Thank you for your review we do our best to get an A, but want to tell you about my company. All of my electrician are very hard workers and we all train on a daily base. In order to work for my company they must be licensed electrician, passed a drug test and a background check. I don't mess around with electrical and I trust every one of them to be the best at what they do. Description of Work: Paid for electrical inspection of home. Never got a response to dates that I marked for contact. Work was not performed. Is there anyway of getting a refund from this deal?

Description of Work: they said I should replace all kitchen lights and replaced one for now. It didn't work. I noticed the bulb hung down from the ceiling and called another (Angie's list) elec. Mr. Sparky. Mr. Sparky didn't even bother with a ladder or tools. He gave me 3 estimates. $19000+ to replace all electric switches, outlets, circuit board, and ceiling lights, $17,000+ for ceiling lights and circuit board, and just under $8,000 to replace just ceiling lights and circuit board. Is this what you call reliable honest service? At least Boca Elec was closer to honest. I called another elec. who said Boca Elec put in a fixture too short and hadn't noticed a contact had been pushed up. This electrician pulled the contact down so it connected, noted that Boca Elec had put in only 1 (not the 2 that came with the fixture) and that's one reason it kept going out.

I remember this job you were in a hurry because you wanted to go some where. When we installed the light it had an issue and we wanted to fix it but you had to go. Our office reached out to you to see if we can come and fix it but you already had someone else not a licensed to do the work. Not sure why you are giving us a bad review when we tried our best to help you on the lights

Description of Work: I paid for two hours electrical labor, did not hear from them for weeks so I cancelled. |I was told an employee had quit and they are re organizing the company and hope that I would give them the opportunity to gain my trust. |I responded by saying the excuse seemed genuine and made an appointment. |Eight outlets were replace in approximately one hour. |Then I was shocked when told I have to pay $279 I said no way I already paid for the service, the electrician called his boss, who insisted the ad on Angie's list stated four hours work. He and I both know he was lying and in the end I had to pay $200 Boca Electronics is a fraud and I fell for their scam. Karl Witter

Beware This company charges you $21/hr for the time that the tech leaves home, stops at Home Depot, arrives and goes back to the shop. It seems that this is over 2 hrs for a round trip from Boca to Delray near Jog & Atlantic. Can anyone out there justify that, or that I was charged portal to portal without being told????

Lou of Boca Electrical Works was great. He was flexible around my work schedule to come out to the house to evaluate the job and provide a written estimate. Once hired, his team was polite, on time, and finished all the work in a timely, and professional manner. Before leaving for the day, they cleaned up any messes they made. The finished product was great. I would (and already have) 100% recommend this company for any electrical work for your home or office.

We needed to replace a hazardous electric panel at the request of our realtor in order to sell a home. We received 3 separate quotes, and Lou at Boca Electrical was by far the most responsive and professional of all the providers we spoke with. His quote was at the lower end of the spectrum compared to the others. Ultimately, we did not hire them because the buyer for our home did not require the work to be done before the sale.
