pavers a very prompt and professional crew to work with. I am a widow, yet they never treated me with anything but the utmost respect. The job looks fantastic and the crews were thoughtful and extremely hard workers,The pattern is very nice......................I still smile everyday when I pull into the driveway.

This Company is amazing to work with! Xavier (the owner) was always reachable and we received our quote within a day which was most acceptable as others were higher! Once we scheduled the day to commence the repair on the walkway, the job was performed immediately and completed by the end of the day. The next stage was Pressure Cleaning! I have never seen such hard working and dedicated staff as these guys, we observed them power washing each paver one by one, they all look like brand new now! Great work for sure. The following day was Sealing of the Pavers also completed within the day. Our Building has 5 tenants and a huge parking area for our patients, never once were they compromised at any time! Most Professional and Trustworthy Company that I would recommend to anybody who is in the need of new or repair of pavers. Great Job Xavier, you have a fabulous staff who respect you and perform their duties well, feel proud of them as they represent your Company! I would just like to add that I have no idea of where the "negative reviews" are coming from! I have found nothing negative about them in their work, in fact totally the opposite, they are a great company and only wish there were more companies like them!

We were very impressed with the excellent job done through out the project cycle. The price was reasonable too. Javier with whom we dealt with was very patient in listening to us, was very quick in grasping and understanding our requirements/needs, and was able to come up with alternative proposals in a very short time. The whole project from signing on the contract to the finish took less than a month with the on-site job lasting less than a week (even though some concrete work still needs some fixes and pavers the near the front entry door are yet to be replaced). When we needed to discuss some small things, Javier himself came to the site to make sure the things were done in the right way. The crew was also excellent - on time and finished the job as per the planned schedule. The new circular driveway looks awesome and got the attention of our entire neighborhood. I highly recommend Terra Tiles and Pavers.

On time. Very professional and knowledgeable about his business. Did what he said he would and came back at no charge to do additional work.

Terra performed the walkway work as promised, however, there was an area that was uneven. They promised to fix the problem, but never did. We had also asked them to provide samples for an enclosed screen porch floor. They claim to have sent samples to me twice (I live out of state in the summer). Each time the samples never arrived and we had to chase down the rep, Joshua, to find out where they were. He said that UPS broke them and threw them out ? both times. Joshua was repeatedly condescending and rude to our landscaper, property manager, decorator and myself each time one of us had contact with him. Today, after speaking with the decorator about the missing samples, he called the property manager to say that Terra would no longer work on the property. We've never encountered problems like this with contractors in the past. Based of the sub par work performed and the unprofessional behavior of their representative, I cannot give them a favorable rating.
