Cassio is the real deal! He takes pride in his workmanship and the results show. I had him resurface a yellow tub from 1972 and also a shower. The key to great results is proper preparation and he spends hours making sure the surface is prepared properly to accept the epoxy paint. No need to look elsewhere , Cassio is the Man!

We got two written estimates for this job. The first estimate from another company was hundreds of dollars more than the estimate Casio of Platinum gave us. ( both companies were going to use the same product.) We are still waiting for a call back from the third company. Casio came out when scheduled, was a pleasure to work with and did a great job. He leaves a clean work area. Our master bath looks terrific. The coating he put on the shower floor is a game changer for us. The master bath has been redone several times but each time the floor was left very slippery. It was not a safe situation. Now, the whole area is skid proof. I am really happy and relieved. The second part of the job was glazing over a very long aged laminate covered marine plywood counter. Another success. The glazing has completely restored the functionality of the work space. Would definitely hire Casio again.

Cassio arrived on schedule and got to work patching the tub and preparing it for the reglazing. The results were perfect and I couldn't be happier. I'm only sorry that I didn't do it sooner. The tub looks like new. I would definitely hire again.

Cassio actually called and came early to refinish the tub in our guest bath in the home we just purchased. It was an old green tub that he refinished white. He did a great job, the tub looks beautiful! He was SO pleasant to have here and we are so pleased. I would highly recommend him!!!

Awful Job and doesn't stand behind his work, I recommended this company to my brother from Angie's list. Right after Cassio completed the job he told us, we might have an issue because the shower was holding water. In 60 days, I had to call him out because mold was coming through the refurnishing. He came out and instead of re-doing the job, he used calking (which cracked and came off - he said he used the wrong type of caulking the first time) that was coming off already and patched the areas of concern. I mentioned to him this shouldn't happen 60 days after completion of the job, he mentioned there was a problem with the shower, I asked him why he did the job and take my $500? He said no problem, he would stand behind his product. Two months later the shower looks awful and Cassio doesn't answer my calls or text - a real ripoff artist. Don't waste your money

He did our bathtub more than six months ago, and the job looks very good. Will hire again if needed.

This was the second time I use this company. Cassio is an expert sprayer of tubs and tiles. They come out great. I really like the products he uses too, which are Midwest Chemicals. Thank you Cassio!

Platinum Refinishers did a beautiful job refinishing a 1980 tub and tiles. He even charged me less! than quoted to do the baseboard tile because he said it was less work than he had originally thought. The tub and tile came out even better than I imagined,it looks brand new! Cassio Silveira (the owner) was professional, cheerful and was a pleasure to do business with! If I had another tub to refinish I would hire him again.

The attached pictures show why I am still smiling weeks after Cassio completed the refinish job on the master bath shower stall. The job took only 1 day. He left the work area spotless. Price was very reasonable compared to having a contractor come in and rip out the tiles and re-tile the entire shower area. Most importantly, I LOVE how my shower stall looks now. The house was built in the ?80s. Having the tiles refinished is an excellent way to refresh the look of a bathroom.

Cassio is a true professional who performs his craft very well ! He has a great attitude and really seems to enjoy what he does. I called on Wednesday to make a make an appointment to have my guest bathroom tub reglazed. I reached the owner, Cassio immediately. After explaining that I wanted our gold bathtub reglazed to white, Cassio asked a few questions and quoted a cost of $295 plus an additional $25 for digs or holes that would require treating. On Friday morning when Cassio arrived for the appointment, he explained what he was going to do and said he filled the digs and holes at no extra cost. He was very polite, neat, considerate and respectful of the homeowner's needs and wishes. He took his time and did a beautiful job! He even added a non-slip surface to the bottom as an Angie'List bonus which is a wonderful safety feature! Cassio obviously takes pride in his work and we reaped the benefits! I would definitely recommend Platinum Refinishing to anyone interested in reglazing their tub.

Excellent job and very professional. It looks like new. Cassio responded to my call promptly and was punctual regarding the appointment. He explained the process, answered all my questions and then got right to work. I would say the job took about 4-5 hrs. He obviously takes pride in his work and pays attention to detail. He cleaned up the work area when he finished and left it spotless. Definitely got my money's worth: $200 for the tub and $295 for the tile surrounding the tub. He even included the tile baseboard which I had forgotten to mention when he gave me the quote. There are quite a few on Angie's list that do this work in my area and I read the reviews carefully. I would recommend him without reservation.

He worked two days in total, one for about 8 hours and the other for 10 hours to complete the job. Cassio is very professional and meticulous in his work. He produces a high quality job at a reasonable price.We are extremely happy with the end product. Both bathrooms look brand new. If we ever move to a new home, we would certainly call him back to refinish the bathrooms in this home too. We highly recommend him!!!
