removal of wallpaper went well, walls remained smooth & were easy to paint, service was very good, professional & cleaned area before leaving.

Painted an entire room with 2 coats. While the 1st coat was drying, he did touch-up work around the house on some nicks and baseboards. Looks great!!

It took awhile for them to return calls, and then he changed the service date, but once work was completed it was done well

The work done is excellent. It was done in a timely fashion and the staff Mr Seebach sent to do our job was punctual, neat and a pleasure to work with. The quality of the paint used was top notch. Hubby and I are used to doing our own painting, and in fact I was painting a bedroom while the living room was being painted; but since we are used to providing our own free labor the costs to have the living room painted by another was a bit of a shock. We did not get other estimates but based on Mr Seebach's excellent reviews on Angie's List I strongly suspect that his charges are well within the norm for this quality of work. This a second house for us and we were only on the premises for 4 days and Mr Seebnach was able to accomodate our time constraints in getting this job done. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again

I purchased a house of approximately 1,900 square feet, which needed, among other things, to have its interior completely painted, including the popcorn ceilings. The house had obviously been repeatedly painted over its 30 year life by amateurs, and it showed. Perusing painters on Angie?s List led me to Larry Seeabach Painting, who had many excellent reviews, and to whom I eventually gave the work. I?m pleased to say that he and his crew did a fine job, in a timely manner, and I am very happy with the result. I chose Larry because, among other things, he answers his own phone, is responsive, and he has a can-do attitude. I was to find out that he knows his business and he is flexible. When we spoke, I explained that time was of the essence. We met to survey and estimate the job on June 19th, with a start date of June 24. Larry actually laid the groundwork by delivering his equipment two days early, on Saturday, June 22nd ?So we can get started working right away on Monday morning.? I LIKE that kind of attitude. True to his word, Larry and two other painters arrived at 8:00AM on Monday and set to work prepping the walls. Larry and his crew worked steadily through the week and into the next, including the July 4th Independence holiday, without interruption. I inspected the completed work on the 4th and again on the 5th, and paid for the job exactly as estimated. I mentioned that I found Larry to be flexible. This an admirable trait and one seldom found in a contractor. A couple of instances come to mind. When the job was estimated, it was decided that the hallway ceilings were to be given an Orange Peel finish. The day before they were to be done, I decided that I wanted a Knock-Down finish instead. I asked Larry if we could change, and what the charge would be. He cheerfully said ?Sure, no problem and no extra charge.? He could have charged me something, but didn?t. In the middle of the job I got the idea that it would be nice if two existing bi-fold closet doors could be removed and replaced with regular swinging doors. I asked if he knew of someone who could do the work right away. He quoted me a very fair price and did the change-out himself the next day. While the painting was in progress, I decided to have the 400 square foot garage ceiling painted. Larry again quoted me a very fair price, painted it, and he and his crew still got everything done by the appointed completion date. That?s what I mean by flexible. In the end, I paid exactly what Larry had quoted, plus the agreed upon price for the doors and garage ceiling. To sum up, Larry Seebach began the job on time, completed the job on time, and for the price quoted. I inspected the finished job with Larry and found everything to have been done as specified. He was flexible and easy-going when it came to on-the-fly changes in the job. He followed up with a phone call about a week after the job was completed to make sure I was completely satisfied.

This job did not go well.!!! Although the worker did arrive on time, he did not even bring any ladder with him, even though I had told the owner Larry Seebach how high the 2 walls were for the wallpaper to be removed from. Regardless of the height of the walls, I would have thought he would bring at least 1 ladder! The worker was upset that the owner had not been here to conduct a pre-survey of the job. My husband provided the worker with ladders so he could proceed with the job, although that is normally something we would not do, based on liability issues for us. After about 2 hours into the job, the worker's sprayer did not work to soak off the backing from the wallpaper. The owner came by and then left to go to Home Depot to purchase a new sprayer for the worker. So now we're 2 1/2 hours into the 4 hour Angies deal purchased with virtually nothing accomplished! The owner asked me if I wanted his worker to stay the rest of the day (of course @ an additional expense to me) and I said yes, only because at this point my house was in a total mess!! I have taken numerous photos of this job should you like to view them. I found it interesting that this company advertises "Drywall Repair" and now I know why. There are so many gouges in the drywall from the walls the worker did complete, that it amazed me. Two days after this company left, my husband (who has never removed wallpaper in his life) removed all the remaining wallpaper without a single gouge in the drywall. I guess I just expected excellent service from a Angie's List provider and that is not what I received.

The experience went fine from the moment they contacted me after I purchased the deal(and they are the only company of the deals I have bought that actually called me after the purchase to follow up.They came when promised ,performed the service and cleaned up after themselves.

An appointment was made, I rang to confirm 2x, no answer, no response, no show. Stopping payment on my credit card now. How disappointing, my thought is that my job was small so he just brushed me off.

Larry said he could repair the drywall part no problem, & could do the plaster repair but it would look like a patch job. He recommended I contact a real plaster company or a stucco company. He also said they should be able to repair the drywall also, that it would be better & less expensive for me to have the same company do both rather than have him come back just for the drywall job. I really appreciated his candor & willingness to give up a job to give me some good advice. He did warn me that it would probably be difficult to find a company who could do it because it's pretty much a lost art; if this becomes the case, I will probably use him for both.

Larry called timely, showed up on time and did a full pressure clean on my patio. Was very thorough and proffesional

Larry was on time and courteous. He arrived on time each of the three days he was here. He repaired the drywall around our first floor window and painted as well. I would definitely recommend him to friends in the future.

It turned out very good and this is the second time that I have used them and it was a very positive experience. I would use them again.

Our daughter moved out and the walls in her bedroom were in poor shape due to teenage years of hanging posters, artwork etc. They needed to be repaired and painted as we are converting it to a guest bedroom. Larry was very prompt in responding to our request for an estimate and gave us a fair price. He sent his employee Richard to do the work. It took almost 2 full days to complete because he took the time to make sure the job was done right and paid attention to every detail. The closet and shelving was also patched and painted, as well as baseboards and doors. Larry stopped by midday on the 2nd day to make sure all was going well and up to our expectations. It came out better than our expectations. We will definitely contact Larry again in the future for our painting needs and will recommend him to others as well.

4 months later the room is still not completed and the provider has never returned. Numerous phone calls have occurred. About once every 2 weeks. With each phone call, the provider and owner- Larry Seebach, would be very apologetic and say he would be out in the next 2 weeks and would call me back. He asked for sympathy for being very busy. Today, after yet another conversation where once again he said maybe in the next 2 weeks he could come back out, we told him we wanted a refund. He said no problem, but you must go through Angie's list for the refund. So, he were are typing this complaint. I do not know how to go about getting our money back- but we have a have finished room for over 2 months and I feel as if this service provider is using Angie's list like a piggy bank for quick cash and then never performs the services. Larry Seebach is a great choice if you need a professional, neat, reliable, trustworthy, and friendly painter! We purchased a condo that was built and decorated in 1978. The condo was in great shape, but had lots of wallpaper that did not go with our furnishings. We are new to the Delray Beach area, so we did not know a good painter. We found Larry Seebach on Angie's List, and because he was highly rated, we asked him to give us a quotation. We also received a quotation (similar price) from a painter recommended to us at a paint store; however, we decided to go with Larry because of his high Angie's List rating. Because removing old wallpaper is "iffy" in terms of time and labor required, Larry quoted the painting separately from the wallpaper removal. He gave us a discount (from Angie's List) for the first day of wallpaper removal and then used that day to help estimate how much longer it would take to finish the removal. We requested specific paint colors, and Larry happily matched the colors for us. We had to leave town before the job was finished, and we had no qualms living Larry to finish the job on his own. We were not disappointed. He finished the job beautifully. He even cleaned up wonderfully--the floors, carpets, and other areas were left spotless. Larry is one of the few painters who will do wallpaper removal (it's quite a job!), and he is a great painter. We would not hesitate to hire Larry again, and we have already recommended him to others.

Larry and his crew were professional on time and very tidy. It is much easier to paint an interior when its empty, it takes great organization to provide this service amongst the clients personal belongings. He does a great job providing this service. I felt very comfortable with his staff. They did a very good job and in a timely manner with the least amount of discomfort. They were detailed and friendly and the same time. I will use him again to paint the rest of my home.

Although I decided not to go ahead with my painting project; this company came out to my house the very next day after calling them. Larry, the owner, was really professional and knowledgeable of his trade

I just bought a new home and I was interested in having both the interior and exterior painted along with crown moulding and baseboards added to the entire home. After reading the many favorable reviews Larry Seebach Painting received on Angie?s List, I figured I would give him a try. Before going through the expense of hiring Mr. Seebach for such a large and potentially expensive job, I first wanted to view some of his work for myself, so I purchased one of his ?Big Deal? offers. I called Mr. Seebach to schedule the service and I found myself calling him everyday without a getting a return callback. Just when I had given up, Mr. Seebach finally returned my call for which I was unavailable so he left me a message; I called him back immediately and I got his voicemail, yet again. I?ve requested a refund from Angie?s List and I?m pretty sure they will oblige my request.

He was very busy (I guess the Angie's List special got a lot of business) and called to say he couldn't get to me for a few weeks. Then he called and set up an appointment and forgot about it. I didn't appreciate clearing my day and being disappointed, and if I hadn't called him to see what happened, I'm not sure what would have happened. When he finally called me that he could do the work, the only day that I had available due to my husband's chemo schedule, was one where he wasn't available. But he sent someone who does work for him. Rick was very prompt, very pleasant and as I said obviously was a professional. If I were to hire this company again, I would probably ask him to send Rick.

We discovered Larry Seebach through an Angie's List special for four hours of wallpaper removal for $99.00. If you've ever tried to remove wallpaper, you know this was a real bargain. Our guest bathroom had floor to ceiling wallpaper. We also had a large hole in the drywall from former water damage. Larry certainly had his work cut out for him. He arrived at the schedule time, and he started removing the wallpaper. He was professional and courteous. We were so impressed by the quality of his work that we asked him to give us an estimate on further work in the bathroom. His price was extremely reasonable and considerably less than competitive estimates that we had received. We knew what a consumate professional he was from the previous work. He is extremely punctual. When he says he will be there to work at a certain time, he's there. We never had to wait for him or rearrange our schedules. He is courteous and friendly. He has a good team that assists him when needed. Larry is very thorough in making sure that everything is in place before he begins work. He covered the light fixtures, the vanity, mirror, etc. so there would be no paint spatters. He textured the walls, repaired and patched the drywall, let us pick out our favorite color of paint, picked up the paint for us, and then he painted the walls, ceiling, doors and trim. When he was done with the job, he thoroughly cleaned up his mess, discarded materials appropriately,and even scrubbed our bathroom floor. His work is quite professional, and we are very pleased with the results. He did such a great job at a reasonable price that we are going to have him come back and do our guest bedroom in a couple of months. We highly recommend Larry if you want someone who is professional and that you can trust in your home. He's terrific!
