+ -1 moreShelly's designs and ideas were fine, the problem we had with her is she brought in a contractor Walter who she not only recommended but said she trusted implicitly who started out doing good work but as time went on, he not only did poor work, he never left the extra materials such as paint and the wood floor materials, Walter took our money, never finished the job, cut off his phone, and left us in a mess. We not only had to hire a different contractor to finish the stairs, but we also ended up having to pay the subcontractor who installed a new shower enclosure as Walter the contractor never paid the sub contractor so he put a lien on our home. I was so disappointed in Shelly's response to the entire situation, she literally washed her hands of the entire project and left us high and dry.
Description of Work: we hired Shelly to decorate our living room, dining, room and master bathroom. Admittedly I am not an easy client, I can't visualize changes easily which is why we hired a decorator. Shelly was patient with me and I felt as though we could trust her. we hired Shelly to provide interior design services for our home.

Description of Work: Reviewed existing floor plans of home. Assessed living space needs. Developed floor plan to meet owners requests. Provided clear, detailed, to scale drawings of floor plan.

+ -1 moreThe project was very successful. The renovation was complex, it took over a year to complete. The materials she selected were of the best quality for the budget and unique. The finished project is timeless. Her attention to detail is outstanding.
Description of Work: Worked with Ms. Preziosi in an architectural capacity. She is very competent and knowledgeable, provides information on schedule is concerned with budget, understands drawings and scope of the work, has outstanding design sense and communicates with clients and other professionals very well.
