+ -1 moreRocky and his very experienced men were very punctual and they showed me the work as they went along. I explained problem with standing water and they sanded down concrete and painted carefully not near weep holes or aluminum. They even touched up bad paint job. I was very impressed with their dedication and commitment to the job and concern to fix the problem.
Description of Work: I needed to have weep holes expanded to concrete and diversion of rain water on back corner due to previous bad paint job which caused leak to my neighbor downstairs.

+ -1 moreA couple of days later on Saturday Feb 13, Rocky and 2 crew came and dug up our garden area in preparation for the work. He apparently didn't go to the county to get the permit until Feb 16 at which time the permit was denied in lieu of getting 5 easement consents from the 5 utility companies. He came to my house on the 17th and told me I needed to get these easement consent forms. He would not do it. I struggled to fax these forms to the 5 utility companies with explanations of what was required and a copy of our property survey. In the course of three weeks I was able with several emails, phone calls etc, to aquire 3 of the 5 needed consents. At this time I was told I would not receive consents from Comcast or AT&T. Meanwhile our garden area was mud and dirt, all the grass having been removed. I was advised to do a Paver patio instead of a Concrete one as I would not need a permit. Rocky stated he doesn't do Pavers. He then insisted I pay him the $57.50 he had paid for the permit application. I sent him the check and asked that he return the contract with "Void" and his initials to me. He has cashed the check but has refused to send me the voided contract. Not really sure why he is holding on to it. The permit application has been voided by the county. He is not taking my calls nor calling me back.
Description of Work: This is a 24 unit Condo, we signed a contract for Rockycrete to make a 22'X22' concrete patio for us in our center garden area. The contract we signed stated Rocky would get the permit from the county for the work. The contract was signed on Feb. 8th.

Description of Work: Let me tell you this...we had called 3 other concrete companies the first company made my husband wait from 9am until 12pm ,and never showed up for the 9 am appointment...sad to say my husband lost time and money from work ! The second guy pulled up the next day on time but had 4 guys in his beat up truck..2 in the back and 2 in the front.( Real professional ! ) keep in mind we are looking he to get a new circular driveway....he came with 4 guys but forgot his tape measure..lol.he He began walking the driveway area and counting the square footage with each step. His price was really low....The next company came in ...he had a tape measure ...real nice truck....big talker ,salesmen....his bid was super high...!! Finally my husband found Rockycrete concrete! The owner Rocky was just a real deal honest straight shooter! He pulled up proptly with his measuring wheel and business card and with a professional handshake! We really felt comfortable with Rocky ,his experience in the business showed ,and a perfect gentlemen. When he gave us our estimate which was not the lowest but in the middle. Everything that he promised to deliver was on the money. He walked us thru the contract each step and made sure we all were agreeable and happy with the terms.The permitting process was a walk in the park...Rocky took our survey made copies and sketched the project out perfectly for the city processors. when the work began his company cleaned up each day after construction. The site was never dirty nor ever left without caution cones ,and yellow ribbon.. His workers were well mannered and they all took pride in their work . When the concrete trucks came ...Rocky took complete charge and ran his crew completely with class and with professional experience! Our driveway looks beautiful thanks to Rocky Crete Concrete!!! On time ,Quality, a complete ease and pleasure to have met Rocky's concrete company, we highly recommend Rocky Crete concrete .... Thank You Rocky and company for your loyalty ,quality and professionalism!!!!!! The Rubio Family construction
