alterations
 + -1 morePrior to the job being completed, I inquired several times about their progress and I was told that everything had been outsourced and the items were not available to be viewed. When everything was finished they called me and I picked them up only to find that everything had been done very poorly. After 8 ? months in their possession, I took the items home to find out the headboard and other items are completely infested bed bugs. They have been completely unresponsive to my complaints. I sent them a letter and they have not responded. I am now dealing with that nightmare and will most likely have to take legal recourse against the company.
Description of Work: I hired them to recover the headboard from my old bed (I lost my home in Katrina) and to make a luxury comforter for my new queen size bed, and I ordered fabric for 2 toss pillows and 2 tootsie roll pillows. When I picked everything up everything was wrapped up in plastic and it was in a bag. When I opened the bag I saw that everything was in terrible shape. I hired them to make a smooth custom finish but what I got was horrible. The comforter was lumpy, the headboard was sagging and the stitching looked like a child had done it. I returned the items and the owner herself, Dorthy Eberhart, told me they didn't want to have anything to do with it. They said they would call "Bobby" and walked to the back of the building and didn't return. When I finally talked to Bobby, who was the installer, he expressed himself verbally, was angry towards me, cursing under his breath and he also walked to the back of the building and never returned. I was insulted so I left the items there and left.

replacement windows
 + -1 moreMY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS GREAT. THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM, BUT THEY ARE COMING BACK TO REPLACE THE CAULKING AROUND THE WINDOWS.
Description of Work: THIS COMPANY WAS HIRED TO REPLACE THE WINDOWS THAT WERE BLOWN OUT BY THE HURRICANE.
