Rat Busters

Rat Busters fixed the rat problem I had at an affordable price. No hidden fees or extra services. I just told them I had rats and wanted them gone and they came in and got rid of them. It was exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking for an affordable rat removal company that's not going to try and upsell you on a bunch of bs you don't need and just comes in and does the job, these guys are perfect.

They can have 1 star because they were friendly and fast. On the phone I was never informed that I would be the one to remove the traps with the dead rats and that setting the traps are the ONLY thing actually covered for the fee. He made it sound like I was getting some full blown service. They don’t make a single trip back to check the traps or remove them. I have a newborn and health issues, them coming to trap and remove was the whole point in calling them to come out!!!! I was told I would start to smell them when they were caught and dead!! Each potential opening found is an additional $100 to seal and let me tell you, my lazy teenager would have made it look nicer than that. I wish I could post a picture of all the crappy looking foam exploding out of the front of my house. And let me tell you, the rats are not going to touch the traps they set bc i had one in the garage set the same way and never caught them. They use the $2 traps from Home depot and Slim Jim’s so do yourself a favor and save yourself the money!!! I didn’t find out about the limit of their service until after they had set the traps, naturally. If i had known otherwise I would have told them to leave and called someone that would have set AND removed.

Kevin sent out Patrick and Art. They surveyed inside and out. They thought best course of action would be to cut a small square in the inside drywall, so they could set a snap trap, which they did on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. The next morning, I checked the trap and there was a nice sized Curly-Tail Lizard, that had “bought the farm.” After removing him, I reset the trap. The rest of the week, nothing else was caught and the scratching, behind the wall had stopped. Could not give you the cost, so I put down $1.00. The Association will discuss the cost with the Vendors. So, very happy with Patrick and Art. They were right on time, very personable, and did a very professional job. Thanks also to Bill McGuire from Pest Relief, as he made it all happen. It’s good to have quality Contractors, and my wife and I greatly appreciated their services.

Reliable company, always on time and service as promised. Lifetime guarantee, they had to come back after a few months and took care of what was needed. Patrick and Art did a great job, thanks.

Was told that they woul check for openings. when I got home hey had the ladder up against roof. they said they found a opening and it would be additional opening. It would cost an additional $ 100.00 to seal\.I told toi seal. He went up the ladder sprayed the hole and was done in 2 minutes. I think they are a rip off.

This company is very responsive and punctual, they came out the day I called. The guys that came out were nice and respectful. The service visit was $299, and for that they survey the situation, set traps, and then propose a final price that includes sealing the house, putting out bait boxes, and 3 follow up visits to remove and rebait traps. For this full service I was quoted $799. It was implied to me that the high cost was related to the seal up job being somewhat involved and included 6 areas. The seal job is basically wire mesh and expanding foam, and was done in about 35 minutes. I was told that they would trim away the excess expanding foam the next time they came. After they left, I went on the roof myself because I noticed they missed sealing a major opening right where I had told them several times that I was hearing nightly activity. The opening here was unmistakable, and could be seen from the front yard. It was certainly one area they were getting in, as I continued to hear nightly activity there. They did seal this the next visit, but used a lot of foam. Again, they said they would trim it so it was not so obvious. They did make the follow up visits and caught/removed several rats. I kept reminding them to trim the excess foam, and they said they would. On the last visit I reminded them again to trim the foam, since it was unsightly in the front of the house. At that time they told me they couldn't trim because it would chip away the part of foam they actually need to seal. I suggested that they just trim this with a roto dremel type tool. They said "oh yeah, I have one on the truck, I will try that". When I went outside 5 minutes later, they had just drove off and never trimmed the foam. After the last trip, I went thru the attic myself and found some large gaps around two vent stacks going thru the roof. I sealed those, and also sealed a rather large hole around my outside AC penetrations that they said did not need sealing. Why not just take 2 minutes and seal it? One other small issue was the bait boxes not being fastened. On a windy day, I found 2 of them blown over and 15 ft away from the house. I'm afraid when they are overturned, the bait (poison) can tumble out and get eaten by pets or birds. My neighbor has these boxes too, and his exterminator installed/fastened them to small square stones so they can't move. Overall, my problem is now solved, but I feel that for $800, the service should have been performed better without the shortcomings mentioned above. In the future, I will just do this myself.

The company field reps determined the animal was no longer inside the crawlspace and sealed the crawlspace so no future entry was possible. Sealing job was neat and secure.

It was a pleasant experience. I called a number of companies that were going to make me wait to come out and do an estimate for me. Rat Busters came out right away and made the whole thing very painless. The guy who showed up was very nice and explained everything he had to do to guarantee his work. If this is the experience that all of their customers have I would recommend them to anyone looking to have animals pests removed from their property.

What did the provider do? More like what didn't the provider do... Their services also came with a LIFETIME guarantee which trumps all of the local competition. They came back to my house and continued to service me until the problem was nonexistent. The best part about this was that they were on time to all of their seven scheduled appointments! I would highly recommend the Rat Busters team for anyone in need of nuisance wildlife prevention, termination and removal. Let’s not forget their AWESOME looking work truck!
