BEWARE: Don't let George's charming personality fool you into working with him. Between a neighbor's recommendation and some online reviews I thought this would be a positive experience. Was I wrong. George had little consideration for my time, most of the time showing up hours late or on multiple occasions showing up at all. I felt like I was babysitting, constantly calling him to see if he was going to show up or not. George really wanted to wallpaper my bedroom wall when I was out of town so as to surprise me when I returned. Since I was out of town,I had my sister pay him when he finished the job. Unfortunately, she didn't inspect before paying him. As the photos show, he did an awful job and promised to fix it. This was over a month ago. George will not answer my texts or emails, and his voicemail box is full. He has a deposit of $3,600 to make a custom sofa. Based on George's lack of response I think my money is gone even though my neighbor texted me "Don't worry he is good for it." Let's hope she's right. I will happily update this review if George fixes the bad wallpaper job and returns my deposit.

George is a perfectionist. So nice to see someone to take time to help you choose the right products and to perform the work properly. Thank you, George

I spoke to owner, George Rios, on the phone and brought in my expensive upholstery and pillow forms to make pillows. Dropped them off and didn't hear for two weeks. Called and left many messages but calls were never answered. I finally went there and a non-English speaking person said there was no George there. I was able to locate my pillow forms and fabric on the premises and left. This is the kind of business that can be open one day and closed the next. BEWARE!

the chair restoration was full of challenges - in fact, two other upholsterers did not want to attempt the job. George was aware of the special issues, and explained the steps necessary to restore the piece. he did not hesitate to take the chair and restore it. he did a beautiful job! - it looked exactly like the pristine piece it had been prior to shipping. George explained the issues in dealing with the leather pieces. he was honest as to what the best outcome could be, making us aware that the leather could not be completely repaired. again, he did a great job - no one would notice where the leather had been damaged. he and his associate were professional and it's obvious they care about their customer and want to provide superior quality. I have two lists for subcontractors and service providers - heroes and villains. S.O.S. is definitely on my hero's list!

They did an excellent job and he was very courteous. He was very thorough and very nice. Showed us everything he was doing. He even came out after hours. I was very impressed.

They charged a fair price and did a great job!
