We hired Randy and his crew for two jobs - new tile flooring for the whole house, and marble installation in the bathroom - and we are very impressed with the work! Both jobs were done on schedule and completed with a high level of attention to detail. I highly recommend R&K Tile!

Randy and his helper did a fantastic job installing over 2000 sq ft of porcelain plank tile in our entire home. I cant say enough about how clean and efficient they worked, and the floor looks fantastic! They also installed a beautiful stone backsplash. Highly reccomend R and K Tile

Mediocre installation at best. They did their best but in no way can I recommend this company. Many defects in floor that I now have to live with. Tons of uneven tiles.

Fantastic from start to finish, very happy with Randy and David's professionalism, expertise and demeanor.

He was good in the beginning, however he walked off the job and never finished. Some of the marble is chipped and the baseboard tops are now fraying. He does not return calls.

If you are in the need of tile professional, look no further. Randy, the owner and his assistant David are the most professional, responsible, reliable contractors I have ever had the pleasure to work with. The project lasted for 5 weeks and each day both men arrived at 8:00 a.m. sharp and stayed the entire day never leaving us to begin work elsewhere. They worked efficiently together as a team offering suggestions, yet more than willing to listen and follow my wishes even if they differed (Incidentally, I should have listened to their suggestions). I am very detail oriented and was worried about the quality of the installation. The tile they installed was 32 X 32 porcelain tile and the floors were uneven in many places. They needed to tie the bedroom tile into the hallway tile so that the transition was smooth. They accomplished it all seamlessly. Randy and David each have very amenable temperaments and handle any unexpected issues with ease. They were also was very flexible regarding working with other contractors on the job and was helpful to them without ever being asked. Per my request, the bathroom needed additional design elements added to the original scope of the work. Randy was very reasonable in his added pricing. In summary, we have remodeled most of our 4200 square foot home over the years and at the end of the projects our relationships with the contractors never seem to end on a positive note. Quite the opposite is true with R&K Tile. We finished the project with a better relationship that when we began. So much so that we have already begun discussions regarding our final project, a hall bathroom. If you are in a rush and need to wait until Randy can fit you into his calendar... be patient and wait. You will be happy you did.

Randy responded promptly and came out a few days later to provide the estimate. Based on my conversation with Randy, and what was fair pricing in my opinion I chose to hire Randy, notifying him a few days to a week after the quote. Randy took the job, but did indicate that he had secured a large bathroom remodel since we spoke and it would be 2 weeks until he could start. I understood and had no problem with the delay. We set a date for 2 Saturdays later to start. The Tuesday prior Randy called and left a message that his job was running longer and that he would not be able to make Saturday, asked that I call to reschedule. Things happen... so I called the next day to reschedule.. no response, I called again the following day, still no response. Saturday Morning Randy calls at 9:30a and says Hello.. I am headed over, about 30 min away. Thinking he had a free spot I rush into motion and clear the kitchen, and prep for his arrival. :45, and hour passes and no Randy. I call to make sure he's still coming, Randy answers the phone and acts surprised to hear from me. As we talk he explains that he is really busy and hasn't called because he has no idea now when he can do my job. When I tell him he called me at 9:30, he was speechless and let slip that he was out bidding other jobs at the time. So not only did he cancel on me, he lied about why. It was more important for him to go bid other jobs than complete one he had in hand. He seems like a nice guy, but I would stay away. Unless you have a $50,000+ remodel Randy and R&K can't be bothered. Im now weeks behind, have a stripped kitchen and rushing to find a new tile installer. Thanks R&K ... Thanks for NOTHING!

They were professional and finished the job on time. They exceeded my expectations.

I tried two websites for a small bathroom renovation. HomeAdvisor: I contacted 3 contractors. Only one responded and he did a ludicrous estimate for $9000!! Angie's list: looked through the reviews and chose R & K Tile LLC (Boca Raton area, Florida). They completed the work on time for $2900. Having worked in construction myself during my college years ago I found, Randy, the contractor of R & K Tile, professional, timely and honest. I would use him again.

Randy is great to work with, very good guy. Honest, punctual - showed up at 7:30 every morning, keeps a tidy work place, has excellent helpers. I trusted him with a key to my house. Finding people like Randy is very hard in South Florida, I highly Reccomended him.

Excellent! Randy arrived with a professional helper at 8:00 A.M. 12 x 24 ceramic tiles were installed in the shower. He also did a beautiful job on the niche and shower seat. I had picked out a nice glass tile that went on the face of the seat and inside the niche. What are you looking for in a good tile install? Lines perfectly straight, grout lines tight, even cuts...... then I would have to give Randy an A+. Outside bathroom floor were 12 x 12 ceramic tiles set on a diagonal. Total work days: 3. On the last day he grouted.

We were very pleased with the outcome. Randy was professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Our newborn daughter had just arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected and the bathroom remodel was already scheduled. Though the baby had just come home from the hospital, we decided to go forward with the work anyway. Randy did his best to keep the job as quiet as possible and was very respectful of our situation. He also took great care to protect the rest of the house from construction debris and damage, putting down tarps to protect our flooring. Our project included a mix of tile types - large format natural stone on the floor and some walls and smaller glass tiles on one wall. Randy did a nice job with both types. The glass tile was installed in a stacked bond pattern, which is pretty unforgiving if there are alignment issues. While not 100% perfect, the tile was installed about as good as could be expected based on my existing wall framing so I have to give Randy an A for this installation. The only quibble I have with the stone wall tile on the other walls is that there are inconsistencies with the pattern. For this tile, I requested a running bond, which is the alternating joint pattern seen in a typical brick wall. In our installation, there are 4 locations on one wall where you would expect to see a joint, based on the pattern, but no joint is present. These were all in short runs where continuing the pattern would have required a tile to be cut into two pieces. The installer chose to install a single piece rather than make the cut, either in error or to save time. On another wall with the same tile, the joints are offset in a consistent pattern but that pattern isn't the same as the wall with the running bond pattern. 99 percent of people looking at these walls will not notice these errors but, still, they are there. I didn't notice these issues until quite some time after the work was finished. If you use R & K, I am sure you will be pleased with the results. But watch the work as it progresses, like you should with anyone performing work in your home, and request corrections along the way. Had I paid closer attention, I'm sure I could give R & K a PERFECT review. Despite these issues, and a B on Quality (there's no A- or B+ option) I'm still giving them an overall grade of A for this project. In fact, I'll be contacting them shortly to request a quote for floor tile installation throughout the whole house.

Wow...Randy and R&K Tile are everything you want a contractor to be. And honestly, that really stands out in this region, where it can be hard to get a call back, much less a job well done. Randy was prompt with every communication, showed up when he said he would, got the job done in the time frame he estimated, and for a very fair price. I would recommend this company to anyone with any tiling needs, without hesitation. I will absolutely hire him the next time we have a tile job. Oh, and the floor looks fantastic! He matched our existing tile on the first floor, and it looks like the new floor has been there forever. Outstanding job.

Randy was quick to respond to my request for an estimate and came out right away. He was excellent in communicating from the beginning, all the way through completion of the job. He was very prompt and arrived exactly as promised and he and David finished the job within the time frame given, even earlier. His work is very neat and clean. The job came out beautifully and Randy was wonderful to work with.

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience using Randy Fiorio and his assistant, David. Randy showed up on the very day I called to hopefully get an estimate. The estimate was VERY competitive, and fair. Randy & David each day of the job showed up on time, ready to work, most days until late afternoon. Both gentlemen were very courteous, respectful, and pleasant. The job went as planned, about 4-1/2 days. Both Randy & David paid close attention to the details, to our questions, and responded favorably to our minor concerns. The end result of the tile work was excellent, both my Wife and I are very pleased and would highly recommend R & K Tile to anyone facing a tile project, big or small.

Randy is the best!! Initially he was so quick to respond, came out within 24 hours to take a look and give me a quote. I had a tight deadline as I am having a baby in a week and needed to get the work done before our family came in town and he was able to work me in between his other jobs. He kept in touch with me during the entire job and even came and worked on his birthday!! He's a great guy and his crew also did a great job. I've hired quite a few contractors and Randy was one of the best to work with. The shower turned out beautifully and I felt that I paid a fair price for the amount of work that was done. I would HIGHTY recommend R&K Tile and will definitely be calling him again next time we have a project. Couldn't be happier!

So I added a backsplash and as always called R and K Tile ( Randy) as he's done all my tiling work. Was a little higher in price than I thought it would be as I think he's gotten a bit busy ( was 22 Sq Ft of tile cutting laying and grouting) but the job was done well and I'm happy overall.

It is plain and simple. This guy did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it and performed quality work. From the quote, to the finished job, Randy's communication was excellent. He showed up everyday on time. He layed down drop cloths to protect the carpet during demolition and installation, and kept the mess to a minimum. All the tile work, including a good amount of mosaic, was top notch. We had no complaints and plan to hire him again to do our other bath. I always think it is a good idea to get quotes from different companies. I did that when I was looking to have this job done. With both of the other companies that came to my house to give me a quote, It was clear that I was talking to a salesperson who was there to sell the job. It was comforting to know that when Randy came to give me a quote, I was talking to the person that would be perfoming the work.

Randy did a FABULOUS job, it was very obvious that he takes pride in his work. He was on time and stayed on the job until it was completed. Randy and Dave worked with my wife on the placement of the tile, they were very patient. I would highly recommend R&K Tile for any tile work.......

While this is a small bathroom, the requirements to make it result in a perfect job, include three visits . . Randy did NOT try to rush it, in order to save himself time or a trip. . . . one visit to prepare the existing area and let it dry, a second to lay the tile and let that dry as well, and then return a third time to grout and clean up (and install the new toilet.) Randy and his assistant worked cleanly and carefully, with no wasted time. A truly superb job! Very personable, professional and knowledgeable. When you call, he's the one you deal with . . no middle-man or assistant; no delay in getting the information you need. We have just contracted with him to do even more tile work (both a shower floor and a section of wall.). As an aside . . . the 10% courtesy discount to Angie's List members was a nice gesture, too!! Absolutely satisfied with the completed job and the experience of dealing with Randy.

Randy installed tile a new bathroom. He made this such a wonderful experience. I spoke to several contractors, who I felt weren't as knowledgeable as Randy. He was very patient and when we needed something he got it. He didn't gauge me and his work was excellent. They were there every day and completed the job when they said they would. We had removed a tub and they put in a shower. We also used decorative tile on one wall that looks amazing. Robert who worked with him also did an outstanding job and even finished some of the drywall in the bathroom. I would definitely recommend them.
