Arleen Rose Carpet & Tile

The technician re-stretched the carpet in my dining room along the bay window wall. It had been removed from the tack strip when we had a leak years ago and I didn't think it could ever be stretched back. He removed the furniture, installed some new tack strip, and was able to pull the carpet back in place. I was so relieved; it looks perfect! The other job I asked for regarded a stain (I believe from cranberry juice) in a guest bedroom. It had been there for awhile. I had attempted to clean it several times, but could never remove it. I told him I had extra carpet that he could plug in if necessary. To my surprise, he was able to remove the stain and the patching was not needed. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing as I watched. I was very impressed!

Great to work with. Good people. Wonderful workers. They also helped find a threshold for a tiled area they did not do the work on and replaced a loose tile they did not install. And, when I called to let them know that an employee had accidentally stained the carpet the first day, they came immediately to patch the area. Nobody would be able to tell that there had been a problem there at all.

Excellent from start to finish. We had carpet removed from our master bedroom and two closets. The floor was cleaned and a warterproof barrier was put down. Laminate flooring was installed in the closets and master bedroom. After the laminate flooring was complete we had white baseboards installed. All in all it was a terrific installation experience. The installer was professional, fast, and neat. Arleen Rose and her husband Lenny, could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend.

I decided to replace all the carpet in my condo with laminate floors. Before I joined Angies List, I had gotten an estimate from another company..and I also picked out my floor as well there. The estimate they gave me was really high, so I decided to seek more estimates. I joined Angies List to seek highly recommended places. I came across Arleen Rose. I went to meet with her and told her the estimate I was given and she said she could beat that price. She beat the price by almost 2000 dollars. I also showed her the floor I wanted, and even though she didn't have it, she ordered it for me. She was there through every step. She came to my house a few times and we also took a trip to the store together to get disinfectant for underneath the carpet ( I have dogs). Her company disinfected underneath my carpet for free (and the other company I talked to first was going to make me do it myself as they were ripping up the carpet). Her workers are so professional. They are kind, quiet, and respectful. The entire process took about 3 days (it was about 1000 sq ft they were doing). I felt they were so trustworthy (because one morning I wasn't there) that I left my key under the mat for them. When I returned, they were working hard. They moved everything around in my apartment, and when they were finished, they vacuumed and wiped all of the dust off. Arleen Rose is a very professional company. I highly recommend them. Also, my stairs weren't notched out correctly when my condo was built, so they spent extra time measuring and correctly cutting and angling the molding to fit my stairs. They did not have to do that, but they wanted their work to be superior. I have alot of people over at my place and my stairs get alot of use. The stair noses have come undone before (not due to insufficient installation, but due to heavy and careless step usage) so they came back for free and fixed them. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a great place, go to Arleen Rose.

Arleen Rose Carpet and Tile Company gave me a quote which I thought was high. The think the quote I got was around $6000 or $7000, I don’t remember. The person who was sent out for the estimate was very nice and professional. She was good about getting back in touch with me. However I couldn’t understand why their quote was so much higher, so I couldn’t use them. Their quote itself was given to me hand written and I thought that it was a little sloppy. Other than that everything was fine. I’m not sure if I will contact them for quotes in future only because their prices are too high.

I selected this company on the basis of proximity to my home and the fact that the company is female owned, a preference of mine having been in that position myself. Arlene Rose came to my home, brought several tile samples from which I chose one. She also brought her workman who would do the job so he could measure and figure the time. She sent me a description of the job and a firm price. I was called when the tile was available and the date set to start. The workman arrived on time, went right to work, did a beautiful job and was finished in less that two full days. I was in no was inconvenienced since all the work was done outside. I would certainly recommend this company to others.

They are delightful people, reliable, trustworthy, and professional. They showed up at the appointed time, were pleasant to have in the house, and worked around my teaching schedule. The owners and the employees are all hard working and also painstaking and meticulous. Two other flooring contractors saw the cracks and settlement issues in my main living area and turned and walked away. This wonderful family-owned business solved the problems and worked around the obstacles. My floor slopes, so it was not easy to install the laminate. They kept at the work until it looked fine. I could not be happier with the quality of the work done, the steady pace of the work (they kept at it until it was accomplished), or the very reasonable price, an incredible deal for the unusual amount of work involved. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I am grateful to Angie's List for steering me their way.

Her warehouse was very old and smelly. She was nice, but I didn’t have her do anything. I think they’ve been in business for a very, very long time which is a good sign. The showroom was a little disorganized and cluttered.

Altogether a very positive and delightful experience.

Overall, it went very well. The owner Arleen came and measured the rooms and the carpets were delivered and installed as promised. Same was with the window treatments. Her prices were much more competitive than the large home improvement chain stores, not to mention that the measurements were done right the first time.

We worked with David and found him very conscientious in keeping us informed of each step during the process of installing both the baseboards and carpet. We ordered the carpet and baseboards special and Arleen Rose had it shipped and installed within four days. The workmanship was extremely good and the workmen were very professional in the installation and cleanup. Randall was especially meticulous in installing the baseboard. We ran into to a situation where we decided we needed additional baseboard in a closet and David was able to procure the necessary boards without slowing down the installation. David went over and above in helping us get ready for the install and we will recommend Arleen Rose Carpet to anyone and will use them again.

Arleen the owner of the business showed up with the installers on time. The men finished the work as agreed and were courteous and professional. I needed a quick installation due to renting the property and Arleen Rose performed on time and expedious manner so that I could have my tenant move in day after.
